What program is everyone using to sync their note to there pc?
I cannot find anything on the phone itself for syncing?
Note sync
The AT&T Note comes with Kies air, which is a WI-FI sync. I also believe that this sync could be used remotely, but I don't know why you would want to so that. I used it just enough to see that it worked. Simple, but I don't have a use for it yet.
Hmm, thanks for the info.....did not know what that was for
This program is great for transferring files, but lacks a backup option.
I guess it depends on what you are wanting to sync! Kies has alot of options. I currently use MyPhoneExplorer to do my backups and syncing contacts on my Skyrocket; which I will be testing out on my note as soon as it arrives!
Kries is very quick and handy for most stuff. But also check out Doubletwist.
There is also a Kies version you can download to you PC/MAC to aid in sync'ing and does have backup and restore on it. I'll have to check out Doubletwist.

I just tested my 2008 Fusion with Sync. It worked fine with BT.
I had to push the AUX button on the front of the radio to get to BT audio, to allow it to stream to the car radio.
I use A OK Radio app to listen to music.
The sync voice did say something about going to Media Menu to setup streaming, but that was not required.

Yes, as far as I know a program called discover pro allowed you transfer your files to your phone without a cable(via wifi), but I don't think it'll be recognized by iTunes...
Yet, hero doesn't need iTunes to sync music at all, you just copy your music to the folder and it'll find it.
Hope these may help.
I placed an order for SGSII and its shipping this thursday :_)
just a question regarding kies, can it sync outlook contacts and calendar easily
how about music and video sync, is it good ?
I don't know about Outlook, maybe someone else can review that for you. But I sync my contacts and calender with Google and it works great. Syncing pictures, audio and video through Kies also work fine, just make sure you untick optimise for mobile in Kies so it would avoid down-converting the data you sync to your phone.
are you able to sync through USB with Kies?
in my case, Kies Air connects ok, though it does has problem parsing my outlook 2010 calendar.
but when USB is used, it's complaining that i should switch mode to "Samsung Kies (PC Studio) mode", which i search high and low, and couldn't find the mode toggle option.
the path recommended by people's using i9000 are dead ends too.
edit: turn out it's due to the USB debug mode. when enabled, Kies refuse to connect.
How do you fix this problem?
How do you turn off the usb debug mode. Is it on the i9100 or the PC?
i started using kies but gave up in the end. you might have better luck than i did as i'm sure that it would work fine with a bit of work.
i ended up using this myphoneexplorer : http://www.fjsoft.at/en/
i can't recommend this software highly enough - it has made syncing with outlook bulletproof and it also allows me to control my phone from my pc when i'm at work.
hope this helps ...
it works

i gave up trying to use it (i use hotmail, and thus outlook connector). i got it working fine, but then went and setup hotmail as an exchange account instead. its just annoying that contact pics dont sync except gmail...

Same here
Keis didn't work but myphoneexplorer did the trick pretty well
Install Google calender sync on your PC as that will sync Outlook to your Gmail account that you will set up on your phone. Set your phones calender to sync with the same Gmail account.
Anything you then put on your phone or Outlook will sync automatically without having to connect your phone to the PC at all.
outlook sync
Hi,
just wanted to let you know that I had no problems at all to sync my Samsung Galaxy S2 with Outlook 2010.
Anyhow I have problems to sync my Galaxy S2 Samsung calendar afterwards with my google calendar. Any ideas how to do this?

Hmmm...I just read your question again.....
You've got it set to sync under
\ settings\accounts and sync ?
Thanks for your help! Now I get it up and running.
Does anyone know of a good way(hopefully automated/automatic) way to send photos from my phone to the tab 10.1? The camera on the phone is a lot better than the tabs built in camera, and so is the portability of the phone to take photos.
I have reccently found titanium sync media, and while it offers the option to sync with dropbox, I would like to know if there is app that doesnt have to upload to the cloud first. wifi or even bluetooth would be acceptable.
thanks
might be a good idea to tell us what phone you have...
I am using an inspire 4g, running GB...
You can do it easily with sugarsync.
your photos on your phone will be automatically saved in the cloud in your "magic briefcase" folder.
On your tab, locate the pictures folder into the app, long press on it and choose : '"sync to this device"
Don't forget to go in the options, set the parameters to be gentle with your battery.
You could also send it to yourself through e-mail.
thanks for the suggestions, I am aware of cloud options, currently using titanium media sync + dropbox to sync phone to cloud and on tab, cloud to tab. works well, but as mentioned before, I would rather not have to really on uploading to cloud first, but a way send straight to tablet from phone, maybe with an adhoc wifi connection tablet and phone, or just a bluetooth folder sync? I have a limited data package on the phone, this is the primary reason for this.
Thanks
Until you find another solution, with limited data plan, you could wait until you have access to wifi and then send the pics. It wouldnt cost you any data off your plan.

I just discovered sugarsync and love it... it syncs automatically, not dropbox. So you always have offline your pictures and no data plan is needed.
In the settings you can set the app to sync only in wifi, or only plugged in AC etc ... plus you have 5go free online. (A LOT of pictures lol)
Once you're done you don't have to care anymore. You always share the same pictures between your phone and the tab.
i will have to checkout sugarsync, but the setup i mentioned with similiarly.
files are uploaded to dropbox automaticly from phone to a folder, and that folder is setup to sync with the dropb on the tab. also has power settings to control if to use wifi, 3g, etc and on AC adapter only
I sync music from my Mac to my Vibrant and found this app to work great for that purpose. I'm sure there are other apps that also do this, but iSyncr has worked great for me. They have versions for PC and Mac. They also have a wifi add-on, which is what I use primarily. There's a server component that runs on the computer and the app on the phone. You can set it up to sync automatically based on a schedule. Every night at midnight, my phone automagically syncs playlists AND uploads any pictures or videos from my phone to a directory on my computer (automatic photo backup, which I was looking for as well). I tried Doubletwist but it took way too much effort.
I'm not affiliated in any way with the developer, just a satisfied customer. It sucks to experiment with a bunch of apps to see what works, so if someone finds this helpful, great!

Obvious answers.
1. Uninstall and re-install.
2. Unplug your Mac, take it back to the store and buy a *insert Windows PC brand here* (Sorry have to do this one)
3. Software Requirements (Macintosh):
Mac OS X 10.6 or higher version
Microsoft Office for Mac 2011
Source: HTC.com
Or just get a real computer
Didn't know you could still buy one of those "real" computers. Understand sales are almost non-existent but there must be a few die hards around.
Forgot to mention same setup worked great on HTC ONE X+.
Did I mention I am looking for help?

Thanks for the help. I did try turning off AFT since it automatically pops up and then nothing happens but maybe I need to uninstall it. I'll give that a try.
thanks again.

For photos I use DropBoks. Works great...it will sync all pictures to the cloud and sync them to any computer (Mac or PC) running DropBoks.
I will try Missing Sync and see if it can sync my music and playlists.
Surprised to see so much anti mac stuff here.......

Thanks, I'll take a look at DropBoks. I have so much stuff on iPhoto - up to about four different libraries now - that I really enjoy just plugging in my iPhone and syncing everything with no hassle. That is really why I keep going back to it even though all the new Android phones are really nice. I would like to enjoy the great phone features instead of fighting the sync problems.
