ok, so i cant run almost all games, once i press on icon, i get a message that says me, "[app name] has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
i tried to move and instal to an sd cart, and to phone, i always get the same. i have rooted ACE with original firmware from samsung.
btw. tried 2.3.6, 2.3.5, 2.3.4, 2.3.3 and after every different ROM installed, i allways get the same ....
so,,.. what to do?? all games i tryed was 320x480. i get some of them to work, for example FRUIT NINJA.
another problem,, does anyone know how to make that TOP dock with signal bar, with battery, so HOW TO MAKE IT TRANSPARENT?
the best stock rom is 2.3.6 for nordic country's and with lagfree v3 script it's go so damn fast and the battery life is awesome. and the problem of the games its depend what game do you want to install, all games support different android version and phone spec. i dont kow how to make the status bar transparent :S sorry.

Hey..
As far as ur Game problems are concerned, Its not problem of roms. I mean kindly check the type of games that U wanna run on Ace coz v hv dedicated Gpu but wont support games developed for Tegra devices & all with loads of Ram.. try some great games for our devices instead & U may want to install Chainfire3D if you like
About making Status bar transparent & If u running CM7.2..here you go:

No go for me says "bootmenu not installed please install bootmenu" when i click load module, m running stock Froyo but rooted. DID a market search for bootmenu didn't show anything specific. Any ideas?

Search for "Defy 2nd Init" on market, install it, open it and install the boot menu ( 0.8.6 is ok ).

First of all you need to be rooted and second you need to install boot menu using 2nd init from market and then download and install Defy Multitouch Enabler from market

well I have MIUI 1.9.9 running and also have installed 2nd init 0.8.6 but there seems to be a problem.
If I install 2nd init again and run multi touch enabler it works flawlessly, but when i restart the OS doesn't load and keeps showing me the bootmenu.
Then i just install the 1.9.9 from recovery again and then i can't use multi touch enabler and it wont install.
To make it work i have to repeat the whole process again. Not sure where I am going wrong .. hmm..

today i installed Criscelo Rom along with siyah kernel 2.1.1.. it was a success.. well anyways.. after restoring some of my applications via Titanium backup.. i began to explore this new rom.. but somehow on some of my applications.. there a RED SPOT on them.. i dont know what it indicates.. does it mean its outdated? or simply its not compatible with my rom.. or what.. i can't seem to get the answer..
p/s : i do try to google search but all it leads me is to the RED SPOT camera problems..
Please tell me what to do.. thanx
-----> nevermind.. i found the answer.. seems that with TW launcher there's a setting to let you know when an apps is running in the background.. i didn't know because been using go launcher all this while..
It means that the application with the red spot is running. you can cancel the red spot in the launcher settings

but I have no messaging app so i cant send sms or mms.
i've installed all the addons as well to see if that doesn't fix..

no way man, as seen in his screenshots, there is definitely a messaging app, the one with the smiley face. never flashed it though, but will flash later. this rom catched my eye.

Hi there dude. Can you look what checksum do you have of your .zip file downloaded? And one more - look if you have apk called Conversations (open .zip -> system -> app -> [here]). If yes then it MUST be SMS app. Try to reflash my ROM again or redownload - maybe don't forget (if you have) fix permissions and don't use backups before flashing my ROM. In a short words - SMS app is here, in ROM, without any addons. Bye.

Got it working.
What i've done after stock,root, 2.33
1)formatted mem card. - copied only Diexperia7 Avanger.zip
2)full factory reset
3)wipe dalvik cache
4)wipre battery stats
5)fix permissions
install custom zip.
reboot all working

I have working full charging till 100% and all hardware buttons leds, I never heard about that issue....And next time write in my topic, cause this is about messaging app (which was fixed after our dialog), not Q&A.
BTW about Cosmic Flow - we can't make it on Stock ROM, until we get KGSL's on this.
BTW2 And letters of apps are "not normal" - I see this too, but it now causing any bugs, so you don't need to tell me this .
srry about that,but about the led thing is that when i went back to stck it worked so maybe it was a bug since one was on n one was dim.......can u giv me the libs n everything for" music player" cauz i lov it n nobody gav it to mee.....u can see in themes section that i had posted it n can u add gapps as an addon?n about that posting in topic,ill do that next tym since im new

Can you maybe tell me how the browser differs from the stock 2.3.3 rom or other roms as on the stock rom i tried getting a live video streaming to play and it said i needed to install adobe flash (gave me the official links to adobe lol), and also on the stock if i search the market i could not find adobe flasherplayer anywhere, but with your rom installed i could get the the adobe flashplayer show up when searching google play. it installed and now i can watch the live video streaming i wanted. Soooo happy with this.

I having trouble with Play store, when i try to search apps (touching the search button) the keyboard open and the search field disapear with the Play, but when i tipe something, the Play appear again...
Someone have it too?

If i go to about in settings i can see this

2.6.32.9-perf

8x55a-aaabqqa........etc
I liked ics due to the recent app bottom that i can fc anything .. And the bluetooth visibility i can make it all time ... I liked the browser .. And many things that aren't in gb
My 1st question is there any way or rom to add these things to gb rom ?
.. I tried a lot of games and alot of them didn't work
So i want to downgrade to gb without changing kernel because i can't use pc now
2ed question how can i knew what roms works with my kernel ?
3rd question if i installed wrong rom my phone will brick ? or i can restore the back up that i've just made it at cwm 5.0.2.7
Plzz help me i realy want to downgrade to gb with some useful mods like question 1

I think you just have to flash the ftf file for gb firmware. This will take care of the kernel as well.

Edit: i've decided to not downgrade my fantastic ics for some stupid games that didn't upgrade to work with ics ... Anyway there r a lot of games works with ics

There is no such thing in ICS. It just removes the app from the Recent Apps list, it doesn't close it. App is closed when Android needs memory.

Ok, this is my face right now ->
I'm not on ICS, but I was definitely sure that pressing and holding Home button you would start a task manager. And I was sure that swiping an app would close it. And that's why I would have never done somthing like that, because I prefer to leave the task managing to the OS.
Can you confirm that's not a task manager?

I respect ur opinion .. But u r wrong
It is like task manager if i move the app to the left or right it will fc
Try it i am sure for example i open im+ and login then go to home screen then delete it from recent app in 1 sec(in gb i need to go to running app in setting to fc)
Then i run im+ again it was closed
But in gb the recent app is very stupid .. So i think the developers can change it to a task manager in gb ..

When my phone lags i open recent app and delete all app there ... My phone after that like new
