[Q] Bluetooth on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi:
I have a problem with this smarthphone :
Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830
Android version 2.3.6
Kernel 2.6.35.7-perf-CL816486 [email protected]#1
GINGERBREAD-BUKT3
Bluetooth seems to work ok because I can pair with the Parrot CK3100, but I have a ELM327 bluetooth diagnostics interface than I can not find when I search bluetooth devices with this smarthphone.
The ELM327 is working fine with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and android 3.1, as with 2 pc's I tried with windows XP.
Kernel problem?
Can you help me?.
Thanks a lot.

there nothing wrong with the bluetooth if that's the case just make sure that the device is discoverable

Hi :
The device is all time discoverable. The phone is discoverable too. I can pair with another android and windows but not with this one.
Perhaps the profile it uses? I think is as a serial port...
Thanks.

Depends of your tv.
I know just these ways:
http://www.renjusblog.com/2011/08/connect-galaxy-s2-to-tv-via-dlna.html
http://blog.clove.co.uk/2010/07/07/samsung-galaxy-s-tv-out-via-3-5mm-headphone-jack/
Hope I helped.
Ok, i did the operation for the second way you mentioned, but does not work. My GT-I5500 does not have the option for "tv" on screen settings, i don't know if it's possible to connect it to tv throug the 3.5 mm jack like galaxy s II. That's really i want to know. Thanks a lot for your response anyway!!!!!

[Q] Galaxy s2 GT-i9100 bluetooth in call colume problem

HI:
I recently bought a used Galaxy s2 GT-I9100 unlocked and rooted with ICS 4.0.3, bluetooth file transfer is working, the problem is when i connect the phone to my car (KIa sorrento) the in call volume is not working, but the media audio is working, i check all settings (both checkmarks are ok under the paired device). I read on a post that it could be the software version so i downgraded to gingerbread 2.3.4 and i still have the same problem. Please help me find a solution to this matter. Thanks in advance

thanks for providing the deatiled info in relation to your problem.
Of course, we all know that your laptop runs under DOS 6.22 128bit, while yours bro's one is loaded with Sun Solaris 3.1.
Furthermore, as we guess, your phone's ROM is ported from SGS1 android 2.3.4, right?
Comparing your question with car users one it would be: I have an Opel. Please provide me with the part number for cambelt tensioners.

Based on provided by you system info and drivers versions I can say that you should sell dell and boy hp.
Or, you can ask someone adult, who would explain to you my questions.
What OS?
What BT Drivers have you installed?
Start by removing the S3 then find the bt drivers and un install them and reboot.
Then go to broadcom and download the latest bt drivers, reboot and pair s3
Simples
thnks. will gv it a try.
m on win 7. dell xps 15 laptop.
i used same driver in past and ir wrkd jst fyn. but this tym whn i did this, dis fuss occured

could you write proper English? Makes understanding you muuuuch easier
if you are asking me to use complete words rather than using them in short form, i will do that from now onwards.
other than that i don't know what is wrong with my English

[Q] Why I am unable to connect my Gear S ?

Hello All,
I have unlocked rooted Moto G 2013 running Android Lollipop.
All required APKs for the Gear S are installed on device.
I have used Build Prop. Editor Tweaker to change the following characteristics:
RO.PRODUCT.MANUFACTURER : SAMSUNG
RO.PRODUCT.MODEL: GT-I9500
RO.PRODUCT.BRAND: SAMSUNG
Then I have connected Gear S to my Moto G via Bluetooth and paired. Then I searched in Gear Manager for the Gear S, but it ALWAYS says "NO DEVICE FOUND". I unpaired the smart-watch and tried searching again but still same problem.
I tried resetting the smart-watch then searching again but still no device found.
PLEASE ASSIST !!!
