Bluetooth kindda buggy - Motorola Droid RAZR

Hi all;
I have a scalarider G4. It´s a multifunctional BT headset for motorcycles. It works flawlessly on my old Atrix but now I´ve bought a Razr and this happens:
1 - I´ve got the two devices paired
2 - I put some music to listen on razr (so it play on the headdset)
3 - Someone call me on my phone, it hangs the music (OK) and when I hangup the call it doesnt come back to the music in fact, my headset freezes on the connection and the razr bluetooth just got unpaired. I have to reboot the headset to work again. Is there a razr known bug?
Tks

anyone with bluetooth media problems on 2.2+ roms

ok, this has been plaguing me and preventing me from switching permanently to 2.2 since the camera has been fixed.
the problem:
you pair your bluetooth device and connect. media works fine. then disconnect and turn off bluetooth and the bt device. turn everything back on, and media won't play through the bluetooth device.
the cause:
well, i have been using the same jabra sp700 for a few years now. worked great on all my devices (iphone 2g, iphone 3g, dream, various nokias and my x10 up to 2.1). well, apparently 2.2+ android requires a bluetooth device that supports avrcp or the avrcp handling of 2.2+ roms require avrcp to work on the bluetooth device. however, my sp700 (and i would imagine other older bt devices) either do not have this or it doesn't work as android wants it to.
the solution (tested multiple times, works sometimes, not others):
pair and connect, go into settings and disable "phone audio" for the bluetooth device.
kind of sucks since this is my car speaker phone, but i use it for media more than i use it for phone. but i have connected/disconnected several times and media is still playing through the bt and not the phone speaker.
so those who have bt media problems with 2.2+ roms, try this, it may work for you.
will this fix the problem? http://www.foogod.com/android/ ?
it is the same with MW600 headset on Wolfbreak's CM 6.1.3 0.54 ROM.
what happens for me:
both devices were paired in the past and remember each other. I turn on BT on the phone and power on the headset. press play in the music player - nothing plays, it hangs and come back to paused state.
when I press play for second time music comes from headphone speaker.
what helps:
stop the playback at this point. turn the headset off and on again. press play and the music should play through it. with both music headset and phone audio profiles active.
this is how I have to do it every single time. headset works normaly afterwards until you turn the BT off on the phone again. it's just a little inconvenience.
what troubles me more are the short gaps in the playback you get about every minute and when you turn the screen off.

does not work
what about the method I wrote about? I think it is the same problem.
power off/on your headset again when the music starts playing from the headphone speaker used normally for calls. every single time this happens it fixes this for me.

that was working on and off for me. sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
i made some modifications to the bluetooth audio.conf, will test those on my way home tonight.
no problems here with my bluetooth and i'm using wolfbreaks' 2.2 rom. i'm using a sony dr-bt50 headphones.
I've been having this problem with my headset too (hbh is800) and I'll try once I get back from home. Hopefully it works. I've tried the foogod link before and it never helped. I've been experiencing the bluetooth problem with my watch too (mbw 150) it connects and later it disconnects. and the cycle keeps repeating.
I have the same problem with dante-fu. I use Wolfbreak's CM 6.1.3 v0.54 ROM and MW600 headset. But turn on/off headset doesn`t help me sometimes and I have to re-pair devices.
I'm too having some problems with my mw600 head set.
Sometimes it does not play through the Bluetooth headset but through the speaker of the phone (it happens rarely)
But the most annoying thing is after a call, my headset just freezes & nothing works expect for the power button. Only solution is to turn the device of & turning on it again.
Using Wolf's 2.2 CM ROM
well, this sucks, i've tried changing all the media configs and nothing.
only solution i can think of is porting the bluetooth stack from 2.1 to 2.2.
back to 2.1 since my bt speaker is the only option for music in my car since my kid decided to deposit $.42 into my cd player.
Blutooth Media streaming problem
Hello,
Has anyone had any luck resolving this issue?
It's starting to drive me crazy. Bluetooth phone calls work perfectly but media streaming works intermittently.
Is there an easy way to replace downgrade the blutooth stack?
I am running CM 6.13

[Q] Notification\Alarm sounds over bluetooth

Every thread I have found relating to this dies out without a definitive answer. I have a droid x (currently running unrooted verizon gingerbread 2.3.3) and lg hbs 700 bluetooth headset. Music and phone calls work fine but alarm and notification sounds play over the phones speaker even when the bluetooth headset is connected.
Is there a way to get the system sounds to play over the bluetooth headset too (basically ALL sound is directed to bluetooth, just like if a wired headset was plugged in) or is this a limitation of the droid x, or the ROM, or the headset?

