Thank you very much for all of your hard work, it looks great. I was just curious if it's possible to make the actual status bar itself transparent. I saw that the new HTC One X had the transparent status bar, and I thought it look really nice to be able to see whatever background you have on through the bar. Thanks for your time. Just replace the png with a transparent one and name it the same

And if you have photoshop you can use it to make it transparent or find the Rom from that pic and pull it out of there

Does this Mod work for v1.4?
After I flash it on recovery, the phone works for maybe 5 seconds and then it boot loops, works for another 5 secs and boot loops. The only way to get out is to flash my nandroid backup.
Am I doing something wrong? It shoud just be flash and go right?

You are doing something wrong.

I emphasis v1.3...
If it doesn't work on 1.4 then don't use it.
I will update the MOD for you though..
Any way this will work or can you make one to work with clean ROM 4.3?

as a second confirmation, the SMS blue zip works on 1.4 as well. i flashed that to get rid of the bright green, and it's working great.

yea, u can also just pull the one.png from my .apk and put in the v1.4 if u want updated .apk

Can someone hook this up for me please. I would take the stock green one but blue is oh so sexy. I have my phone setup the way I want it and need this to complete me lol. If you could, could you also remove the clock off of the bar as well? Thank You!

Here you go! I could only get you the green color (if empiire makes a blue one, I'll get it for you); just flash in recovery I tested and it worked for me. Make sure you wipe cache/dalvik. Also, when you flash it in recovery, disregard the fact that it says Advanced reboot menu.... I'm too lazy to change it.
Edit: Can you flash it and tell me how it worked for you?

This is exactly what I've been looking for. It's hard to find the stock notification bar without someone making a thousand other unwanted changes. Thanks man!

Let me know what text color(primary & secondary), background color, notification background & selected color, statusbar color, ICS status bar icons(wifi, signal bars...), clock color...

No problem just give me a little bit(i just flashed chingy's new rom to try it out) I'll have it done soon. Just one thing, on ICS the notification font doesnt change color so when you click on it the blue text will blend in to the background. Is that alright?

I saw that, thank you! Unfortunately, I had to revert to a TPC ROM nandroid backup for the time being after my Saurom rc3 install imploded for no good reason today. I plan to drop your icons in next weekend when I have time to wipe and reinstall Saurom. Thanks again!

As long as you have a Clockwork Mod installed, you can (and should) make a nandroid backup, then flash this. If it doesn't work, you can always restore your backup...

Ehmm to the risk of sounding like a total idiot, I just flashed that zip I picked up

As long as you had all your settings in the UOT Kitchen right, it should flash outright. Did you select emmc in the settings? I believe it defaults to mdpi. That will get you a bootloop everytime.

I've honestly tried all the options..Phone just freezes on startup. I didn't see emmc in the settings. I do see mdpi hdpi or ldpi??
Any other way to just manually do my own icons? I just want PINK lol..not blue

You're a savior!!! I just only wanted icons showing pink really. I like a pink theme. This shade of color #EEBBBB That's it If there really (and in no way necessary) needed to be another shade for other options #38042E. But again, I'm mainly interested in those status bar icons to change the color
I was having a retarded moment earlier. hdpi is what you want. For future reference, under the file upload tab make sure updater script type is EMMC.

Those look good but if that pink shade is used in background then icons wouldn’t show. Was hoping for icons of that color

I didnt have a chance yet to test the universal on an odex rom. Can someone do it and report back?
I've attached a few things here that I did up quick, mostly for myself but if you want to use them, feel free.
They are for Deodexed stock roms only.
This first one replaces the GPS reticle in the status bar with a one pixel wide transparent image. It can be found here:

Hey bro, I got rid of the e911 (location) icon through smali and it leaves no weird gaps. Don't wanna start a new thread for it, so feel free to use it.

this is for stock....deodexed, do you want stock odexed?? I can probably do that if i have some time tonight. In fact now that i know vrtheme works, I'll just make a universal one for all roms. Give me a bit to do it.
Here is a universal version for all touchwiz roms. It doesnt replace the apk, its just a two image push so it should work. I didnt get to test it yet though.
Can someone test this on an odex rom and report back??

Could you help me do this? I'm not familiar with using smali. Maybe a step by step guide? I would like the gps icon removed without having the gap. Thank you
Edit: Nevermind I flashed in recovery and gps icon is gone. Thank you so much.

I take it this was for Deodex only? Didn't work with stock root.
Edit: Yea looked at zip. Deodexed guess tonight I'll get to downloading a deodexed rom.
