[Q] I kill my WT19i! Please help! :( - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

I was having problems because I put it a lot of stuff and flashed some zip files to change stock fonts, etc I do everything right but I noticed It was getting laggy so I flashed with Wotanserver, but it failed! And now I try to update but I think the battery is empty, and I connect the charger, and it doesn't turn on the battery not even the green light, so I dont know what to do! I think it's dead!

Nevermind, I connect the charger even when the battery icon didn't appear and i noticed an image with the phone an a ! sign appear so I updated it with PC Companion and its ok now. It has .62 fw but maybe later I downgrade again to .58 to have root. I will just quit now from everything related to moding my phone. xD
BTW. Does someone knows where can I get .58 fw file .ftf?? I want to flash it via flashtool, but i can't find the file! :/

Hello! I tried to make the latest update and although everything was going good suddenly appeared a false message! I pressed retry but always the same message! I took out the battery and tried again but nothing happened! I tried updatin through pc companion and seus, same message everywhere! I also tried to repair the software with above programms without mindin if i lose something but again the same! The only thing that my phone does is charging (light is green) and when i press the power on button it makes a vibration but nothing more! I called se and they told me to try in a differnet pc but again nothing happened! I 've taken out sim card and sd card also! Any more ideas to avoid se service?

Read the how to flash tutorials.
Which flash tool?
Try SEUS repair.
What do you mean by "then i put the sin files"?
What was the flase message?
Well i found he solution! Here's what i did!
1) I used x10flasher.bat which i found in this forum wih the latest firmware
2)Then i erased the files from Crogram Files/Sony Ericsson/Update service/db/13740270/blob_fs
3)Run SEUS and everything was ok!
Thanks for your answers!

SEUS cannot repair phone

didnt see anything on this so i started a new topic...
but my x10 is haveing issues so i tried to repair via SE PC Companion, but the repair function doesnt seem to work, as i get... "An error has occurred and the phone software update was aborted"
and with the SEUS Update i get ... "The installation failed"
ive also tried flashtool, but the flashing of FW 435 fails @ amss_fs.sin stage..
Did i actually end up bricking the phone and have to send it for warranty?
unless i am missing something... any help would be appreciated
Flash with flashtool 0.2.8 and one stock rom, for example most recent, 2.0.1.b.1, my x10 brick yesterday too, I flash by this way.. regards..

i used flashtool 0.2.91 , and the most recent FW too, the b.1 and still have the same issue @ the amss_fs.sin step
I had this problem once and I fixed it by flashing only the baseband back to the the phone

Did u try flashing baseband on flashtool 0.2.8 . Were u
using a custom Rom before I had the same problem when I use jrepal 7.0.1 Rom when try seus my phone
would get the error and was stocked at se logo

yeah i tried flashtool 0.2.8 and still have same issue with the amss_fs.sin file..
try to flash the kernel.sin only from flashtool 0.2.91
Since today (I just realised it today so maybe since couple of days ago) the repair button doesn't even appair for me in the SEUS.
No repair in my seus. it just say I have newest software.
are SE black listning phones whit custom ROM ?
I have a similar problem, phone just wont turn on. SEUS doesnt give me a repair option. Then flashtool always gives me error and then aborts. And when i leave the battery out for at least 24 hours, then plug charger into phone w/o battery, then put battery in 10mins later, it starts up. goes straight to Xrecovery. Reboot and it turns on. but eventually it just turns off again to the point i cant turn it on again. so frustrating. I really think the phone is done for...

Fota unbrick

Here is something to repair your bootloader after a FOTA update and phone iIn the package you have flash tool and the files you need.
Just unzip to a folder and then use flash tools.
The needed files are in the right folders.
After this you should have your phone fully back for a fresh rom install.
Use wotanserver to flash a full custom rom of your choice.
http://www.mediafire.com/?h2dwrz18mujx765
it exactly for these files
is compatible with other firmware?
file (Xperia_2011_Range_FreeXperia_ALL.ftf) that function does?, I think that fixes an error
for all xperia range
Please can you explain better for neophytes, as I understand many do not
There´s not much to explain, this .sin and ftf files repair the damage bootloader and the trim area.
If you ´re unable to start phone after a fota update with unlocked bootloader.
Just plug the phone and connect it pressing back button in your xperia neo and press flash on the flashtool. And voila you have you phone live again.
Thanks, now if I understand it, since I have opened the bootloader release your contribution if you ever need it
regards
TNX
It works!!! TY!!!
It´s good to be helpfull man, fota brick is a serious issue. I´m glad to share this. Don´t forget to click on thanks buttom.
Thank you very much for this. It helped me to restore my brothers Neo that got screw-up after unsuccessful FOTA update.
Tried it on my MT15i NEO that got bricked after FOTA yesterday, but doesn't work for me.
I managed to get the 2 files flashed, after, i use wotan to restore latest firmware.
When I try to turn the phone on after this process, only red led flashes 3 times.
SEUS and SE Companion tells me I have software that isn't updatable.
Any other idea's to get my phone back alive?

