Icon customizations - myTouch 4G Themes and Apps

Could anyone tell me what exactly do I need to edit to change icon colors on status bar? I'm using zipsnet ics rom.

Have you tired UOTKitchen? It's a really cool online theme creation engine that allows you to modify all kinds of things.

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier u can use the kitchen or use this editor http://greenfish.cixx6.com/ let me know what other things specifically that u might need or a guide I'll be glad to help

I tried kitchen, but got that error when picking up. On zips ROM, I'm only supposed to change the framework, correct? Or do I do systemUI as well?

After several attempts (was getting SHTF errors), I was able to download the zip. However after flashing it, I got stuck on the logo screen
What is it that I'm doing wrong? I reverted back to what I had for the moment. But really am trying to get these colors working grrrrr lol

You exracted the apk, did ur changes and then zip it,back unsigned?

Ehmm to the risk of sounding like a total idiot, I just flashed that zip I picked up
I gather that wasn't what I was supposed to do?

As long as you had all your settings in the UOT Kitchen right, it should flash outright. Did you select emmc in the settings? I believe it defaults to mdpi. That will get you a bootloop everytime.

I've honestly tried all the options..Phone just freezes on startup. I didn't see emmc in the settings. I do see mdpi hdpi or ldpi??
Any other way to just manually do my own icons? I just want PINK lol..not blue

You're a savior!!! I just only wanted icons showing pink really. I like a pink theme. This shade of color #EEBBBB That's it If there really (and in no way necessary) needed to be another shade for other options #38042E. But again, I'm mainly interested in those status bar icons to change the color

I was having a retarded moment earlier. hdpi is what you want. For future reference, under the file upload tab make sure updater script type is EMMC.

Those look good but if that pink shade is used in background then icons wouldn’t show. Was hoping for icons of that color
