if I'm correct, jit is already installed in minicm7. Just enable or disable it in cm settings > performance. You don't need to do anything else

you all can add this by yourself to your stock rooted 2.1 rom.
but you wont have any multitouch with your e10i : only a pinch2zoom way
read x8 forum for OC,UV and pinch2zoom
and please, do not post this kind of request in dev forums ... (general and Q&A are made for that )
the original 2.1 update 1 is more stable and performance...
but i cant create a rom.. im not a expert
i've asked if someone create this rom for more performance.. its all =|

you absolutely don't need to be an expert
are you using xrecovery or CWM ?
you just need to add the needed modules to make nearly all you want to work
just follow what the dev said for installation of each module
OC :
dx original thread
direct link to the file
note that OC module contains UV module
pinchzoom :
dx original thread
nearly no lags for 2D :

you know where downloading the 2.1.1.a.6??

you don't need to download it why do you want it ?
all you need is to add modules in the right place and edit your hw_config.sh
and reboot
(don't forget to backup before )
but you can flash lastest firmware with SEUS
if i don't really understand what you want, tell me and reformulate
because i have cm7 and for the 2.1.1.c.0 i dont find mods =(..

keyboard bugs are really smalls with some practice you just don't notice them
and using a gingerbread rom with a custom kernel is the best way to prove that SE left us, but that we (xda devs, testers, users, ...) bypassed all this and make something they never imagined to happen
you may find some stock rom collection in the forum if you really want to flash it back
and some xrecovery zips (not cwm sorry) with features ready to be flashed
==> somewhere in threads of ... march and may i think

Also stock rom is really, really slow. Just today i tried Linpack test and in stock I got around 2.5~ 3 MFlops score but on MiniCM 2.0.6 I am getting 7.7 = >150% performance boost!
nah, on daily use the stock rom is the best

forget test results, use both of them for a while, then you can compare.
I'm using xperia x8 and I installed jit compiler when I was in stock rom, then I installed gingerdx, the question is do I have to flash jit compiler everytime I install a new rom?
Thanks for the answers.
If the new rom doesn't already have it and you want it, then yes.

Hello everyone, im new to this site, and previously installed Wolfbreak's v7 rom for my Xperia
X10i. And had problems like
Missing camera sounds(shutter and that video recording start sound)
Missing Lock and Unlock sounds
Missing SD card mounted sound
So far those are the only probs I can find, my phone works fast and smart
So yeah pls help me with these.
And here is how I installed the ROM
Updated from android 1.6 to 2.3.3(latest), rooted the phone, installed the custom rom(stock) in xRecovery(I followed those wiping stuff instructions by Wolf), and installed some stock apps in Appman, done. Did I did it wrong?
Another question :3
Can I also install doomslord's custom kernel v06? Will it make it faster?
Why do u need the sounds? U will get more free RAM without them Anyway if you want them you can look at the sticky in themes & apps section & about the 2nd question - Yes, DooMKernel will make the ROM faster..

i believe wolf moves all his sounds to sd card..u can move them in system>media>audio
what do u mean by faster? overclock? faster transitions? better quadrants? faster data? because my phone is pretty fast and im clocked at 998 and but it also saves me battery.

Man I am having problems flashing DooM's kernel, how to unlock bootloader? I have sent a PM to DooM and maybe tell it to you too so I can have 2 guys to help me here :3
I tried 9Lukas5's method yet failing due to device is not going stuck on SE logo after the flashing azuzu's kernel downgrade, It only goes to the XPERIA Wolfbreak startscreen, I can't unlock it. PLEASE HALP D:
Heey, can anybody help me? I've installed (A long time ago, in 2010) Zdzihu's xRecovery mini-alpha and Cm6, and i gave it to my sister. Now she's angry because it stopped working, can anybody help me to change the recovery and flash a rom that has no problems?? Pleasee..!! I really need it!
Can u start ur phone..
just do stock for her. she wont mind
Thanks for suggestions, I've fixed it..! but, with a custom Rom, can someone give me the link to a custom that doesn't have multitouch? the screen doesn't work well with the rom I've put in it.. Or the link to stock? Thanks a lot in advance!
After installing the rom just goto system/lib/modules cy8ctma300_ser.ko
If u r using nAa kernel with minicm 7.2 go to its devlopment page there is a different way to disable daultouch
Thanks a lot!
Hi,
I have Galaxy Nexus and flash it a lot. So I'm not newbie.
But I'm a total newbie once we talk about X10 Mini.
What are the most important things I must do with my Mini?
- CWM? Is there a cwm for mini?
- Titanium?
- Tweaks/tools/apps for speed and performance?
I want to stay with stock ROM.
Thanks for tips.
You flash Android on one divace but you newbie on Android on other divace hmmm
Whell if you wanna stick to Stock :
1.JIT
2.oc/uv module
3. fake DT
4.zipalign
that's it . You cant do much on 2.1 anymore - you keep the best - Camera and Radio and that's all . There no G-play for it you got few apps left on Market which is still support 2.1 and that's it. You can use A2SD via SDext2 from G-play.
spoken in 2 words - Camera and Radio =2.1
Android 2.1 on our small beasts is like driving a tank and shooting out the barrel with a pistol.
It can do so much more

Thanks for your replies. I did almost everything. And my wife's phone rocks now !!!
Root + unlock boot loader + nAa kernel + CWM (came with kernel) + MiniCM7 2.2.1 By nAa = DONE
Q:
1. Do I need v6 supercharger on top of miniCM7? Is there a thread for X10 mini how to install that V6 supercharger correctly and get most of it?
2. Seeder? This thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987032 ??? Anything specific for X10 mini?

1. V6 supercharger is great for multitasking, no matter what rom. You just have to install busybox and run the v6 script from smanager (search on play store).
2. Seeder is mostly for heavyweight gamers, and not really suited for daily use, as, in my experience, it drains the battery.

1. Is busybox which was installed during rooting process with flashtool enough? Or should I download busybox from the Play Store?
2. No gaming planned. So I'm skipping this.

The I don know the preinstalled version of bb on flashtool, so, to be sure, I´d download the one from the market and install it.
Ok. Thanks.