Problems pairing RAZR bluetooth with Alpine stereo

Droid RAZR Maxx, stock ROM, rooted.
I recently installed an Alpine CDE-HD137BT stereo in my car, which has quite a bit of bluetooth functionality. However, I do have quite a few issues connecting my Razr's BT with the Alpine.
-Sometimes the BT icon on the stereo will light up, and the BT icon on the RAZR will turn blue, indicating that they are paired. However, even though they showing as being paired and connected, it occassionally won't play any audio through the stereo (in fact, the audio will play through the RAZR's speaker). This some times happens with CALLS as well.
-Sometimes the two devices will connect fine, which then automatically causes my phone to start playing music from whatever music app was being used last; the music will play fine through the car stereo's speakers for maybe 20 seconds, followed by a shrill, loud, high frequency tone that only goes away by switching the source or by turning the radio off/on (by turning the car off/on).
-Sometimes the phone will pair perfectly to the stereo, and I make a call before listening to any music. The call is executed beautifully, but then following the call, audio will not stream through the stereo, nor will any subsequent calls work via bluetooth.
-(known problem) the specific Pandora fucntions on the stereo do not seem to work with this device.
Anyone else have the above issues? If so, what did you do to remedy them?
Thanks in advance!
never had those problems before but I now how pissy bluetooth between phones and radios can be, I had a pioneer AVIC D-3 with the BTB-200 bluetooth module. When I first got it I had to manually pair it each time and the problem was that when setting up the pairing I had to have the radio discover the phone instead of the phone discovering the radio or vice versa I can't remember but that solved almost all of the problems I had then, every once in a blue moon my current radio doesn't auto pair, but its not a huge deal as this one doesn't do A2DP audio streaming it only does the Hand Free Profile and text message alerts.

[Q] Problem with Bluetooth phone

Hello all,
I am having a problem getting the phone part of my new DNA to work with blue-tooth in my car. The A2DP works great but after I answer or make a phone call with my Car Stereo (eclipse 3200) I cant hear anything and they cant hear me. If I use the dial-pad on the phone to make a call I hear the tones from the button pushes but nothing after the call is connected.
Thanks for any help or suggestions

I have a Sony bluetooth player in my car and it will not even recognize the device.
Edit: It was a user error on my part. I have successfully paired and it works flawless.

My car recognizes and pairs with the DNA, but it will only play the first 1-2 seconds of music, then the radio stops receiving any audio. Sometimes it works properly and will play songs completely, but the majority of the time, it will cut out. I can pause and unpause it, and I'll get 1-2 seconds of music, then it stops again.
Also, any high pitched sounds (ie. cymbals, percussion, etc.) are very distorted. I had this same issue on the Thunderbolt The Galaxy Nexus I had for the past year had no issues and sounded perfect over bluetooth.
I am disappoint.

I think the phone just has bluetooth problems in general, or BT4 is just not 100% backwards compatible. I have a Pioneer stereo, and never had any problems with any of my android devices (OG Droid, Droid X, inc2 and gNex) connecting, but when I connect my DNA, it actually crashes the phone process on the handset and it restarts (the process, not the handset). It still appears to be connected to the stereo after that, but I haven't tried making a call yet.
Stereo doesn't support BT streaming, so I can't test that. Has an SD slot, and that's all I ever use.
I'm having the same problem. My music will play for about 3 seconds, then goes silent. The car says I'm still connected, Google Music is still playing, but it mutes out. Was having fun while driving hitting the pause/play button to listen to a song 3 seconds at a time. Does anyone know if this is a OS problem, hardware problem or incompatibility, or other problem? I didn't see many posts about this elsewhere and haven't heard back from Verizon.

Working fine for me with my Kenwood. Music does skip occasionally, but my other phones (galaxy nexus, thunderbolt) have done that too.

For all of us who suffer a HTC Toyota combo and the dreaded bluetooth pause issue I believe I have found the issue and got a working solution !
From what I gather, the HTC music player sets the bluetooth player state to pause when leaving the music player and most other apps do not set it back to streaming. I found one which does, so a simple solution !
1. Start and stop a piece of music with the Fplay music player and it will reset the bluetooth player state to streaming. I put a widget on the home screen.
2. Start your other apps and enjoy streaming sound again.
3. Enjoy

BT problem - Car audio system won't play ringtone

I recently connected my S3 (Mini, latest software) to a 2012 Nissan Qashqai and its Connect-system via Bluetooth. While my previous Nokia phones have worked perfectly with Nissan cars, my phone did not. There is no problems with calling or answering calls, and my contacts are automatically loaded to the car. The problem is that when a call comes, my phone plays my ringtone and the car's audio system plays an annoying and loud, generic ringtone. In other words, I get two separate ringtones when a call arrives to my car, one from my phone and one from my car's audio system.
I've tried to research this issue, and apparently I'm not the only Galaxy-owner suffering from it. Alas, I've found no solutions to this problem. I've found no settings for phone audio settings in the Nissan Connect menu and, similarly, I've found no settings for BT devices from the S3. As Nissan isn't the only car brand with this issue, I don't think I need to change my car.
Do you have any suggestion? Could there be a workaround or even an app that would help? Or is S3 and its BT-software simply incompatible with Nissan Connect, and there is nothing I can do about it?
