Looks rockin, but appears it may have a big learning curve. Looks like it has a crap ton of interactions. Can't wait to try that.

that's awesome looking, it has a retarded amount of features and ways to modify the layout, it's gonna be a sick launcher.

This is gonna blow my mind on the Note. Thanks for sharing.

I watched videos of this UI 2 yrs ago before Blackberry bought the company, Tat UI I think. Guess the BB deal fell thru??

Yea i saw this a while ago it looks cool though

Thanks for the heads up, I'm really looking for a launcher to do separate portrait and landscape modes, I've heard of Sweeter Home 2 or ssLauncher, but really was hoping for a well know launcher to support this, any ideas?

Has anyone seen this thing work as a launcher? The video showed lots of set up stuff. With all the features and animation it might be laggy. I guess we'll see next week.

This is good code, wish it was out now. Will definately purchase.

on the 29th of this month

i bet this will be a huge battery intensive launcher although I do admit it does look pretty cool.

So the website is down now. Maybe to prepare for the launch?

Yeah, website not working for launch day. Oh well. Nothing really new but this launcher sure gives you everything in one package. Wow! It would be nice to take a look at it.

it will not come out until tonight stated on their blog so that might be this afternoon for us!

It's up for sale. $16.80!!!!
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.tsf.shell

yeah I dont know if I will be spending that on this... it has to be more resource intensive than the standard TWLauncher. if not I would be surprised.....

10 cent apps

If you didnt know.. There is a sale on the market . Ever day there are 10 apps for 10 cents each.
Today there is "swipe it" and "HD widgets" on there .
They are both awesome apps and well worth the $.10
Get them before they go back to full price!

It's an awesome event that Google is doing! Only downside I have seen alot of "repeat" apps so to speak. This is the 3rd of 4th time I've BW on the market for $.10.
Yeah they have the ad up on the main page of the market. I have done a couple and I agree there are repeats!!
Sent from my Rezound
Ya the repeats defeat the purpose kinda.. I have purchased almost all the apps so far. Can't beat the price lol.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using XDA App
yeah they keep giving us repeat apps & crap no one wants anyway.
so far the only cool thing i got was a game called Sentinel 3. freakin' addicting as hell

Yeah Sentinel 3is great! I also bought the Captain America game.
SwiftKey x. That's all.

Does Swift Key X support a Swype-style method of input?
I really like the theming and appearance of the Swift Key X keyboard, but I've been spoiled by Swype's ease of use.
i downloaded that paper camera, its pretty slick . makes neat facebook pictures lol
They're trying hard to sell some if these lol.
Sent from a Rezound, crappie camera included.
Grabbed SlideIT keyboard and ADW Launcher Ex a few days back. Not liking SlideIT so I'm going for SwiftKey
nope, swiftkey doesn't use swiping...slideit does though but that deals over lol

Bummer. I installed it anyway on a whim, and and I absolutely LOVE the blue skin.
Gotta have my Swype now though. Even Trace doesn't cut it anymore.

1Weather- Beautiful Weather App

Hey guys this is just a really awesome app for your weather forecast.
I saw this the other day via an AndroidPolice article here, I tried it and I really like it, completely fully featured and looks great.
So just a heads up I'm sure you guys will like this, and head over to the Market to install for your very own
Very cool! Looks great, it's good to see something different.

My one and only complaint so far is that it shows chance of precipitation but doesn't show the predicted amount, aside from.that it's pretty much perfect for me, also it doesn't have a 5 or 7 day forecast widget but I wouldn't want that anyway
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using Tapatalk
does it have ads that pop up? being free with no paid version i assumed it did.
edit: although i have adaway so guess i wouldn't see anyway.
Yeah the top does have the bar ads unfortunately, and what's adaway?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using Tapatalk
Thanks for posting! Nice weather app.
Thanks for sharing. I've been using Beautiful Widgets (paid version) for almost 1.5 years and absolutely love it. How does this compare to that?

Well as far as the widget goes, beautiful widgets is better looking but less informative I think, and the actual full forecast part I think 1 weather is much better, but try for yourself

Thanks for the input, and thanks to the OP for sharing. I downloaded and tried this out, but I'm partial to Beautiful Widgets. It's loaded with features, and I'm a creature of habit. 1weather is nice, but not for my needs. Thanks again for sharing.

