How to remove CWM Recovery on P500 - Optimus One, P500, V General

Hi, I want to know how can I remove CWM recovery before I install it if I need warranty services. I searched the forums but haven't found anything about Optimus One. Can you please help me?

If you flash stock rom with kdz or lgdmp you will have a stock phone again without cwm or any other recovery.

There was a flashable zip for ROM too somewhere but cant find it right now...
And recovery is attached below...didnt tested it though..
I found it over here Recovery

For rom, just make a backup with your new recovery and copy it to a safe place on your pc.

Quickest way to unroot

basically, my phone won't boot up normally. instead I have to enter recovery and flash a rom.
On TeamCooper Omega romv2 and wondering what was quicket way to get to unrooted status so I can get it compared? I was thinking Cm7, to stock Gingerbread and then unroot?
reflash stock rom. to make sure, reset to factory setting.
reflash stock rom with odin
if thats what u mean
and i think its unroot.zip file in sticky guide in development section
If your motive for unrooting is to get your phone to service centre, you also should flash stock recovery -- also available somewhere in development section.
unroot.zip does not seem to work for me am i mising something?

Flashing the stock firmware will also remove any root access on your phone.

No, I meant flashing stock using ODIN. You don't need to have recovery or a custom rom, just access to download mode.
If you flash stock rom with odin, your mobile will be back to the state it was when you bought it... no root access and no custom recovery

update firmware

after long way my phone is back to normal.... standard firmware 2.3.5 when i hooked him on my pc than tell kies theres an update and when i do it he goes to download mode..dowloading.....and restart in cwm. i take reboot and theres no update done so it try to update from the phone self....but no difference. what can be the problem?

*most probably* you would need stock recovery to install update through kies.. search a thread where there is flashable zip of stock recovery and flash it
as its booting into cwm [not tried method but looks same way]
Remove cwm too
And dont use ext4 stock rom
herpderp © aint got money to pay to my fish

Question on ClockworkMod Recovery

Sorry for the noob question. I just installed Rom Manager on my phone and it wants to automatically install Clockworkmod Recovery. Which is fine and dandy and I want that, but what if I want to restore to the original recovery if I have a hardware defect and I need to send it back to Samsung or Verizon???? Just curious!

You use Odin and flash the original recovery then flash the Stock Image file. I have those if you require them.

If you want CWM why cant you just install ROM manager and install CMW from there? CWM should install and replace TWRP with CWM.
Edit: and if that doesn't work I posted a link to MDK stock restore method in this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=49349378 Hope this helps.

If you have an MDK version with custom recovery and 4.3 installed then yes it will bring it back to MDK stock unrooted wiped. I've used it a couple times to get a clean start and rerooted.
Here's the same link to stock restore http://www.sxtpdevelopers.com/showthread.php?t=237

Yes your basically flashing stock firmware via Odin and bringing your device back to MDK the way it was when you bought it. It wipes everything.

You can't install CWM through ROM manager? It should override TWRP.

Lol that's true. all custom recoveries for our phone has time problem.
I have a flashify backup of stock recovery. its working perfectly on my grand 2 (sm-g7102).
I'm attaching it here.
I don't know whether this work on your phone. inform me if it works.
i have compressed it as a .tar file. download and extract it. u will find a file without any extension named stock recovery. then go to flashify choose recovery image and select this file. flash it. reboot.
Don't blame me if you brick your phone. Try on your own risk.
