After unplugging the phone from the charger it still keeps charging?
How? Via the air?
I think it's just an issue with the battery (fuel gauche) app.
Try to wipe cache (and Dalvik cache) from recovery mode (Shut down the phone. Then press Volume UP + Home + Power until recovery menu appears).
Good luck !

try formatting your phone again with whatever rom you are using , wipe battery stats if you've clockwork mod recovery installed if not install it and do it
I cant do this because my volume keys dosent work (need new flex ribon),so i cant navigate in recovery mode.I done factory reset but still nothing .When I want conect with PC i have notification about not recognized device
Hey there
I have a Galaxy II with Siyah 3.3.2 and CM9 RC1
Since my battery died my phone refuses to receive a charge.
When the battery and charger are connected the phone does not respond to anything and the screen stays blank.
If the battery is removed I can turn the phone on. The battery logo flashes up and shows it at 100%. It then cuts out. If I press the power button shortly after CM9 will start to load then the power cuts out and I go back to a blank screen.
If I connect the battery at any point while booting it resets
I can boot into recovery mode and have tried resetting the battery stats
The phone boots fine when a battery with power is installed.
I'm stumped how to get this working again. Can I get some help?
Thanks
Day 2 using a 3210!
Could REALLY DO with some help
Hi,
Plug in a micro USB and try to recharge the battery from USB. Have you tried that? What happened exactly? Did you flash a Rom or Kernel to cause what happened? Since you can get into recovery mode have you tried flashing a stock kernel and Rom?

-Remove your battery for few (about 5) minutes,
-reinsert your battery (ensure the battery has contact with the good pins)
-connect your charger, if your phone comes back to life, then all is well
Report what happens
Swyped from my Galaxy SII
First of all , use a new fully charged battery ( may be a friend's GS2 battery ) and try to boot ur phone up
If it doesnt work then boot into recovery mode try to wipe data and cache or try download mode
If ur phone doesnt boot up neither in download or recovery mode , then u can use a USB JIG , if this fails try to do a Jtag
Provide more info if ur phone lights up and gives u the battery charge animation or not .( it might be ur battery is just bricked )
Just have an query about this problem.
The battery of the phone was quite low and the phone started heating up and switched off. Tried to leave the phone on charge for a few hours and it didn't show any reaction at all.
I have tried the hard button reboot (Power, Home and Volume Up/Down) but to no avail.
Then I left the battery out for while, inserted it and still didn't charge.
Thr phone is not rooted and the software hasn't been tampered with at all.
Any other way to attempt fixing it?
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app
A jig or try a different charged battery.
I had the same problem, I think. Try this:
1) Remove the battery.
2) Plug the phone on the power cable.
3) Insert the battery with the phone plugged.

if the above does not work, then please put your phone to recovery and do a factory reset or at least
- wipe cache partition
- wipe dalvik cache (under advanced)
- fix permissions (under advanced)
and if you reeally can't get to recovery,
then go to download mode and flash another firmware from sammobile.com
cheers
Hi guys,
I am currently trying to repair my friend's ST25i Xperia U, he encountered random crash and the phone won't turn on. I have tried to charge the phone but no reaction from the phone itself. if I pressed the lock button it only turn on the red LED for a second and nothing happens. I think I am having a problem with the kernel that it won't let the battery charged.
I am familiar with flash tool, when I tried to flash the device will not get into either fast boot or flash mode. IF i connect the phone to PC via USB(holding down up/down for either fastboot or flashmode), it only turn the red LED for a second.
anyone can help? I am currently trying to only charge the battery via universal battery charger, hoping that it is charged and can enter fast boot or flash mode so i can flash the device.
my friend said that it was running android 2.3.6, having a problem and sent to repair center upgraded into 2.3.7, then this random crash happened. I want to flash it to ICS by the way. I had the stock rom ready to flash.
Is there any flashing method that does not require a battery?
sorry for the long post, I hope you guys can help me with flashing

Try installing the latest version of flashtool and install drivers for xperia u manually
Load the stock ics ftf in flashtool.
when it asks to connect the cable
HOLD volume down key and connect
and then flash rom.

there is no way you can flash the phone without battery and the is the led flashing 3 times when you press the power button?
the problem is with the kernal and it is not charging the phone in offline mode and the only way is to use the Universal charger or flash the phone by using any other battery from a similar phone report after you do it

well the universal chraging method did not work, and no one uses xperia U here. hard to find a battery. can you confirm if using battery from similar phone will work?
regarding the led--it only flashes once, and red. this happens when it is plugged into pc/charger.

Remove the battery out of the device and leave it for an hour without the battery and after that press and hold the power button for 60seconds (without the battery) after that insert the battery and try to enter flash mode "have the FLASHTOOL ready to flash a rom"
IF it doesn't work
Just as a last try you can TRY REPAIR using Sony Update Service(SUS) and if it doesn't work either you have to report the service center... they will help you and if it is still under warrenty you can get it done for free too...
battery drained
have you done anything that couldve drained the battery fully ? if so the solution is to continuously charge it ... it might take upto 16 hours or more happened to mine now fixed
did it woks ? after charging your mobile for 16 hours ?