Loving this thing!

Just got home from best buy, I LOVE this phone! Coming from sense, touchwiz isn't as bad as I thought it would be. A little clunky but that will be going away soon when we get a good ics rom. I was also surprised that the phone is so thin I can hardly feel it in my pocket.
Well that's my 15 min review, anyone else have any first impressions?

I just picked mine up from art. This phone is phenomenal
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
Gotta admit. I actually like TouchWiz more than stock. Huge fan of Samsung skinning- more helpful than obtrusive. Motoblur, however, is a different story.

[Q] Am I the only one?

That is left feeling kinda no so much let down but kinda eyyyh about this handset. I've already promised my ET4G to my brother in-law and I think im going to regret it. I knew the GS3 wasnt that much of an upgrade going in to this but the camera seems funky and NFC well google wallets not working on the device :silly: I just feel kinda blah about it ..... and moving off files from the ET4G it seemed to fit better in my hand and I miss being able to change the saturation on the screen modes.
It'll get better with customs Roms to be honest not liking stock at all. I really hope AKOP comes out for this phone. Fingers crossed

yeah im hoping the dev's will be able to tweak it to its full potential :fingers-crossed:
Coming from the ET4G on MIUI I am feeling the same way. I could have easily waited. If you flash the new touchwiz on the SII you won't miss much. The only thing Im banking on is taking pics while you record. I'm not sure if that's a hardware perk or not. So far I'm trying to sell myself on the new device. We will see!

I only wish the TW calendar widgets were compatible with another launcher as they did a much better job on those than stock ICS. Business Calendar is a good enough replacement though.
Hmm I'm in love with this phone, maybe because I had the old, and kind of slow s3 processor in my T-Mobile s2, and a non HD screen

People are so funny! This is one of, if not the best phone out! Damn wait until the roms get going before you ungrateful f$$ks get to crying.

When AOKP and CM9 and various roms come out for this phone (which I have high hopes they will) the phone will feel rebirthed.
I enjoy it now, but I've never been a fan of TW or samsungs skins. Still though, it's a huge upgrade for me; Coming from a Nexus S.
Agree once Cm9 and others get going this phone will fly especially with the 2 GBs of ram

It's a big jump from my Nexus S 4G.

Just Flash It !!!
I had the s2 and I feel it is an upgrade. More ram, 1.5ghz, slightly larger screen, this radio has performed better than my s2, lte soon, and not that it matters much but when was the last time your s2 hit 5000 on quadrant while running stock. This phone also feels a lot smoother

I came from the Samsung Vibrant and this is a nice upgrade for me. Very excited. The first thing that went was TW. I'm running Nova launcher on mine. (it installed automatically as it got synced with my account).
The only thing that I am missing is the Ubuntu for Android. I wonder if CM team will look into implementing it with some of their builds. That would be sweet!

Anyone use GoLauncher with Jelly "Beans"

Has anyone tried using them together? If so did they play nicely? I really like some of the features of GoLauncher, but on stock it seemed to slow my phone down quite a bit. Thinking about giving it another go, but decided I would see if anyone else has first.
GoLauncher (and all Go apps) are really bloated now, which is unfortunate because I used to love their SMS app and launcher. If it was laggy for you on stock it probably won't be much better on Beans. I would look into Nova.
I agree with the guy above. I would never use another "GO" product again. if you install any of them it also installs dozens of adds and click through links to the other products. Also it will just seem to make your phone come to a crawl.
Next launcher is pricey but its really nice. And the updates come faster then ROM updates. Great support and a lot of free themes now

I had never heard of it before but it looks really nice!
$15.99 is a bit of a steep price tag for a launcher but if it exceeds at what it does and isn't filled with bloat I'd say its worth it.

I took a look at Next Launcher, and its made by the "Go Launcher dev team"
It looks like it is not too bloated yet, but I 100% guarantee that it will be soon enough.
Check it out if you like, it is $15.99 tho!

Yeah its pricey but they have easily put in at least that much work into the launcher so far. Disliked it when it came out but man oh man has it improved. I've uses their free services for years. They earned that price tag IMO.
