The title pretty much says it all --
the screenshots I'm taking are 1mb in size! Any way to change that?
What do you expect from a 1280x800 PNG file? Mine are 800kb and when compressed as jpg much smaller.

I just want to know why I cant save picture that I take with my vibrant as my wallpaper IN FULL SIZE! I have lots of pictures with me and my family, my girlfriend, plays I have been in etc. I want be able to have them ad my background without having to crop half of it and make them blurry.

Its because the stock launcher has multiple screens and a certain resolution that the pics don't match. Some wallpapers will crop full size as long as its the same resolution which I don't think are camera has.

I've seen a lot of different specs for icon sizes on Android (48x48, 72x72, 96x96, etc...)
What is the correct and ideal icon size for the Atrix? I'm speaking for display on the apps list, dock, etc...
Everything I've seen from the .apk files points to 72x72. I've made a few at that resolution and they work/look great

Thanks. I did some experimenting, and I compared the exact same icon at (somewhere between 72 x 72 and 96 x 96) vs 256 x 256. The 256 x 256 was noticeably better. It had better sharpness and color saturation.
As a result, I'll be using that for all my icons and hope it doesn't slow anything down.
I love my gs2 but i have a really big gripe about the pictures from facebook. Viewing the same picture on my missus sensation it seems of much lower quality. Is there a setting i need to select to download high res pics? Both pics were downloaded using wifi so its not my carrier shrinking them down.

Let me try to answer you,
The Sensation has higher resolution (qHD) than the SGS2 (WVGA).
therefore, Facebook (or any other) pics will be more Fine on the Sensation, because they are not been maximized to fit the screens.
So, its normal.

The subject says it all, I need an app thats able to resize png files. Tried JT resize, pic pro and they resize very bad.
They dont seem to be able to resize smoothly and I get jagged edges in images
Suggestions?

So im looking for an app that can set my whole image as the wallpaper not just the middle. An app that lets you set the whole image as your wallpaper

hmmmm
i think that there isn't a way... try Image 2 Wallpaper, Wallpaper Wizardrii, Crop Wallpaper, AutoResizeWallpaper
you can reduce the size to fit your resolution, it should be 720*1280 for Horizontal and 1280*720 if you want it as the original you post, but it will reduce the quality
you can rotate vertically using paint!.. for me the best solution
can you post the original?
