[Q] Bell Atrix Unroot + Back to Stock - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The touchscreen on my Bell Atrix has begun to lose its ability to register touches on some parts of the screen. I am hoping to send it in for repairs but it is currently rooted and sitting cozy with a custom rom. I've been searching online for the last few days for a solid guide on how to get my phone unrooted and back to stock but all the ones I found were either extremely vague or had masses of broken links. I'm hoping that somebody here has been through a similar situation and can help me out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anybody? I hate to bump but it has been 4 days and the touchscreen has begun to get worse. I'm beginning to fear that it may lose all touch capabilities before I can get it back to stock.

Help with Verizon Touch Pro

Hi Guy's I figure there must be someone here that can help me with this phone? I have a problem my phone seems to run Good for several day's then begins to lock up so I do a soft reset and that seems to completely screw things up to the point where the processor is running at 50% and never seems to recover? I end up having to hard reset all the time? I don't have a lot on the phone just a few Applications. This is my forth phone in the last year and the folks at Big Red simply will not help! I am running a stock ROM because this is a company phone and I was told that it you flash it voids the warranty? Anyone have any ideas to what can be causing these crashes???
Thanks

It could be that the page-pool of the stock rom is set incorrectly, which eventually causes the device to slow down. My adivce... flash to something else, and then simply relock the device if you have to return it for whatever reason. No one will be able to tell that the damn thing was unlocked at any point in time.

[Q] Q! Touchscreen Issues Inside OS

Hey guys, this is my first post on XDA as I'm usually lurking or keeping up with updates. I've searched many forums for an answer to my problem but it does not seem that anyone has had the same issue.
Anyway, lately I've run into the problem of an unresponsive touchscreen. I can't even unlock my phone! Two nights ago I made three consecutive calls and about ten minutes later I couldn't unlock my phone.
In order to correct this problem, I first took off the screen protector to no avail. I was running CM7, flashed a sense ROM, flashed my backup of the stock ROM, went back to stock with S-ON, pulled the battery a bunch of times, completely wiped, removed the SD card, Soft & hard reset at a VZW store. Nothing.
Took it with me to school today, powered it on and before it completely loaded I was able to unlock it by chance, skipped the setup and it was working fine all day. I was hella overjoyed... until it did it again tonight. D: I so want it to be OS issues rather than hardware because I don't want to wait two days to get a 'reconditioned' TB from VZW.
HALP! Please? Thanks, guys for even looking!
MP
P.S. I do apologize if I did not follow proper procedure to post or posted in the wrong subforum. S:
I'm frustrated and sitting around with an unrooted TB, ohnoes. (Although the screen looks sexy as hell without a screen protector.)

sounds like it could be a digitizer(hardware related) issue. on the plus side, you can pickup a new digitizer pretty cheap... downside though is you'd have to open up the phone to replace it. it's not that hard to do and there's videos online showing you how to.. you'd just have to be comfortable i suppose.
i'd just fix it rather then going the refurbished route considering that god know's what was wrong with it before it became "refurbished" not to mention you have no idea how much use the phone had been put through and how much life it has left.

[Q] Legend Freeze issues

Hello All,
I've looked through most of the posts on the forum and i have'nt seen a post that quite addresses the issue that i am facing with my phone, but i may be mistaken, and if this is a double post i apologise.
So, onto the issue: i have had the legend for over a year now, and while its a brilliant phone in its class, it does have its short comings. First up, after buying the legend i realized that it can prepped with Android 2.1 upgradeable to 2.2. a few months after buying the phone the 2.2 update became available and i did an OTA install of the 2.2 software. For the first few weeks, all was well.. and then suddenly i had issues with the charging (phone not charging). I took it to the service centre and they diagnosed the the micro USB port had dampness issues and changed it. After that they did a complete reinstallation of the 2.2 as they had to do a complete wipe of the phone while changing the micro USB(not sure why). All was well for a few more weeks and then the freezing issues started.. occasionally the lock screen would freeze up and i would not be able to access the phone(either to make a call or send a message) unless i removed the battery and replaced it... obviously the power button did not work unless the phone was unlocked. I put it down to issues with FroYo and left it at that... however recently i acquired a new phone and decided to root my legend with the cyanogen 7(found it difficult to install the Gapps.. inexperience!!) and the Blayo 0.8... The phone worked well for a couple of days and then it was back to its usual freezing... i am getting frustrated and not sure what could be causeing the problem!! if anyone of you could help or point me in the right direction to someone who can help i would be very grateful!
Thanks for reading through an extremely long post!
Cheers!

How to fix touch screen?

Hello, my phone is only a couple months old, but was a replacement for a non-working phone at the end of my warranty period, so no help from motorola.
My H & N keys in the keyboard don't work.
My keyboard thinks it is being touched in certain places and I cannot use my phone at all.
Unlocked bootloader running CM7.2, just switched back from ICS. ICS was working fine for a couple weeks, then this happened randomly.
I flashed the PDSFix through fastboot. Anyone have a clue where to go from here? It really sucks not being able to use my phone.
I think your digitizers gone bad and needs replacing.
Sent from my MB860 running Jokersax's CM9
Thank you, I thought so as well.
Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy a replacement digitizer? Don't want to buy something cheap/unreliable.

[Q] Suddenly not getting any signal at all for no discernible reason

Ok, so here's the scoop.
Earlier today for no reason that I can pinpoint I lost all Cellular connectivity on my photon while at work. No calling, no 3G, etc. I figured it was just a hiccup or possibly that they where working on the towers in my area and that it would eventually just come back up.
That was over 12 hours ago, and I have already traveled from work, to home and still no change.
I began to think that maybe my PRL was out of date, so I flashed back to a blur based Rom that has worked for me in the past (I normally use CWM7.2 and moved to Imperium_Initiative_v1.0.5 to try and do this) and tried to initiate the update there.
Still, no results. Not only would the PRL & profile not update but I got a general "NETWORK_ERROR" every time I attempted to do so.
I'm getting a little desperate because I really need to have my phone active for work and other reasons.
I've already restored old NAND backups, restarted the phone numerous times, and so far nothing is working...
If it is indeed a PRL issue, is there a way to manually flash an updated version onto the phone?
Any help that anyone can offer is greatly appreciated!

P.S. The only major change that has been made to the phone recently was I purchased a new extended battery about a month back. It's been working great since I broke it in, and have no so much as flashed a new rom image since I got it. It's the Trexcell Motorola Photon 3570mah Extended Battery.
Well I decided to bite the bullet and do a full re-lock and stock re-flash and I now have gotten my signal back.
Still have no idea why it happened to begin with, but I have apparently solved my issue.
If anyone can give me a reason this might have happened then at least this topic can be of future use to someone else.

This happened to me once while on cm7, again, for no apparent reason. After being baffled for an hour i got pissed and went to bed thinking my radio died. Signal was back by morning. Id be willing to bet yours would have come back too. Pawn it off as a hiccup and keep flashin stuffs.
