I saw that on the other day. Seems like a nice deal. I wanted to wait until someone had verified that it works before I pulled the trigger.
The SDXC should work with the dock, as long as it follows the standard.
i have one, it works. mine is a Sandisk 64gb class 6 standard sdxc

Did you have to format it first, or did it work right out of the package?

I formatted it right away, so I don't know if it would have worked.

if we knew this thread wouldnt exist... or rather the problem would already be fixed.
I have moved this thread to Accessories as it has nothing to do with Android Development.
WB
if u put it like this, almost no thread in the "android development" forum has anything to do with actual "android development"...
EMTEC MicroSD 2GB Class2 works!
I don't understand this thread any more.
If it was meant for "Which card should I use to boot Android?", then leave it in the right forum.
But now it is confusing, because the table isn't right anymore I think.
For example, like billnaat said, the Transcend microSDHC 8GB works with the Blackstone.
But is doesn't work for Android booting (waiting for SD-Card issue).

1st: ive created the thread TWICE and mods keep on moving it, so i will probably stop updating it, as this is not the point of the thread. there is nothing i can do
2nd: one user claimed that he experienced sd card trouble in relation to the flashed SPL, so if thats true, this may be the cause for one transcendent card working and another not working.
3rd: so long.
Thats sucks!
But for your second answer: The Transcedent Card was the standard card shipped with my phone So it should be weird if it doesn't work.
Can anyone recommend a good micro sd card for $50 dollars or under?

This is a question I was about to ask as well....
but i'd also like to know, if a microSDHC would work?
I sure hope so, because I just purchased this

WinTek cards from Frys are cheap & work very well. Sometimes you can find Patriot 32GB Class 10 for 80ish if you're willing to spend a little more at Frys also.
I'm currently using the Transcend 8GB class 6 in all of my devices, speeds are pretty good so far - they are around $15-20 including a SD adapter.

I went with Transcend as well - $52 on Amazon for 16gb class 6: http://amzn.to/i9fNPa
I'm ordering a couple of these (from NewEgg) for my TF:
WINTEC FileMate 16GB Professional Class 10 Secure Digital SDHC Card
Can't link yet, so just search for "N82E16820161396" from the main NewEgg site. Price seems good; $23.99.

Unless you have the keyboard dock already, and with the way that's been going thats doubtful

Wow! You are correct, sir. Major brain fart on my part. Hadn't hit the confirm order button so was able to save myself the headache.
I am currently using the Wintec 16gb class 10 and they are fine. Speeds are way above 10mb per second write. I get up to 12 mb per sec write and 17mb per sec read.
Polaroid 16GB from Fry's is $17.99 this week after rebate. Bad news is mine just died today in my N1 (error check fails / can't format). Good news is that it's lasted in my daily driver phones for the last two years. Considering I used it for swap while I had a G1 I'm surprised it didn't die sooner. Not a bad deal if you regularly backup your SD.

I have this card in my HTC EVO (should work with any device though) and pretty happy with it, its fast and cheap!
Patriot Signature 16 GB Class 10 MicroSDHC Flash Memory Card
Its definitely a class-10, the videos and pictures play and save pretty quickly compared to the stock card that came with the htc evo.
Can someone recommend a good (aka fast) 32GB micro sd card? I'm not concerned with cost. I'd rather just spend the money up front than worry about whether or not the card is too slow. Also, is there a nice comparison chart of 32GB cards with read/write speeds of various class cards?
Thx
EDIT: Well, I'm a bit confused. Which SD format does the tablet actually support? SD or SDHC? I would like to get the largest, fastest card.
MicroSDHC should work just fine.

I ordered this for my self:
Lexar High Speed MicroSDHC 32 GB Class 10 Flash Memory Card with Reader LSDMI32GBSBNAR
Does anyone know if the Prime can use the 16 GB microSDHC Class 10 memory cards? I just got two of them off amazon because they were like 25.00 each with excellent reviews on speed. So I got one for my prime and one for my HTC Amaze. I just dont know if the prime can utilize the speed class and the SDHC standards?
Thanks!
you can use a card adaptor to fit the Micro into a standard SD slot..

Im pretty certain it can, yours is no different then any other 16 gig microsd. The New ones are MicroSDXC, and I believe I read somewhere that the Prime does support those, which currently go up to 64 gigs.

They don't exist yet, he was referring to the fact that documentation says that this new SDXC technology could theoretically support up to 2TB of data. But we currently aren't anywhere near being able to fit it that small yet, but the format supports it.

Asus only tested up to 32GB.
But users at XDA have tried and posted screenshots of card up to 128GB.
Samsung S5 Manual does not indicate the type of microSD card.
Which does it take a 64 gb microSDHC a 64gb microSDxC?
or does it take either?
Is it the same for the 128gb card also?
I have a SDxC in mine and it works fine.
Haven't tried the larger one. Just the 64 gb card.

There are no 64 GB SDHC cards, so that should answer your question right there.
The S5 will accept 128 GB cards, ergo it can use either SDXC or SDHC.
In all truth, the SD Association nomenclature is Byzantine. SDHC cards have a maximum capacity of 32 GB. SDXC cards have data transfer protocol refinements and a theoretical max capacity of 2 TB. More important is the speed class rating.
You'll want a micro SD card that is at least Class 10 (10 Mbps).
Better would be a UHS Class 1 (10 Mbps).or UHS Class 3 (30 Mbps) rating.
For maximum performance or If 4K video is important to you,
look for a name brand, micro SD SDXC UHS, Class 3+ (30 Mbps) card.
And only the gods know if the latest UHS-II cards are usable in the S5 or not.
.
Did purchase and installed the Samsung 64 gB Sd card and it really was fast as compare to my previous installed SanDisk 32 gb.
