Short answer nope.
You can stop looking cause there will not come an " awesome app for all the noobs so they can hack the world"
But i think that one nokia phone could do it, maybe nokia n900 or n9000 but im not sure

Backtrack 5 can do what you want. If you can install that and hack WiFi with it, you definitely are not a noob.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

Hi just bringing this one back up as there is a lot of people that are looking to crack wpa from there phones and a lot of people looking to do so and again a lot of people saying it can't be done.
So 1 it can be done i can crack just about any wifi within 3 to 5 min from my android phone "that is a droid 2, got it for the keyboard ^^"
2 it will cost money as you need a remote server or you can use your pc but it will take a long time... but its free...
I'm not posting the apk that i made as its my tool "the hacker makes the tools, the tools don't make the hacker".
But here is the way to do it, all you need your phone to do it to get the handshake thats easy and light to do any smart phone are day's can do it + the cap file i light to so easy and fast to upload to a remote server.
here is were you need that remote server or pc running linux "backtrack if your lazy". once you uped your file to the server you can do all the rest over ssh again can be done no problem with your phone i do it every day "not just for hacking/cracking".
you run your scan to fin the password on your server + you don't even have to have your phone on all the time and don't have to stay next to the wifi spot to stay incognito.
and you done, you can even edit the app up to mail you when its found the key "i have not done this to lazy lol"
there i hope that helps some people to point you a way to the road of cracking wifi's.
peace out !!

In response to that long post, I'd have to agree with the guy above me... You're not cracking on the phone. Which IS possible.
I'd like to know how you put your wifi adapter in monitor mode. So far I have found no drivers for any Android fone except the notorious nokia that allow for monitor mode or injection.
Cracking can be done with the aircrack suite by passing the cap file to it. I run it under debian in a chroot that had r/w access to the Android and root filesystem.
Cracking works. Monitor mode doesn't. In short.
Edit: injection is needed for wpa2 de-Auth, which is needed to sniff the handshake. At least as far as I'm aware. I've never done it without booting a client off.
Are you sure you've even captured a handshake on yer f0ne?

There have been a "team" which had successful edited a driver allowing for bypassing the kernel blablabla **** in short term the wifi chipset bcm something is running in monitor mode but the kernel / driver only takes a bit of the info passed from the wifi chipset.
What those guys did was editing the driver = allowed monitor mode. But I think that the thread is a bit dead now

Haha you're probably right. I don't think much is going on this thread.
Do you know what that team's name is? I'd be interested in helping them.

Any app you've recently installed as what i see that ad is causing the problems..
Try to figure it out what app is causing the problems..
If you can't see what is causing the problems try to download air push detector on the market and it will scan your apps whose doing that ads on your notification..
Solved... I think it was a fake 4shared app or another couple of apps that I already forgot... Thanks

First off don't ever think that android is invulnerable to malware, viruses etc.
That's like misinformed Mac users who think the same.
Android in fact is diferent. Being open source I can promise you people are working on ways to hack your phone.
ALSO because there is so much opportunity to market stuff, moreso than pc or iPhone/mac android is probably lookin like a big open playground.
The fact is, most anti virus is complete bs, viruses are generaly picked up by ignorant people. Not to be harsh, but mist people just click/tap away on everything they see, or just open up links, or email attachments.
General rule: if you don't know what it is freaking delete that shizzle....
I got a txt from what appears to be a tmo message... Except it was from "tmo"
And not "t-mobile". I deleted it before opening because all the other txts were from t-mobile not t-mo.
Eventually were gonna start seeing a lot of viruses, malware etc, for android.
Don't bother with anti virus software just a waste of memory.
Also try and stick with ad free spa or just suck it up and by the paid ad free version.
Hope this helps

I never click on any internet ads. Every app I own that has a paid version, I've bought it (I've spent $100s on apps in my day). I don't have any non-market apps (only because I don't know of any good ones). I've uninstalled about 10 apps that were relatively new and possible malware apps and rebooted a few times and haven't gotten the spam again. This is the first time it's happened to a phone of mine. I get it on my tablet, but I have non market apps on that.

There is a huge range of games from racing to shooting. You can also root and install custom ROMs if you are bored of your current one. You should actually go and search about user reviews instead and not posting a thread here. But yeah, S2 is great I have been using it for a year now.

what are your top list app and games?..
You might not like the same things others like. Instead of asking people for help in thinking, why don't you download some games/apps/whatever from the Play Store and try them out yourself? That way you can form your own opinion. (if you are capable of doing so)

One must really visit a psychologist before even thinking of trying to post on this forum just to get the fear away of getting such answers. It's really getting worse.
Anyway, I just go to the play store and then apps and scroll to the farthest right. You will there mostly find the newest apps.

[Q] Working VPN In Syria

Hi Guys...
I'm sorry for posting here such a question but i couldn't find anything around the web to answer my question. and i'm very desperate to find an answer cause it's a matter of life or death nowadays in my country (Syria).
recently tor (orbot) and all VPN services was shut down by the government to ensure more internet censorship and i wasn't able to find any alternatives for my PC except Ultrasurf although it's not very secure. but surprisingly i found a VPN service for android called Fearless Mobility VPN Which was the only VPN service that is still working.
So my question is... what's the difference between Fearless Mobility VPN and other VPN services i.e Hotspot Shield that enabled it to work after blocking all other VPN< is it a Protocol related issue? and can you suggest other services VPN similar to Fearless Mobility or HTTPS for PC or android?
many thanx in advance for your help and my apologies to the moderators again for posting here..
