It'd be over on Chris Soyar and Wes Garner's githubs probably.

has anybody tried any of the nightly builds to see how much is working and how stable they are?
I tried the newest on from the 14th. It booted up and that was about all you could do. No wifi, so I stopped there
CheifzReloaded posted something on his twitter the other day regarding the Slide so I'm guessing it won't be to much longer before we have our CM6 ported from them guys.

I've been flashing them every night for fun, but they are definitely not usable. There are lots of bugs. I just flash them to get a taste of their progress and what kind of features and goodies we can expect. It's going to be awesome when they give us a finished product!
hopefully they release soon, i still havent rooted yet, im waiting to see how well the release is before, but im getting bored with stock.
What kernel version is being used on these nightlies?
If it's the same as what we have now you can push wlan.ko to fix wifi.

While this may work, the phone goes to a black screen after about a minutes worth of use and the only way I've found to make it workagain is to pull the battery. Eugene's CM6 kang is much more usable than this is. Although I haven't tried it with gapps flashed over the top. That could be the difference. I will try it later and report back.
Cyanogenmod official nightlies have started so im creating a thread so that we can try out the new nightlies and discuss what is new and what problems we have and help each other out
At the moment this is only for GSM only hopefully cyanogenmod will support CDMA soon
These are the new nighties

Why create such a thread in Dec section?
R u posting a rom? R u posting something where u have developed something?
Nightlies are created by CM build bot ... they will use same code as fxp release since fxp are the ones pushing those sources.... but will be much more unstable...
This clearly belongs to general section... also correct the name of this thread to discussion thread...

Yes but I would not call it stable as the camera does not work and Touch Pads are not brilliant nightlys have have the latest features just like a updated Rom every night so your stable will not have latest features but the latest nightly will have

imfloflo is a moderator and he has clearly outlined the purpose of that thread...
codeworkx is codeworkx he IS THE CM DEVELOPER!!!
the one by jlevy73 is interesting...
in my personal opinion these kind of threads should atleast be started by a team member (member of the team handling CM release for that device)... so that there will be some use of it... else it will only be users keeping on debating/posting same things over and over again
again this is just my personal opinion... wht u do is ur wish...

Can someone please upload the rom to the dev section?
it has reported a much smoother operation on it than any 3.1 roms.

It is stock, compiled by task650 from what was given to him. However, he added a couple of stuff of his own. I think he also rooted it but that can be undone.
However, I think he's planning on compiling a normal stock untouched. Keep tuned to that post!

Follow the instructions of the thread up.
Dear friends,
I just install Cyanogenmod 7.2 RC0 (built 2/10/12) on my HTC Aria.
After this I have some problems:
1. Home and Search Buttons doesn't work;
2. Screenlock doesn't work ( I tried pattern lock configuration).
Have you any experience?
Need your help.
Best regards,
Mamuka

Try doing a clean install.
What do you mean in "clean install"?
Is it better to install "Nightly" then "RC"?
Please, give me a download link for CM 7.2 fully working version without any bugs.

It means to wipe everything before flashing. Try the one in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24340035&postcount=250. Nightlies are more updated than RCs.

but the nightlies are more buggy than the rc's, the rc's are more buggy than the stable. The stable versions are just what the name says, IMO The stable versions are the best if you dont want to deal with bugs. If you are like me and dont mind them then go with nightlies or the RC's. Personally I am using the RC from the cyanogenmod site.

The one I linked to has no noticeable bugs. Also, if something is a nightly, it doesn't mean that it needs to have bugs. Usually just the earlier nightlies have bugs.

This was just a personal hobby project, but it seems many people are using these builds, so I'm starting this thread to keep the main CM thread clean.
The nightly is built at 6:30AM IndianStandardTime (GMT+5:30), and contains all changes synced till then. The most prominent difference between these builds and the official ones is that there builds are compiled using the Linaro toolchain. To me, this results in a smoother UI, and better battery life than the official builds. From time to time, these builds may also contain some hotfixes for small problems on official builds, and they may also contain some cherrypicks.
You can just install these builds over official builds without a data wipe. You can even go back to the official builds without a data wipe.
Download link: https://copy.com/vJqpoVqwoUXJ
Please check MD5 before flashing.
What are the drawbacks of building with Linaro? I assume there must be some, if the official build is not using this, right?

The drawbacks are that theoretically, there might be some unexpected side effects if building from a non-standard compiler. I personally haven't seen any since I've been using it. Also, I think the CM team thinks Linaro is just placebo, and hence they don't use it.

I'm sorry I didn't explain it better in the OP. By hotfix, I mean like the icon pixellation issue that was present in the past few official nightly builds wasn't there on mine. So from time to time, if I find some problem in the official nightlies, and I can fix them, the fixes will be included in my builds
