Hello All,
I have unlocked rooted Moto G 2013 running Android Lollipop.
All required APKs for the Gear S are installed on device.
I have used Build Prop. Editor Tweaker to change the following characteristics:
RO.PRODUCT.MANUFACTURER : SAMSUNG
RO.PRODUCT.MODEL: GT-I9500
RO.PRODUCT.BRAND: SAMSUNG
Then I have connected Gear S to my Moto G via Bluetooth and paired. Then I searched in Gear Manager for the Gear S, but it ALWAYS says "NO DEVICE FOUND". I unpaired the smart-watch and tried searching again but still same problem.
I tried resetting the smart-watch then searching again but still no device found.
PLEASE ASSIST !!!

I own a Spice Mi-270 android 2.2 version phone.Searching the internet I found that by changing the ro.product.model and ro.product.manufacturer in the build.prop one can get Increase app compatibility.I tried changing model to Nexus One and manufacturer to HTC and also second time to GT-S5830 and Samsung rebooting the each time .The phone was rebooted and the model number showed in settings >> About phone.Even after visiting market though the phone and than through PC My device shows as "DOLPHIN Phone".
Please guide what other lines do I change?
Is it possible to increase wifi reception gain?
PSlease find the attached orig build.prop of Spice Mi-270(added the .txt extension for easy viewing)

Galaxy Nexus is developed by samsung so you put samsung for the Manufacturer
not HTC

Bluetooth seems to work ok because I can pair with the Parrot CK3100, but I have a ELM327 bluetooth diagnostics interface than I can not find when I search bluetooth devices with this smarthphone.
The ELM327 is working fine with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and android 3.1, as with 2 pc's I tried with windows XP.
Kernel problem?

there nothing wrong with the bluetooth if that's the case just make sure that the device is discoverable
in default the phone was hidden in bluetooth searching so check if the phone discoverable

Hi :
The device is all time discoverable. The phone is discoverable too. I can pair with another android and windows but not with this one.
Perhaps the profile it uses? I think is as a serial port...

as far as i know serial port doesn't have do with bluetooth

I tried again with WinXP to see what profile and is Unknown.
It work ok in XP and Android 3.0

Hi,
I recently, by mistake bought a replica of Galaxy Nexus which run on a 1.2ghz Mediatek processor as per Antutu tester (it also show the manufacturer as Samsung and model name as Galaxy nexus ). Its a single SIM phone running 4.0.2 and also identifies SIM card and network but does not make calls ?
Is this a firmware issue or some setting issue? It also does not have Gapps installed in it? Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Is there a way to check the "Original manufacturer" and "Model Name/no" of a phone? i also buy a inew v3 GREAT PHONE but i cant connect with my new gear fit guys! my husband do the update with kies3 but nothing it says Fail to connect... please guys help us.

Try using the older version of Kies. I don't think the Kies3 version is compatible.

we tried that but the old kies made us updated whit the kies3 automatically because the device was not compatible...the gear fit now have the latest update but still no connecting... what is the last fit gear manager version out there?
i do not know much about this but my husband explained to me while updating the device... correct me if I'm wrong thanks!
Once you download the older kies....disconnect the Internet from pc...there is a thread on here I will see if I can find it.

So sad that this have only compatibility with Samsung phones...
now, with my inew v3 smartphone the paring is ok because it show the code... but nothing only the fail message.

Flash there older firmware (in to Gear Fit) and in mobile you must have also older Gear Fit Manager. Do not use the newest one!
I just tried connecting my Fit to the PC (Win8) using kies3, worked great, told me I had the current firmware (I already did that).
Hello XDA Guys..
I bought an Android phone, it's specs are huge but I do not know it's model. I removed the battery to see the model name and number but it shows only DF808, and on the about phone settings, it shows simillar DF808.. I searched it on google and found noting.
So how do I root this phone? I tried the recovery mode, it has similarity with the Galaxy Y recovery mode, but update.zip for Galaxy Y wont work on my phone.. Is there any other way to root my anroid phone? THanks BTW
