1Weather- Beautiful Weather App - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

Hey guys this is just a really awesome app for your weather forecast.
I saw this the other day via an AndroidPolice article here, I tried it and I really like it, completely fully featured and looks great.
So just a heads up I'm sure you guys will like this, and head over to the Market to install for your very own

Very cool! Looks great, it's good to see something different.

My one and only complaint so far is that it shows chance of precipitation but doesn't show the predicted amount, aside from.that it's pretty much perfect for me, also it doesn't have a 5 or 7 day forecast widget but I wouldn't want that anyway
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using Tapatalk

does it have ads that pop up? being free with no paid version i assumed it did.
edit: although i have adaway so guess i wouldn't see anyway.

Yeah the top does have the bar ads unfortunately, and what's adaway?

Thanks for posting! Nice weather app.

Thanks for sharing. I've been using Beautiful Widgets (paid version) for almost 1.5 years and absolutely love it. How does this compare to that?

Well as far as the widget goes, beautiful widgets is better looking but less informative I think, and the actual full forecast part I think 1 weather is much better, but try for yourself

Thanks for the input, and thanks to the OP for sharing. I downloaded and tried this out, but I'm partial to Beautiful Widgets. It's loaded with features, and I'm a creature of habit. 1weather is nice, but not for my needs. Thanks again for sharing.

Best weather app?

What weather app do you guys think is the best? I am wanting to find a cool 3D weather app but I do not want to install a bunch of crap while looking for a decent one.
Beautiful widgets is always a really nice one. Not only that but it's very customizable to your preferences and such. Or in my experience Palmary weather pro is another good one.
Hopefully you can get some other opinions as well.

Beautiful widgets is what I use and well worth the $3

I appreciate the replies. I will give those a shot and see which one I like the best.
I picked up weatherbug when it was being offered free on Amazon's app store (they can call it that now, take that apple!). Can't say its indispensable but it does a pretty good job for what it it....

Man, when was that? I must've slept through that deal.... I would've gotten it.
I purchased Beautiful Widgets and I am very impressed so far. Well worth the $3 I spent.
I think Fancy Widget Pro is a good one. I picked it up from amazon when it was a free app of the day. You can also can get choose from many different skins to make very customized. It works with weather bug to get its info.

Looks rockin, but appears it may have a big learning curve. Looks like it has a crap ton of interactions. Can't wait to try that.

that's awesome looking, it has a retarded amount of features and ways to modify the layout, it's gonna be a sick launcher.
This is gonna blow my mind on the Note. Thanks for sharing.
I watched videos of this UI 2 yrs ago before Blackberry bought the company, Tat UI I think. Guess the BB deal fell thru??
Yea i saw this a while ago it looks cool though

Thanks for the heads up, I'm really looking for a launcher to do separate portrait and landscape modes, I've heard of Sweeter Home 2 or ssLauncher, but really was hoping for a well know launcher to support this, any ideas?
Has anyone seen this thing work as a launcher? The video showed lots of set up stuff. With all the features and animation it might be laggy. I guess we'll see next week.
This is good code, wish it was out now. Will definately purchase.

i bet this will be a huge battery intensive launcher although I do admit it does look pretty cool.
So the website is down now. Maybe to prepare for the launch?
Yeah, website not working for launch day. Oh well. Nothing really new but this launcher sure gives you everything in one package. Wow! It would be nice to take a look at it.
it will not come out until tonight stated on their blog so that might be this afternoon for us!
It's up for sale. $16.80!!!!
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.tsf.shell
yeah I dont know if I will be spending that on this... it has to be more resource intensive than the standard TWLauncher. if not I would be surprised.....

Purchasing nova launcher

Is there any convincing reason to buy the paid form? Is it smoother or just has the gestures feature? I only ask cause its a little pricey

Supporting the dev, the gestures as you mentioned, the ability to hide apps from the app drawer, and more scroll effects.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using XDA Premium.
Ah more scroll effects. Thanks. That made up my mind. Def worth getting now. I love supporting devs, its not that. Just making sure its worth it. Four bucks is a pricey launched, for good reason but still haha

For whoever would like to know, very glad I bought it. Seems faster then the free version unless that is just in my head. New screen change effects are sweet
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
Check out the swipe up on a dock icon feature. On my dialer icon, I can swipe up from its and it calls my wife. Swipe up on the map to access navigation. Pretty sweet feature.
I like the swipe down. I hide the status bar with it, and can swipe it down when I need it. Sick feature

Overskreen is the freaking boss. Bought it and absolutely in love with it. AirCalc and GotYa (by the same company) are absolutely GOLDEN as well. Thanks for sharing.
I do have to admit though. The video playing while on the navigation screen is quite terrifying. Lol. At least they are apparently not on a freeway. Lol.

Anyone use GoLauncher with Jelly "Beans"

Has anyone tried using them together? If so did they play nicely? I really like some of the features of GoLauncher, but on stock it seemed to slow my phone down quite a bit. Thinking about giving it another go, but decided I would see if anyone else has first.
GoLauncher (and all Go apps) are really bloated now, which is unfortunate because I used to love their SMS app and launcher. If it was laggy for you on stock it probably won't be much better on Beans. I would look into Nova.
I agree with the guy above. I would never use another "GO" product again. if you install any of them it also installs dozens of adds and click through links to the other products. Also it will just seem to make your phone come to a crawl.
Next launcher is pricey but its really nice. And the updates come faster then ROM updates. Great support and a lot of free themes now

I had never heard of it before but it looks really nice!
$15.99 is a bit of a steep price tag for a launcher but if it exceeds at what it does and isn't filled with bloat I'd say its worth it.

I took a look at Next Launcher, and its made by the "Go Launcher dev team"
It looks like it is not too bloated yet, but I 100% guarantee that it will be soon enough.
Check it out if you like, it is $15.99 tho!

Yeah its pricey but they have easily put in at least that much work into the launcher so far. Disliked it when it came out but man oh man has it improved. I've uses their free services for years. They earned that price tag IMO.

I won't touch a GO product.
