This one you can blow!
Just letting everyone know that the latest humble bundle for Android 2 is available, and I've tested all games and can confirm they are working with a stock Note.
Pay what you want for some great games, and give a bit to charity. Even Avadon, which is made for tablets runs on the Note, although it's a bit hard to read some of the text. In addition you also get Windows/Linux/Mac versions of the games and the soundtracks. All in all not a bad deal.
Thanks for the heads up and checking out the game compatibility for us.... love the Humble Bundles! Get some great games for an amazing price, support indie devs, and give some to charity!
For those of us who have no idea what your talking about can you elaborate a little or provide a link? I get from comments that its so sort of independent app dev that goes to charirty, but whats all this about windows and such.

Thats the site he is talking about, great deal and idea behind it!

Thanks for the link, blocked at work for some reason, will check it out tonight.
Thank you, I purchased it and dling it. Never played zenbound, can't wait to play!
Hello, I'm posting this tread because I have searched every inch of the market/internet for a good First person-Role playing game in real time. I know about "Deadly dungeons", don't get me wrong it's a great game but its not in real time and not free roaming.
So, see that it might take awhile for someone to make said game, I've decided to make one myself. Only one problem. I don't know any code, and I suck at graphics. I'll be doing plots, quest, main quest, and music. So I'm looking for a team who would like to help me put this together. It will be a paid for app will a free trial so in the end, if it is any good there will be money. No guarantees thought. But seeing as it will be the first of it's kind, there is a good chance.
Imagine a game like "The Elder Scrolls" or like the iOS game "Necromancer's Rising". That is what I'm looking for. So if your interested in seeing this come to life, PM me and I'll give you my email ASAP.
Please, I know many people are waiting for such a game, and there is money in it IF it is completed and turns out well, but that all depends on how hard your willing to work. Think of how many "These guys just made my day for making this game" there will be. I personally am a HUGE Elder Scrolls fan, I mean I got every game. From Arena to Skyrim. That is what starting my love for, as I call them FPRTRPG games.
Hope to be hearing from you guys!
-Andrew
P.S If you are not interested, or not a developer or what now, please spreed the word, if you know someone who might want to help, tell them about this.
We've seen a good few authors who started making videos, only to move on to bigger and better things (when they start getting paid, and get the free phones).
I found a Youtuber who makes videos-- specifically, SGH-i717r/x/etc. videos, and lately he's been comparing and contrasting UCLF6 and AOSP ROMs.
He's humble, and give serious credit to the developers.
If you're going to make videos, they should be like this guy.
I thought i'd share because I've been commenting on his videos, and he's replied to every comment, and even responded to video requests from me. I honestly think he's doing this for us.
So check him out, and let him know what Note video you'd like, or which mod/ROM you'd like spotlighted, so he has a large enough sample to give us the videos we want.
I don't know him IRL, have no connection to him sans the 4-5 youtube comments i've made, and hold no commercial or private interest here.
He's just a humble dude who gives credit where due. And that's the type of author we need more of. =D

Just checking out the link..His videos are pretty good..I respect when users like this make videos out of there own time to share what we could be expecting out of roms..very usefull...thanks man
I watched most of these before I even had the phone in my hands and they are excellent and very informative. He posts one video per day and there are over 100 videos on the channel now. I am not affiliated at all with the poster but the information has been very helpful. I've already benefitted from many videos on the site. He is open to ideas for videos about questions you have and is very responsive to questions posted in comments. It's refreshing to have someone like him that is contributing to our knowledge base.
It's the "Daily Note II" done by "Lucidmike".

Wow great find. I'm sure users on other carriers that got the phone a month ago know some of these tips. Verizon customers just got the phone 2 days ago.
Thank you.
Yea this is sick, a lot of videos :victory:
i am learning new features everyday i love it
Thanks so much for sharing.
It is commonly the case that we spend way too much time to trying many different Roms and re-configure a lot of things repeatedly, but missing a lot of out of the box tips that is great many times.
Not that the former way is wrong it is just that 700 USD toy need a bit more before being listed on EBay for buying next great phone. =)
Like those videos a lot. Not every episode is as useful as other episodes, but it is a good stuff.
