I made this theme to be Tron Legacy inspired, I hope you like it. I will be making this in other colors, starting with a CLU inspired version in a burnt orange/red color. I may take the color scheme of the new clockwork recovery. Then I will be making this in a green color, both Gingerbread green and a brighter green.

I'm working on a small theme to go with this, I'm having trouble with the gallery replicating images that are on the external sd-card. I don't know how to fix this.
That happens to me and others as well, something about when you flash, it wipes dalvik cache....it happens when flashing other themes also, not sure if that's even the real problem. However, there's an easy fix for it, so to me is not a big deal. I showed my buddy today, and he was quite impressed.
Thanks again.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
So what is the fix? To stop deleting dalvik-cache in the update-script?
Dude I don't know. I was reading that might be what's causing it- cause the phone scans media afterwords, and may double, triple, quadruple everything. One time I ended up from 75 photos to 525, in the same folder. If you search for the fix , you'll find it. It involves deleting a couple files with root explorer, then everything goes back to normal.

Looks great!! Rock'n it right now also.

Hey j0hnZ, this looks great. I was wondering, are you still working on the burnt orange swype?
No, I don't even use my Vibrant anymore.

Green Crush V1 release
(This is NOT a theme chooser theme! Flash in CWR)
UPDATE: This theme will work on EITHER the G2X or the Samsung Vibrant running Trigger build 8/16!!! This is tested and working!!!
I have decided to go ahead and release Green Crush version 1. I have gone through and touched just about everything in framework and systemUI to get the dark look and feel i was shooting for. I am also one that tends to like a nice melding of colors, so all things take a very smooth transition.
I will be adding a themed phone, contacts, MMS and calendar apks in the very near future.
A few touches added...
Corrected the date overlay so it no longer hides the status bar...
Accurate battery
Fly-in animations
Transparent pop-up menus
Button highlights
... blah blah
All the good basics...
Please note this theme is for Trigger 2x Build 15 8/16 (P999). As always, make a nandriod (But i have tested things and all is just fine).
Many many thanks to Romann and Annex from EDT!

A Review of Theme ALIEN GLOW v.51 for Eclipse 2.0 + By Android.Ninja
First off let me say that there are alot of developers / themers out there and this in no way discredits anyones work. It is simply my review.
ALIEN GLOW v.51 for Eclipse 2.0 + is a remarkable theme and once installed you can tell that time, care, and planning were put into place when this theme was born. The structure of the theme is evident right after a sucessfull install. Seeing the glowing green backgrounds, corners, borders, & dramatically glowing unlock screen icons almost illuminate an aroura of 3D effect.
The precision animations of "Flying Windows" give my X2 a new feeling , bringing every transistion and animation to life. The Framework, Moto, Blur, & System UI were themed immaculately giving the backbone of the structure a new lift.
The Keyboard is perfectly themed making it easily visible in all possible lighting situations.A perfect amount of aroura was supplied arround each character on the keyboard map, as not to distrurb the subtleness of the keys. This with the black background and green text, giver each character a clear neon glow.
The Contacts, Launcher, Calculator, and other various icons also deliver the same richness in the theme. Elegently delivering each tone of shade a radiant green glowing effect.
The font of choice is the Zerg system custom font. All I can say is "Well Done." This font is perfect for this theme. It gives you the alien type feel but delivers the crisp and raxor sharp image in each character and number displayed, that is sure to be the envy. It makes your X2 stand out, and that's no joke.
The dialer I think is my sencon favorite part of this well put together masterpiece. When incoming calls come, you get the full effect of the "glowing green on black" imaging this phone really deserves.
The Transistions of windows animitaions are just enought to bring new life to the X2. It doesn't overcome the phone or drown out the rest of the awesomeness this theme delivers. It's just enough to give a smooth transistion from the boring non animiation look of stock to the Area 51 precision that you will expect.
As for the install, It's the same as with any install. Pretty straight forward and to the point.
Screenshots are below. I give this theme a Android.Ninja Swords Up!

Nope, not a writer, (unless XDA needs one) A developer. But thanks!
It's a honest review of your theme. I have been developing for many years and while this is only my thoughts on the theme, I have a feeling that others will feel the same. Your theme work is excellent. Some of the best I have seen. Keep bringing it here, and I'll be glad to give it a review!
Truly good work!

