Well it just says not uninstalled... Is there a way to uninstall it by deleting some files with A root file manager
Inviato dal mio GT-I9100 usando Tapatalk
Yes it is but I can't remember where your installed apps are stored, try google

Anyone know where apps install??
I checked the /system/app directory but it is not there.
Go check data/apps/ have you also tried to remove it with titanium backup
Sent from my sgs2 running cm9 using xda app
Is data/apps located in sd card or / ?

No on root, get root explorer or a similar root manager and then you can access the root folder.

Make sure it isn't a device admin (settings, securoty, I think) and then try to uninstall under applications or the market.

tryed what you guys suggested but i still cant remove this go locker application.. its not in one of those folders
where exactly and what is the name of go locker you got
Why don't just download Titanium Backup (the free one(not pro)) and test it first before messing around in / folder

What I ended up doing on my Xperia Play was downloading Go Uninstaller. It uninstalled Go Locker for me just fine. Then the standard Android uninstaller didn't have any problems uninstalling Go Uninstaller. Yes. I know it's a PITA but at least it's gone now so I don't have to unlock my screen twice.

How do I unflash gapps? Someone recommended I installed it so I did and now I have 2 of some apps and gmail force closes. Everything worked fine before I flashed it so now I'm wondering, how do I unflash it?
Remove the apk files of gapps from /system/app
I suggest clearing data of them before deleting apks.
Root uninstaller
Are you using the latest version (for 2.3.5/2.3.6/2.3.7) ?

I opened the gapps.rar and checked the apps in it then removed them one by one using root explorer. Had some problems after removing a few so I flashed them back and now everything works.

Thanks

There is no mms.apk in the rom. You need to maunally push it. All the system apps apk are provided by the developer also

Use Root explorer/browser or similar file manager then browse to /data/app folder and see if any old files pertained to those apps which ur facing diffculty in installing exsists if so delete them and then try
when I go to the address you said I only see apps not a temp file of last version or something like that, it only shows me apk files which if I uninstall I wont be able to install new or same old version is there any other place I should check ??

Ok, updated my phone to the first nightly build on cm11, everything is working fine except for the fact that I cant modify system apps or files although im rooted.
Eg. I cant replace bootanimation.zip
Eg.2 I cant uninstall a system app
Is this a problem with the rom or what?!
Reminder: I AM ROOTED!!

What are you using to remove apps ???and how .
Are you just trying to remove the apk in a root explorer? If so does /system have the correct permissions?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
I tried to use the following apps from the play store:
1.Root app delete
2.Clean master
Both failed to work as root app delete says that I am not rooted, and clean master fails to uninstall a system app although I granted it root permission.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
And also I forgot to mention that root browser does not let me delete system apps despite the fact that I granted it root permission. I tried solving this issue by reinstalling busy box but that did not work either.
Sorry if I'm posting this on the wrong form, I'm new here

Rom toolbox also fails to remove system apps - however simply deleting them with root explorer works fine (after which, I use SD maid to clear up any corpses).
