Adjust both volumes with rocker? - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Is there any way to use the volume rocker to adjust both the main volume and notification volume at the same time? Only the main volume slider moves with the rocker.

I don't know start the icon is called, but if you press the one next to the volume bar when using the volume trucker to change the volume it should show an option for it. At least that what I regent seeing on that screen. I sent my prime in for RMA last Thursday.

When you press the volume rocker, the icon pops up. There is an icon on the volume bar,but it only shows you the 2 separate volumes. There are no options that come up.

The second volume bar controls system notifications I believe.

I'm aware of that. You have to manually slide it with your finger to adjust it though. I want to be able to move the volume rocker and have both volumes adjust at the same time.

[Q] volume help

was wondering if there was a reg edit to change how much the volume increases/decreases on one press of the volume buttons... i think it changes three bars on one press of either button, any way of making it one bar per press of the buttons... three is too much, for me anyway...
cheers
Just press one of the volume buttons so that the volume dialog comes up and then use the screen to change the level. You can go up and down 1 bar at a time, rather than 3.
You can have up to 16 levels (instead of 6) with Volumex

soft volume controls

is there any way to get volume controls in the notification area of cm7? where the no service line used to be would be awesome. ive got the hard keys mod for menu/back on volume controls, so a quick and awesome soft volume control would be awesome.
thanks in advance!
Volumer++ in the market puts a link in the notification bar to volume controls.
I use it since I made my volume buttons Home/back.
Not exactly what you wanted, but maybe close enough.
Quick settings also has a volume option.
As I understand, does mooja mean to have volume control as softkey or button savior instead of menu/back/home
Me too, mooja.

I would love it if it was somehow configurable in CM7 whether you wanted the menu/back buttons or vol+/vol- in the notification bar, and the same for the hard keys. I used to have a Coby tablet and it had the same number of buttons as the nook, but the hard keys on the side were menu/home (the big button on front was "back"). The ROM for the Coby had the vol+/vol- keys in the notification bar, and I thought that worked out perfectly. That was much more convenient than the current setup in CM7 with the menu/back keys in the notification bar.

[Q] Volume buttons only control media volume?

I know there have been related topics of the volume rocker buttons only controlling media volume, but my question is spawned by something else that I was able to do a few days ago.
So I used to have a HTC amaze, the volume rockers controls the ringer/notifications. I liked that. I tend to change my notification/ringers often throughout the work day. But now I'm noticing on my SIII that the buttons only control media, which I understand is practical seeing as how ringers/notifications are thought of as a set it and forget it.
But the other day I was at the movies and was able to hit my volume rocker and it controlled my ringer volume and went all the way down to vibrate. And I did this from the home screen. I do it now, and it controls media. I know that you can hole the power button and you have quick access to vibrate, silence and sound and then when hitting the volume rockers you can adjust the sliders to control system, ringer and notification.
Any ideas on why I was able to control my ringer/notification volume via the rockers but now I cannot?
The volume settings are environment sensitive: if you're in a media app (includes all apps except dialler, ...) you get the media settings.
Homescreen should give you dialler. If not: are you using another launcher than stock?
You can set the other settings through the gear symbol in the on-screen volume display which pops up when pressing the volume rockers

Everything is stock on my phone. I've tried it within multiple different apps, and they all just allow for control of media volume, even the dialer.

Small man symbol, when pressing volume up/down buttons near to other controls

What does it control?
I mean this "man" on the Volume control

hands-free?
I doubt it, as you can press on this slider, then it becomes blue and you can move slider with volume control - only nothing changes to my mind
You have talkback turned on.
Thanks from me Pantaloonie!
You were very near - it was not TalkBack ( it's off on my phone), but next "Select to Speak" was on in Accessibility=>Audio

I would love and prob pay for such a mod. Also a widget or shortcut for the damn Google home devices volume sliders. But that's wishful.

It is working. There is option "Default to ring volume" and it works. Probably it is available only in paid version.

On Pixel Experience at least, when streaming to a Google Home, when you press the volume buttons, two sliders pop on the right side of the screen (Yes on PE they are on the right, not the left). One for the media, and a second for the "Cast" volume.
But on Oxygen, never found how to do this.
