Hello,
I've just had a ViewPad 7e (not ViewPad 7), and win7 doesn't recognize it (as well as ADB doesn't see it connected). You can see it in the picture below.
Where can I get drivers for this tablet ? thank you in advance,

Yes, I would like to know if there are special drivers. Im not 100% convinced clockwork mod can be installed on the viewpad 7e.

I saw somewhere that there are drivers for win 7. Did you check on Viewsonic's support site?
Sent from my SPH D700 using XDA App
Cyanogen Mod 9.4, Shadow kernel, EI22. I like my Ice Cream Sandwich!

The only thing you can download off their product site, are PDF manuals.

Hey I have a ViewSonic VPAD10 that I picked up from a friend. It seems to have dual boot for Windows 7 and Android 1.7 i think.
Is there a way to install Android on the NAND, for example Honeycomb?
Also, does the ViewSonic ViewPad 7 applies to the VPAD10....for example the ROMS available?

Assumed you've search but missed the response, you would've learned to NOT do it but you could still try your luck & ask the folks at the Viewsonic 10" Tab sub-forum for what you wanted to believe in.

You need to read a bit more, and if you cannot find the instructions, you probably shouldn't do it at all. You can do this under windows 7, you just need those drivers.

Hello,
I'm having troubles to configure the path on windows 8 to use ADB on my laptop...
Can someone help me?
Install like you would on Windows 7. It was the drivers that were difficult for me.

How did you get HTC drivers working on windows 8? is there a guide somewhere?
I'm just getting setup with android dev again and I'm on win 8.1 because of the restrictions of developing on the windows phone 8 platform but I can't connect to my old HTC Desire Z for debugging etc. I've ordered a Nexus 4 (reading some of the threads here i might have some problems with it too) but I'll be unable to collect it for over 2 weeks. If i can get my HTC working in the next 4 days i can start developing right away.
After contacting HTC support, I was told that the drivers are part of HTC sync and "Please be advised that we are unable to know if and when HTC Sync will be available for Windows 8.". I tried the drivers that someone had extracted from the installer and posted here on the forum but no luck getting them to work. Any advice?

Also, do you have the driver to use adb with your device? If not let me know and I will boot up my PC to send you a guide I found on setting it up without the correct driver.

Hi Anthony !
And no, i haven't found the adb drivers ... when i plug the tablet on my pc it install three or four drivers but no one is adb ...
I have to say that's a very good product but the biggest problem is the weak of the underground comunity ... can't compare to samsung
So i'm absolutely not against a tutorial on how to install those adb drivers.
You're Amazing Anthony. Ok, that's a bad joke, ---->[]
