Most likely next month. It was due to be released sometime this month, however they delayed it.
As tough as it is having to wait until next month, it will be worth it as long as they get all the bugs out and make it run great on Androids.

Just curious when you guys think we'll get the official 4.0.

What exactly is "Cheesecake"? I've seen it floating around and I think I used something like that for my Bionic (when I had it) to get an 893 update.
Motorola said that it will release 3-4 months read it on phonedog.com few weeks ago

I like to think of it as an underground conglomerate akin to Fight Club.
We basically raid Motorola's engineering servers looking for test builds. The brave few (like me) might flash them, but usually it's better suited to pass the builds on to a developer.
Cheesecake is an app Phydo made to make it much easier. Before it would take hours.

Not really. It will be nice, but I'm enjoying the phone as it is. I was using ICS roms on my dinc until I switched, so I know what to look forward to, but it was also a big laggy and rebooted a lot, so I have yet to enjoy a polished, official release on new hardware.

Well if only there were no leaked ics, we wouldnt feel this way. Lets talk about ios 5. It didnt have any leaked os but users managed to wait for more than a year. It seems that when we know there is a better stuff, we still wanted more... and fast

You're comparing the average iPhone users to the most informed Android users. The average Android user has never even heard of Ice Cream Sandwich.
I do think it is ridiculous that the RAZR was advertised as "ICS upgradeable," and six months later there is still no official date set for release. I don't understand how Motorola even got away with advertising the phone that way. They should have said "Gingerbread, with the possibility that before your contract is up in two years there may be an update to ICS."
I've got ICS. It's amazing.

sorry G-dog, due to high consumption of Ice Cream Sammishes I too am large and in charge...
all the while enjoying the Hotel California of leaks.
I was also tired of waiting.wanted to sell it but i got chinese release. Anyway M sucks for their policy. Sell and forget.

While I totally agree with this, I would like to say that I'd rather wait a few weeks for a solid ics build the get rushed into a buggy one.

I'm running the OG leak, and as much as I love it, it's starting to act up... I didn't pull the trigger on the 84 or 85 leaks, so hopefully in a couple of weeks, I'll be able to update to official ICS yumminess!

And to all who are claiming they'll sell their phones, I'll give the same response I did over in the Acer Iconia A500 section... WHY would you buy a phone you were unhappy with? Did you really buy it to just sit there in agony until ICS was released? Suffer horribly under Gingerbread until the promise of a new OS became reality? Really?
Same offer- I'll give you $50 for your oh-so-hated Gingerbread Razr. $55 if it's a Maxx.

Take-Two plans to release it this month according to their financial reports, but who knows.. This looks like an exclusivity deal with Apple. No one was asking them for a release date when they first announced it. They could've easily choosen the GTA route but they didn't. I think there's no better explanation for this.
Apparently the date is now June 14th. This article said Rockstar tweeted it today. I don't use Twitter so I couldn't verify myself. Here is the link I read.

I have tried it but it is very laggy because it is beta yes!
But it looks really cool!
Used it for a while this evening. Definitely has some potential. In present state, it's a little laggy and lacking in widgets. Great concept though. Should be very nice in the near future.

I should have my i-957 in the next few days and will report on how it works on it. I was a bit upset that they didn't release the beta for phone devices, but what can you do?
I'm quite excited to be a part of the community soon! Picking one up to use as my main communications device since i don't use more than 5 or 10 minutes a month. Hook this bad boy up to a bt headset and I'll be golden!

Im actually connecing through a SIP service and phone out through GVoice. I spent a fair bit of time figuring out which route to go with it.
I have my tablet now, but won't be tinkering with it until tonight.
I'll be setting up the chameleon launcher this evening.

As the title says, I'm going to start a new contract and get my wife a Verizon phone also, does anyone know of good phones coming out around February or March?
I want a high end phone something to replace my beloved rezound.
Should I just wait? I know the sgs4 is coming soon... Any advice would be great. I'm willing to wait. I do prefer htc phones but the dna's screen is too big for me. And sd card is a must

If you're willing to wait just wait. HTC phones of late = far form the quality they're known for producing. SGS4 should be good and well worth the extra 3-4 month wait if you only plan on upgrading every 20 months.
I would wait and see what the next batch of phones will be. Im sure that it will be worth the wait. Imo

i have an october 1 upgrade so that is awesome for me! just enough time to see the new phones and get good reviews cant wait
Well I think I've decided on the dna for me, and possibly the nexus 4 for my wife. I also have a dormant line that I can upgrade in November if I start feeling regret thanks for your opinions guys
