[QUESTION/PROBLEM] MultiROM/CM7 Error - Optimus One, P500, V General

Hey guys...
A couple of months ago, I installed Tassadars MultiROM and it was working fine.
Now I want to uninstall MultiROM so i can install PerfectPeso... but I can't.
Tassadar has the MultiROM uninstaller link up for MultiUpload, which has been shut down.
So if anyone can upload it the uninstaller to MediaFire or something... please do.
Also, in ClockworkMod, it can't factory reset or wipe cache etc. I think maybe because of MULTIROM... I've tried installing PerfectPeso v1.7a, but I get a bootloop. So I think it's MULTIROM.
Thanks
Carlisle
P.S I'm using a CM7 backup...

Links are down all over the place and if I had known months ago that the ****ing govt was ****ting down file servers I would of mass downloaded every rom myself and uploaded with mediafire....the only thing I can tell you,try kdz'ing the phone and starting over

Unfortunately for me, I've never done a "KDZ", so a link to a tutorial or something would help?
What exactly does KDZ do?
-Carlisle
P.S SOPA and PIPA regulating laws were in the US Congress since November 2011, and stupidly for me I didn't mass download all the stuff I needed. Mediafire seems a good option for now, and hopefully it is a LONG time before they are shut down. I reckon someone should open maybe a website or VPS server and just download a bunch of the ROMs and all to it, and have it as an Official XDA-Developers file host, so us devs can host them up on there, without a worry of the stupid f***ing government shutting it down.

No need to kdz, flash a non multirom recovery, do a factory reset (all wipes) and flash the new rom.

Will try when I get home... work's a drat

I think that recovery is from Eugene's dead horse kernel. You can post it in dead horse thread. BTW you have to put the rom on external sd to flash with that kernel.
Thanks man.will try that.

Well I moved the rom to ex sd.still no go.can I change the kernel and if yes how do I do that.I can't use a computer has to be done on the phone.please help.thanks

Don't worry mate. Just download odin and stock jfd rom and you will be back up and running in 10 minutes.
Check out this thread..

Why not do this? The OP wanted to change kernels without a computer. The kernel flasher does just that.
Besides, Odin should be baseline knowledge if you are going to play around with the Vibrant.
P.S.- I forgot to quote Duboi
Thanks all, I odin back to stock.all is well.

couple of questions and an issue....
when installing the deodexed stock say writing 1.3 kernel,is it the 1.3 kernel or stock? just the roko install script?
the file size is so small was wondering if it has webtop? or if since i installed lokis webtop it will have webtop once i install it?
the issue im having is no data service tried several of the usual methods to get it working but cant seem to get it to grab a signal. the weird thing is in seetings menu says i am connected to sprint but i have no 3g icon and no web page or data service loads.. idk if is just on my end or what but wanted to bring it to light in hopes maybe you knew a way to get it working..... btw
thanks for this once i can get it fully working will use it as a base for my roms from now on was looking for a completely stock deodexed rom for my base hoping i found it... i know there is a thread with the system and framework from stock deodexed but couldnt get it to boot so... as for me happy to see this up
Yeah data still not working downloaded it again last night tried flash this morning flashes and boots just no data

I tried the unlocked deodex first and data plus wifi were not working. I didn't look at data much. Wifi said obtaining ip address, but never connected.
The odex version works. I rooted it with the photon-torpedo, and worked fine. I'm restoring my data with titanium backup as we speak.

It depends on which method you want to run. You can use the rootzwiki leak which is a tar file used in Odin. Or you can use dagr8's CWM flashable zip.
Let me know which one you want to use and I'll give you further directions. (Odin method would be easier for newbs)

If you know how to use CWM I'd recommend using that one. I believe if you flash the rootzwiki one you will lose root and CWM.

I have done a nandroid and when you say flash i guess you mean load the exe through odin, if so it comes back as failed all the time, do i have to try a diff com or something.

I would suggest maybe starting with the collective First flight ics it just has fewer steps at this point. What you want to do is download the rom to your sd card and follow the instructions on wiping.
If you need more help feel free to pm me.

{ROM}{PORT} Avatar ROM {ROM}{PORT}

I have taken the e975 international Optimus G official rom by avatar and ported it to our AT&T E970 until they make an official build for us. this rom is pretty bad. the theme options are much like Miui and they have many great features built into it.
Go to their website for the full low down on the rom and to request new features and themes and if you are a themer please make some of your themes available on their format.
Avatar Rom
I'll add the full details later tonight i'm in a rush for a BBQ and cold beer this afternoon but saw the avatar admin said i could post this port up and wanted to get it out to you all
I used our CM10.1 as a base so its using the cm10.1 kernel and any other kernel that ran on it should run on this but i have not tested it yet so beware and make backups
I used BANKS Gapps and have had no problem yet.
*****Known Issues****
- jb calling bug
- on initial install the external SD isn't recognized (I used the SD card fix from when codefire and others didn;t see the sd either. the link is below and i'm working on a permanent fix this week
-a few of the about phone/rom info is wrong. i'm also fixing this later this week
**Install Instructions**
1) Download the rom, gapps, and SD card fix from below and place them at the root of your SD card
2) Boot into CW and make a nandroid. i also recomened using Titanium to backup your apps
3) Wipe dalvik cache, system and do a full data wipe as well
4) Select Install zip and choose the rom file
5) Install Gapps if you wish
6) Install the SD card fix
7) Reboot into the ROM and let it boot up
8) boot into CW and restore your data if you so desire.

I ditto the fellow above me here. I have tried to follow that guide and I can see my SD card in file manager. But in system > storage there is only internal recognised. No option for SD/external/added memory. Kinda want to see my giant gallery from my 64gb/32gb cards.

As of now Sir i have a problem with my phone because i didnt know that it is not right to transfer files from my phone storage to sd card like system files, im now in android system recovery and dont know what to do with my phone, i hope some one will help me in this trouble cause i dont know if this is the situation they called brick. thanks for your reply, i will gladly appreciate it.
This is the whole story regards my current problem
early this morning as i open my phone, i used to think that if i will transfer all files from my phone "system" in my 8g sd card it will be helpfull to lessen the burden of my processing ram that is 489mb available. I attemp to use root explorer to transfer the system files on my sd cards. i cut it in the root explorer option and paste it in my sd cards that is 8g. seconds passed it transfer files but as minute goes by it stock up and dont run anymore. i used to press the reboot system which is power botton + up volume and hold it in a couple of seconds. and then i stock in the system recovery and dont know what to do next. everytime i install some zip. files it is written that E: SIGNATURE VERIFICATION FAILED INSTALLATION ABORTED. thats the whole story. hope someone will help me to fix this issue.thanks for your time reading my message.

No..it wont work like that buddy!

Sorry man! Your stock rom was collapsed.....i got the same situation(error signature) with my samsung galaxy tab. Then i came to know that it was soft bricked.
Then i kept my phone in download mode and flashed stock rom(available in official samsung site) through Odin software using my laptop. Then is worked like before
So now what you do is......
Open google..and search for "How to soft unbrick **your phone model** "
You may find something which is helpfull.
