Hi, I'm sorry to make a new thread but I used the search and nothing came up. So the problem is whenever I try to install crackeyes newest version of senseless which is named update.zip it gives me any error to the clockwork recovery I have been flashing xboarders Rom by choosing zip files in recovery and installing tjem. Is there a specific way to install the new senseless by crackeyes. And again I'm sorry for making a new thread moderator(Binary).

That's fine. I don't care that you created a new thread.
What kind of error are you getting exactly? Maybe it's a problem in his updater-script like a bad meta.
It's says installation aborted (status 0)

That's the error for the update-binary file in the rom. It's not compatible with either your recovery or your updater-script. Consult your developer or try a different recovery.

Thanks. I understand I might be posting in the wrong session, but this is the only thread on XDA that shares HTC Locations. I flashed TWRP Recovery on my device, then when I tried installing Locations-signed,zip, I got error message saying "No md5 file found". If you have solutions to this, I will be greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

There is a setting (I forget exact wording) to ignore md5 check. Set that and you ~ should~ be good to go. You will still see the same message during flash, but it should continue without issue

How do I install correctly cyanogenmod ?
Is it so hard to read the title of the first few threads ?
Thread moved to Q & A section, consider yourself warned.
hey guys, i have 2 simle maybe stupid questions but i would really apprecciate an answer:
1. can some tell me the difference between the fxp-144a-kumquat and fxp144-kumquat; what does that "a" mean?
2. if somebody knows if cm9 for xperia u has inbuild cwm or some recovery; and if yes, what recovery?
1.144a means it is later version than 144
2.It has CWM 6

Hey guys. I too am getting this same "aborted" message. I will admit, I had a custom ROM installed, but then I rebooted into the backup that cwmrecovery had created from the original Samsung ROM. It was from there that I tried to install the cyanogenmod. No luck... why? I followed all the instructions...
Guys, to install CM you must have Unlocked bootloader, stock ICS, CWM installed. Put the zip into your memory, reboot in CWM and install the zip, wipe data, cash and dalvick cashe and reboot.

Flash the boot.img from the CM9 zip using fastboot then flash the Rom

K thanks. I ended up fixing it by upgrading the new clockwork mod touch version. I think its required for cyanogen mod 10.

Hello, I have an HTC Amaze 4g running stock rom and on ics. I am trying to flash the faux kernel but when I try to flash it using 4EXT it starts the process then says
(Status 7)
Installation Aborted.
I dont know why it wont flash and have looked for help everywhere but they all say the same thing. Can someone help me? Also after I flashed the kernel the first time, my wifi stopped working does that have anything to do with it?
First thing to check is, are you S-ON? If so, is smart flash enabled?

I am s-off currently, and smart flash is enabled
Hmmm... I would try re downloading the kernel and seeing if it could have been a bad one before. Other than that someone more knowledgeable will have to help you. Sorry I wasn't more help.

I think I figured out the problem, when I redownloaded the ics kernel from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1359951
not all the files where being downloaded to my computer, I am missing the flash.bat file and I think others. Do you know where else I can find this ics kernel with all the files.

Here you go.

If the download from faux's page doesn't work I don't know what to tell you. It'll take someone with more knowledge than me to help you. Sorry

Uninstall any download managers and download accelerators you may have and try downloading it again. Also try using a different browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome

i don't think you need smart flash if your phone is s-off.. smart flash is for flashing the kernel without s-off.. disable smart flash and try again
I recently tried to flash JellyMIUI_3.1.11_v2 custom rom on my HTC Desire HD.
Install instructions suggest to install FULL_WIPE_1.5_EXT4_ zip from sd card.
When attempting to intall full wipe i get the following error:
-Model ID - HTC Ace
-Ok to proceed
Now preparing for a clean install of any EXT4 ROM
Please be patient
1st boot may take a few minutes
-Formatting Data
-Formatting System
E: Error in /sdcard/FULL_WIPE_1.5_EXT_.zip
(status 1)
Installation aborted
Does anyone know why I would be getting this error or how to fix?
Despite this error I am still able to install the JellyMIUI_3.1.11_v2 custom rom although GPS does not work (not sure if this related)