If you flash the files and wotan recognises your phone and flash´t then your phone is ok.
Try to flash´t first with any 2.3.2 stock rom.
Just used wotan to flash 2.3.2 - 3.0.A.2.181 ROM, but problem stays the same.
After pressing the power button, only the led flashes red 3 times and nothing else happens.
Starting in flash programming mode is difficult too(the back button while connecting the USB). I guess 1 time in 50 tries I get a green led and flashing begins, other times it's just a quick red blink and unrecognised USB device.
I can't access the fastboot blue led mode anymore too (holding menu while connecting USB)
Are there some other options that I can try?
Edit:
Finally got it working after leaving the phone alone to the laptop for half an hour.. Phone just started to boot out of itself.. Very slowly.. it stayed on the SE boot logo for about 5 minutes. After restart and upgrade to latest stock with companion; it works okay again.
Thanks for helping me out!
I´m glad your phone is back, try to update it normally now to 2.3.4 and see if the blue lite is back.
Give us here in forum your feedback because this may be helpfull to other users.
I updated to 2.3.4 with SE companion software already and all seems to work okay!
Just tested the blue led/fast boot mode and it works again too.
This is the first and last time i'll do a FOTA upgrade without reading the forum!
Thanks again

hello
i bricked my neo v by flashing a wrong kernel
i downloaded fota unbrick and opened flash tool. it says i should hold the back button while connecting the usb but when i do so the led becomes green. nothing else happens! the phone doesn't turn on, flashtool doesn't recognize it, and the screen doesn't turn on. the led just stays green!

Its "soft-brick" state.
Didnt you have some problems with usb before?

Even if phone shows up error triangle you should be able to use standart flash mode.
About fastboot dont know, never used it.

No problem, it could be done, but not so simply. I did rooting and xrecovery installation without Flashtool many times since Flashtool werent possible torun on Linux
Root could be done with exploit zergRush; but try SuperOneClick first. It will take some time root it completely manual.
Same with xrecovery, but its much more simple, pasting three or four files to root FS.
Try superoneclick first, if it wont help, will provide more step by step information.
EDIT:
Simpliest solution - almost forgotten
Download the zip provided underthis post.
Extract the zip file.
Connect your phone to computer (remember, that USB debugging must be on!!!)
Run file runme.bat (command line window will appear).
Enjoy !

RELAX first.
You will have to flash the stock SE firmware is by using the X10 Flashtool i .e. get your phone to stock and then root it again.
Here's a video link to the procedure :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmX-IYNYqL8
And a link to the stock SE firmwares:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746
I used this firmware :

Happy Flashing !

do you have USB debugging and unknown sources turned on your phone? Because its really strange why adb cant connect.
What ROM and kernel you are currently running on?
@dello what does ur pc say when u type adb devices?
Sent from my X10S using XDA
hi,
running the official rom and kernal that the SEUS installed running 2.3.3
and yes debugging mode and allow are both on but still says cannot connect to deamon, could it be the boot loader? i put ICS on a xperia play and did that fine, do i need to unlock the bootloader like i did with the play?
i did try to but the se website wont unlock it
and ADB in dos wont pick it up list empty
cheers

Flashed Xperia S ROM on Xperia P [fixed]

Hi Guys,
how the title says.. i stupidly flashed a Xperia S ROM (exactly Xperia SSpeed) on my Xperia P.
Now... well... nothing works. Black screen with red LED. Hard-reset turns that LED off and gives that hard-reset-vibrate.
Connecting in normal mode or fastboot mode wont work.
Somebody got an idea how to save my Xperia?
I tried to search for a thread, but nobody seems to be that stupid until now. And because <10 posts i had to post in general.
You should reflash stock fw by using flashtool
Good luck
You think flashtool will recognize my Xperia?
I dont think so, but I'll download it and give it a try. Thx for fast answering
EDIT2:
Awesome, i finally get in fastboot mode while making hard-resets and connecting to USB at the same time.
Now lets search for some stock euro/german FW
EDIT3:
Now i downloaded SEUS and it freezes at phone checking.. ok...
Still searching for a stock euro FW^^
Yes, it will . Why not ?
Your current rom doesn't influence to what flashtool does
Because until EDIT2, not even Windows recognize anything when plugging Xperia via USB in.
Currently I'm downloading SSpeed for Xperia P, takes some time with my connection. When download is finished I'll force closing SEUS, still checking phone.
EDIT:
Yeah, downloaded CWM Recovery, flashed it via fastboot and my Xperia bootet in its old FW. Dont know why, but it works and i think its time to edit the first post to [fixed] and try to get that phone rooted.
Thanks again for answering
Hmm...since the phone will be connected via flashmode to use flashtool but not via USB, so no problem if PC doesn't recognize it
Finally, make a nandroid backup via CWM, i'm sure you will never be worried about that any longer
This don't even worked before.
Thanks for the advice.
Now i found a rooted FW. Works perfekt exept a small fail by myself. It was a lang day for me:laugh:
