I tried this with the virtuous rom and could'nt get it to work. God thing I backed up my original SystemUI.apk. Idk if I did something wrong but I have tried the serenity theme and that also does not work with this rom but I had serenity working fine with the stock rom.

I'm a derp - Virtuous is deodexed, my file system is odexed. Give me like 15 minutes to make one that'll work with deodexed roms.

Just root.
I'm going to try to make it only require root for as long is it is convenient. Once it gets to replacing, say, 3+ separate things I'll make it require CWM.

Thanks for this mod. Finally I got read of purple and Asus navigation button!!
It would be fantastic to have the icons replaced to match ICS in the quick settings menu (Settings, Wifi, BT, Sync.....) like Serenity, that is a NOGO for me as it require to be installed via recovery.
The apk method is indeed much appreciated as I do not want to unlock my Prime and loose warranty of a not so reliable device!!

I just updated to 9.4.2.21 and I miss the default icons and the black quicksettings panel. Attached is the new SystemUI.apk if it strikes you to update it . I noticed there may be 2 quicksettings panels to change to black (there is a simplified version accessed from the lock screen which does not show the setting toggles nor brightness slider).
I hope you fix this up again so that it works with the .21 update. I really liked this little mod and miss not having it.

That plus different unlock/silent slider icons too. The gingerbread blue sliders don't go too well with this awesome theme...

Okay, I figured out how to change the little 3g/4g/H+ icons however I am having a hard time finding matching 4G icons, if someone can find the 4g ones that match the 3g ones I can do it. The sliders are easy too.
Just have to find the matching framework/systemui apk's that contain the images.
Edit: I found icons that match however they are too small. :-( The ones I have are 25x25 (MDPI) and they need to be 38x38 (HDPI)
Finally figured it out!
Found the right images and got rid of the 3g/4g/h icons included in the systemui.apk
To install copy the new systemui.apk to /system/app and overwrite the old one using Root Explorer or any other file manager.
Restart because you'll probably get a force close for the systemui.apk
When it boots back up set the permissions on systemui.apk to RW-R-R then reboot a second time and voila it will work!
Here are 3 screenshots that prove it!
I am not responsible if you **** your **** up and obviously credit goes to the OP for whipping up this amazing theme.

If NottachTrix's ROM v1.3.1 is deodexed, why - when I flash this, does device cycle into a reboot loop immediately after showing "preparing SD card".
UPDATE: I tried several more times...only to end up re-flashing 1.3.1 (full-wipe).
wtf am I either missing or doing wrong here?

I saw that the new HTC One X had the transparent status bar, and I thought it look really nice to be able to see whatever background you have on through the bar. Thanks for your time. Does this Mod work for v1.4?
After I flash it on recovery, the phone works for maybe 5 seconds and then it boot loops, works for another 5 secs and boot loops. The only way to get out is to flash my nandroid backup.
Am I doing something wrong? It shoud just be flash and go right?

If it doesn't work on 1.4 then don't use it.

yea, u can also just pull the one.png from my .apk and put in the v1.4 if u want updated .apk

It was not part of the selection over at UOT. It is using the stock 4G lte. If you point me to a theme that does I will figure out how to incorporate them

You know I do not know why mine are green. I did not edit that when I made the update selections. Perhaps we are on different version of the TCP rom.

A dumb question but I have to ask, I have my phone set to be my alarm and so the ICON is on the screen. Do you have any alarms set? Try to set one to go off in the next hour or so... Just asking/checking.
There is not feasible way you would have different ICONs than I do. We will figure it out.

Ok here is what i have. And i just rebooted and noticed bars are wipe again lol. I gave no idea what's going on and when i came back to tpc i did a back to stock and wipe and all that fun stuff and the re-flashed this. Ok here is the pic and alarm

Sorry here is the screen I am sure it is my phone that is causeing the problems cause i have flashed so much stuff in the last week and going back and forth from the 2 roms out there that i am going back to 100% stock tonight and reflashing again with more care LMAo did i say more care hehehe, O well so ill do that first before you try to solve this anymore cause i bet its my phone. Hey XDA,
Just threw together a little mod for the Prime. All I did was change the background of the quicksettings panel from that weird blue/purple color to a clean black. The mod is based on Virtuous Prime 9.x.x.15 v1 but should work on other versions of Virtuous and the stock ROM. I have not confirmed this though, so have a backup ready if you do flash on anything but Virtuous .15 v1!
DISCLAIMER: I have personally tested this mod on my Prime and confirmed it works, but I am not responsible for any and all thermonuclear wars and/or bricked Primes you may create because of this! Flash at your own discretion!

Basically changing all the honeycomb blue to ICS cyan, and then I still have to draw the quicksettings icons myself, but that would be a start.
I shouldn't even ask, it's just that I'm in my new ubuntu drive syncing source trees for interesting builds.

Also, how did you get eight quick toggles to actually show up in the status bar? I checked the "8 quick toggles visible" option in Deluxe Settings, but I still only see the original five (wifi, Bluetooth, gps, silent mode, screen rotation)...?

You mean just the icons? Thats no problem. What do you think about the blue color? Im thinking maybe its too dark... may cook a lighter version, what did you have in mind?

I don't remember how I got all 8. I think I had to add them in horizontal orientation for them to fit before it worked in portrait mode...

Hmmm, where exactly did you add them from though? I can't find any place it lists them to choose from...?
Deluxe settings/Edit quick settings panel.
Just click the ones you want to use

I saw that, thank you! Unfortunately, I had to revert to a TPC ROM nandroid backup for the time being after my Saurom rc3 install imploded for no good reason today. I plan to drop your icons in next weekend when I have time to wipe and reinstall Saurom. Thanks again!
As long as you have a backup, maybe you can flash on top of TPC's ROM and let me know if it works..?

Don't know if this has been asked already but, I have rooted my note with the overclocked kernel, also I've added CW mod can I use this theme or do I have to add a rom first? Thanks!

As long as you have a Clockwork Mod installed, you can (and should) make a nandroid backup, then flash this. If it doesn't work, you can always restore your backup...
