Hy everybody,
I want to install Windows CE 6.0 on my HTC HD2 European version in order to use the device mostly like a GPS navigation. The last version of iGO Primo V2.0 do not "like" winmo 6.5.x. and crush, restart, loose GPS signal every 30 seconds, has sound problem etc. Seems like Primo V 2.0 was custom made for Windows CE 6.0 PNA.
Can you "kitchen" masters give me a HTC HD2 ROM with Windows CE 6.0? I don't use it as a phone anymore. Also, some TMC driver that use Leo FM will be great appreciated!

p.s. I have installed NET Compact Framework 1.0 SP3 in order to "fill the gap" between Windows CE 6.0 and WinMo 6.5.x, also have NET Compact Framework 3.5 on device, I use last stock ROM and SPB MobileShell 3.5 but this does not help me to run iGO Primo V2.0

Cause I observe that when a major update will be release it will be by region or by country approximately 2 to 3 months from the other. Anyway it is only my observation and opinion.

If you haven't HardSPL'ed your device, you need it, otherwise you wont be able to flash this ROM!

Hello everyone. I was developing an pp for Athena 7500 with windows mobile 6.0 that read GPS position using windows driver so others applications, like navigator could use GPS port at the same time. The problem is now i can only get Athena 7510 and, for a problem that i don't know, i can't read gps positions using windows driver so i must lock gps port for reading them. Maybe the problem is related with the WM version so i would downgrade 7510 from WM 6.1 to 6.0. is it possible to achieve this?. Thank you for all your efforts.

i want manila 2.5 in this rom and i have the files to port it. i just have no idea how to port the files! if someone could teach me either....

before I will buy a HD2, I need some answers:
1.) How can I find out which WinMo version is included in the ROM? Which number in the devices "software info"-tab tells me whether the WM version is 6.5.0, 6.5.2 or 6.5.3 ?
2.) What is the most recent WM version (is it 6.6 or even higher?).
2.) Is there any CLEAN ROM with the updated WM version? No custom programs, no deletes of software, no custom themes? And my last questions is how to find such a ROM build here in this forum? How to search for it?

The HTC HD2 have only WM 6.5! only custom rom used WM 6.5.x
The most resend is 6.5.5
Yes, Artemis rom is very close to Stock rom lets say 95% but the big different is the use of WM 6.5.5 in combination with the latest packaging.

For example you have the Artemis ROM, it has Operating System Version: 5.2.23518 (23518.5.5.0)
So where can you see that this is WM 6.5.5? I guess here -> 5.2.23518 (23518.5.5.0), am I right?

Looking at this ROM thread, it seems like one of the newest. However an XDA Mod shut it down back in 2013.
This may have seemed like a good thing at the time, but now nearly a decade later, it would be nice to have the thread ongoing so users could reupload the ROM, when the inevitable linkrot sets in.