I you are running the Keyboard supplied in Eclipse 2.0 + when you flash this theme it should overwrite and replace the keyboard.apk file. It wouldn't hurt to reflash. He also mentioned that you can wipe cache and Dalvik as an option. I would suggest this for sure. No need to wipe data, just the cache and Dalvik. Remember when you do this it may take a few seconds longer on the first boot however that will only happen once.
I installed this theme on the fisrt try, wiping cache and Dalvik and have had no problems at all.

Hi Mr_GreenJeans;
I wouldn't flash this over Eclipse 1.3.
You need to be on 2.3.5 running Eclipse 2.0 or above. If you flash on top of 1.3 you will get undesired results ending in a syncronus boot loop and will have to sbf to correct. The structure of 1.3. vs 2.0 and above will not match. This theme is designed only to run supported by Eclipse 2.0 or above.
When properly flashed on the correct version of Eclipse, this theme is fluid and impeccable. It will transform your X2 into a lean green alien machine with razor sharp imagery and astounding graphics.
Trust me.

I will make an update zip with a darker background for people who have white backgrounds to use.
The issue I'm having is my pulldown doesn't look like the one in the skull pics. My notification backgrounds are white as well as my letters so all I have to go on is the box and the icon for the quick settings. The actual pulldown is clear until i get a notification and its that background that is white. The only changes I've made to 2.5 is a little desensifying.... That wouldn't be the difference would it? Any chance you could repost the notification fix you had out for the previous theme? In my haste I deleted it before I installed 1.2.

I am not sure what exactly is happening. if you flashed over evrything It might not be playing nice. If you could tell me what files you took out for desensifing the rom that would help me out a lot in trying to fix this. I will post an update later that you can flash that might fix this. I am at work but when I get home later tonight I will post an update for this. I know this might be a pain but it would realy help me out, if you were to wipe and do a fresh flash of the rom and then flash the new theme to make sure it works right, and then desensify and see if that causes the problem or not. It might be a matter of the new theme did not flash over somthing nicely and you may need to do a fresh install. I will be on later tonight and will be able to do more then. sorry for the problems.
Not a problem.... I don't mind at all. And you don't owe me any apologies. You're the one contributing to the community. I really appreciate your efforts. Ill report back as soon as I get it all back on.
Thanks again for the response. Also, before I installed the latest I was running the previous release and it seemed fine. Not sure if it matters.

I tried it a couple different ways with no success...
Wipe, install rom, theme, and then desensed then boot. Lost the entire notification bar.
Then I wiped, installed rom, booted, installed theme then desensed and still no luck. This time I had the bar but still had white background and white text on the notifications. But the pulldown was transparent.
Lastly I did a full wipe then installed the rom then the theme and kept it totally stock and still had the same result
I have a screenshot but its not letting me post it

This is a theme for Peetr_'s HybridGBv20 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24574176&postcount=1 , I tried to give it a ICS look as closely as possibly since we won't be getting the much needed updated as we were told we would get. Yes, he made a lot of work on this.
I havent ever gone back in and flashed something after loading a locked rom. Do i just need to install and run bootstrap or do I need the whole gscript, busybox, and bootstrap deal? Cant wait to get this loaded! Thanks!
No need to wipe or install anything, apk's will be only replaced. Tested here and looks great, just some small issues.
Just loaded on v19 and it looks great. Thank you!

See Original Post.
I have been seeing a lot of app menus that have ended up black text on black backgrounds making them un-readable. Something to address.

Nice work Planters! I like the ICS themes for the menus and whatnot!

I have noticed it as well, do you have any specifics?
Just off the top of my head, ColorNote, creating a new note. Also when you decline an incoming call, the "text back" menu was "black/black"

I got black on black from the automatic text response box that comes up when you decline an incoming call. So far that's the only one I've seen.
Thanks for the helpful information, I will take a look at it and push out another version, stay tune
Found one more. I was in facebook in settings going to turn off location services for the messenger app, and it was black on black there as well. I don't know anything about how these themes are programmed, but figured I'd let you know. If there's a correlation between this dialogue box and the one I originally posted maybe that will help out. Once again thanks for the awesome theme!
