[Q] Does the SGS2 support flac natively or not?

I am NOT talking about other 3rd party apps. Thanks.
in short yes it does.
I think yes, I already have more than ten of them and the Stock one plays all of them
PS- Oh yes, GSMArena spec sheet confirms it,
- MP4/DivX/XviD/WMV/H.264/H.263 player
- MP3/WAV/eAAC+/AC3/FLAC player

All phones with Gingerbread support FLAC.
Hmm. Thanks, but any suggestions on why streaming of flac from a Plex media server don't work?

Sounds like the media server doesn't support flac.
Hmm. It works on other units...

Looking for an app to stream from YouTube in background.

As the title says I'm looking for an app to stream YouTube videos in background, because I like listening to new Music all the time. I don't like it when I hear songs too often. Thank you in advance for every answer

Super Video, Floating & Popup

I originally found this on the N7000 forum.
If you have seen the ability to watch a video while doing another task for the Samsung Galaxy 3, then this is it.
Pretty much the same deal. Works well with the Note i717.
I am running the Hybrid ROM in Tablet mode and this app works great.
You can find this app in the Play Store. Here's a demo vid - copied link from app description.

The split screen ability in the Note 10.1 would be another great feature to have now...
Great find
Here is the link for those who like clickies -> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gpc.myweb.hinet.net.PopupVideo
Thank the OP, not me

Its an awesome app.
Btw, this app already comes pre-installed in the HYFR B4 ROM.
Is it safe for an app to collect a device's imei to their server? The EULA claims that it is used to verify the device. It is in the privacy policy.
thats similar to stickit..i have used for a while now.. idk which one is better though

OK all, while this app seams to have everything I would want it has one major thing I don't want LAG. just wondering is it doing this to everyone or just me? What I mean is this, when it plays a video it plays about 2 sec then buffers, but in the youtube app the same video will play with no issues. I am useinf the free version and have un installed and re installed it already. Also I am getting throttled speeds on ATT however as I have said youtube works just fine. Any ideas?

I haven't experienced any lag as of yet. Both on Flapjaxxx's UCLE2 and CM9.
@spade1031
No lag here and I'm still on FJ's GB ROM.
With more use I've noticed it seems to be only YouTube and only.the hd videos, any other site with hd works fine and the YouTube app with hd works fine. Might just be that I'm throttled, I'll post back after my new bill cycle and update. Just asking is anyone else throttled and working right? By the way I'm only getting hspa+ in my area. But still a GREAT app for anyone, thanks again for sharing.
Sent from my magnetosphere remix NOTE
EDIT: working fine now that I'm not throttled
Been playing with this for a couple days, pretty cool, no real issues to report on paranoid android.
Full screen low framerate
App: Supervideo (HW Decode)
I am experiencing low frame rate when switching to full screen. When the video is floating, it's perfectly fine.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?
App: MX Player (Free)
Full screen is perfectly fine.

Any way to picture in picture youtube?

Any way to stream youtube videos while performing other tasks?

[Q] Which music player are you using for s3?

Just a quick question to see which music player app gets the thumbs up :good:
I'm currenty using n7Player and it's ok but i have to manually scan when i've added new albums.
I'm not a fan of the stock player as the windget has limitations.
Google it and you'll find plenty comparisons and reviews
did that @ Glebun, so i just thought i'd post it in the Q&A to see what others thought.
I agree with you, stock player is trashy. I prefer winamp.

There is a music player review in Themes and Apps probably but not certain by Nick Fury .
jje
There's no better player out there than PowerAMP (pay version). Bought it at full price and it's one of the best apps I've every bought.
stock player "Music Player"
I prefer the google "play music" app. Its easier to use plus the widget is better.

Poweramp....no questions, the best by a long way
Poweramp user here too.
i use the stock music player with AC!D mod. Really good for me.
Best player
I use apollo or stock music player.
Stock player by me
It is enough
Just saying the name of the player has no value or usefulness, at least try to explain why you prefer it.
R: [Q] Which music player are you using for s3?
Double twist.
(@ glebun: y u keep spamming bro? XD)
I use it cuz its got a very fluid interface plus it downloads album images (i guess most do) but it reminds me of the ios player simplicity. Very good, i like it more than others try it.

Oh and by the way, im gonna also support the poweramp cause because its the only music app ive tried that has the very low loading times between songs just like ios (almost instant...but i dont mind using double twist even thou it doesnt have that feature)

To be fair to everyone i did only ask which player people were using. not for an explanation as to why they're using it. just wanted a general idea of what app folk are using out there for music. Thinking of giving Poweramp a go!
Thanks for the replies.
