[Q] Impossible to download on Market and root my phone - HTC EVO 3D

Hello,
I'm new in this forum and also in the smart phone area.I'd like to submit my problems, and enjoy your advices.I am in China, and recently purchased a HTC HTC EVO 3D type X515m WCDMA.
Problem 1: After I installed android market from apk (I thought it should be installed!), can not download any application.Android market closes just after download start and I have got this following message: "The Market application (process com. android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force close ".
Unable to download through PC. Help!!
Problem 2: I wanted to root my phone for use some applications but the phone should be S-off (this is the same meaning as unlocking the phone? Or unlock the bootloader?). My HBOOT is 1.49.0018.I've heard about change of CID( what it is and where and how to found it?), about downgrade my HTC.
I do not know where to start!
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Well the android market comes installed by default, so it seems you installed a market that isn't for your phone. It sounds like you're going to have to do a factory reset. Don't install apks from the web for apps that come preinstalled on your phone.
As for your second problem, I can't help you, I'm on Sprint in the US, but I bet there's threads in the GSM development section for the Evo 3D detailing how you can obtain s-off and root access.

[Q] advise from the pros

I have just bought the s2 and have a couple of questions.
1. Rooting. I have always rooted my handsets, but my last phone (optimus 3D) had issues with ghost calls etc when I rooted and changed the firmware. Should I stay away from any particular rooting methods/roms/firmware?
2. As soon as I turned the handset on it asked me about a software update. I selected yes, but then it checked and it was running the most up-to-date software (4.0.4). That said, I have noticed that the software update process is constantly running in the background. I have unticked all the options for software update but it's still there taking up some of the resources. Any idea why?
3. Also want to stop the social hub process. Is there a way to do this without rooting?
4. I have google play services installed. Don't remember getting this. Is this installed as standard or has been downloaded elsewhere.
Appreciate any replies, thanks!
1. Yes, you can root your device
4 yes it installed by default.
Rest of the question can be found in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1648351&page=130
As you are n 4.0.4 read this thread also http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1756242

I am new to the Android Rooting World. I just installed the Google Play edition for HTC ONE on my AT&T HTC ONE. I followed the videos correctly, installed everything but whenever i try to perform an action on my HTC ONE, it says: "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped." It gives me the option to select OK but when i do it say the exact same thing again. I do not know what to do. Please Help!
Thanks.

i have no idea what to tell you but if it come down to it you might have to flash a rom on your phone using lg support tool.. but before you do anything make sure your usb debugging is on your phone might be done like mine :crying:

Play Store is part of google apps
you delete all google apps , and you remove play store
so... btw why you want to remove GAPPS
people that wipe they phones and install custom ROMS , they install GAPPS afterwards
bloatware like metro own crap and tmobile are fine to remove
but why you want to erase the google apps
????
Just wondering what you want to do
How can you use you Google android phone when you uninstalled Google apps. Your gmail login is used for YouTube too and guess what....you removed your ability to log into your phone.

[Q] Help: can't add a google account on the phone

Hi everyone
My friend bought this phone, i guess it's a chinese version of an Samsung Galaxy S5. He was testing it and the phone doesn't even bring the Google Play Store. I tried to installed manually but as soon as it opens it closes itself. I then proceed to check his android account but found that there was none on the phone and it didn't even asked for one. We factory reseted the phone and it still didn't asked for a google account.
I went to the settings to try and upgrade its android version but found no upgrade button.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Markoz

That's because it doesn't have any Google Apps package installed. It's common with chinese devices (clones). You need to install a gapps package and probably spoof the phone as another one. There's tutorials on the net if you Google it. You'll need root.

Kingzone

Hey people,
I have a big problem and I am a big noob what contains to software, hardware is my thing.
Lets get straight to the point......
I have rooted my device(Kingzone K2) with Kingroot on Android lolipop 5.1.
the first time i tried to root it would not work because my phone had a unknown version of android or something like that, so i reported that to kingroot and a month later they made it possible to root on my device.
now I have rooted my device but I started up my phone and all of a sudden my phone was reset to factory setting.
I thought it would have been a accident with android devicemanager.
And up following I wanted to download apps and stuff but it gave me the error that Android.procces.media was stopped.
And the apps wont download I tried everything to download them, also camera and gallery wont work for the same reason.
So can someone please help me with this problem.......
Thanks.
