These bootanimations works on all 320x480 devices!

Hello pals! Me and iok1 are working on a bootanimation. It's supposed to be a fake factory reset. So whenever you start your phone it will appear as it is going into recovery, scroll down to wipe data/factory reset. It will fake a factory reset.
Requirements:
Root
Custom recovery
A non-stock rom
Optional: Backup of current bootanimation
Downloads:
Clockworkmod fake factory reset
Ramscript prank
Installation:
Reboot into recovery
Choose install zip from sdcard
Navigate and pick "CWMfakefactory" or "Ramscript_v1.3"
Install it
Reboot and enjoy
How to prank friends:
Make sure they have a 320x480 device
Send them the link to "Ramscript_v1.3"
If they don't belive you, send them link to [this post] (no post yet, will make one)
Tell them flashing instructions (flash in recovery)
Let them reboot and watch their reactions XD

Actually, ace has the same screen resolution, you should be able to use this one on it . But create a backup of your current bootanimation just in case!

We only used DDMS to take the pics and then we spent 2 hours on copying the pics and change names then we just wrote the code whit Bootanimation creator and we used bootanimation previewer to see if it worked

We might trash the cyanogenmod screen and make something scarier, maybe some loading screen that gets stuck or something (after factory reset). I want suggestions, guys

how bout newspaper look alike
the screen full of letter
then its glow a word at once
but the font size is big as font in our x8 not too little nor big enough..
without a space

Apparently you are not using LinuxDX 'cause I do not have xRecovery with it...

Becouse Achep don't have time to move from v018 to v019! And he give me special patch for statusbar layout like ICS! See it here!

Yeah seems alright for now...even if it drains 10% I don't care couse it's really nice thanks again...and just wonder...can I turn it off from Settings/Display/Animations...or I should not try that?

New vision of Xperia S (almost everything)
Removed rotation launcher from Xperia S (very buggy)
BUGS:Google Maps not working properly
Installation
Log into xRecovery (restart your phone and see the picture of DoomKernel press the Back button repeatedly)
Do the following
-1-Do a factory reset (Full Wipe)
-2-Wipe Cache Partition
-3-Wipe Dalvick cache / from Advanced menu /
-4-Wipe Battery stats / from Advanced menu /
5-Install-ROM and
6-You give Reboot
-7-After 10 Animation you can see black screen do not panic wait 2-3 minute.As ROM load give Reboot then go trought SetupWizard wait 4-5 minute and Reboot Again.
Reccomendation:
Charge the phone battery to 100% wipe battery stats and then install the ROM.After install charged again to 100%.
Recommended frequencies 128/1152 SmartAssV2.0 and deadline.
ROM NEED 3-4 Reboot to show full speed

Exactly well said... These guys take time and effort to make our x10 thrive I just don't understand negative feedback they don't pressure anyone into using there Rom they just appreciate feedback regarding bugs etc etc..keep up the good work ics screens look goodB-)

It can be!! What is wrong with this??he credited Fera and maybe asked his permission!! All stock Roms are very similar...cause the base is the same!! I have nothing against you mate,but I don't understand why some of you need to be so rude to a guy that simple share his work with us!! Anyway, peace!! Let the thread clean!!

Most stock based roms will work with either locked or unlocked just make sure you have the correct wifi modules

Hey Fellow Xda members and developers,

Bellow are some bootanimations u can pick and install. I have edited them to work on x8/w8
Method to install:
Download your favorite bootanimation
Put them somewhere in your sd card and remember that location
Go to Root explorer
In system/media
u will find bootanimation.zip
Copy that and keep it in a safe location (rename it as bootanimationBACKUP.zip to avoid confusion
now go to the downloaded bootanimation
copy it and paste it in system/media
delete the already existing bootanimation.zip
rename the downloaded bootanimation as bootanimation.zip
long prees the zip and select permissions
make it look this

+ - -
The (+) means a tick
The (-) means no tick
reboot and enjoy the new bootanimation
Bellow are the bootanimations and the links are on thier names
If the download links dont work then find the bootanimations from my Mediafire Folder
