No. That's like asking to install 2 engines in one car. That'll just make your CPU go insane taking orders from both apps and resulting in a phone locked up in a retirement home. Lmao.
My point is, no. Don't do it.
Haha...so hard to make any script working on stock rom

In theory, yes. But the processor will only read the values created from the latest app. For example if the stock CPU controller gives value x, No Frills gives value y then SetCPU gives value z, the processor will only read value z because SetCPU was the last app give the values.
Another case would be that both of the apps will keep on updating their values (like SuperAce said) and the processor would be confused because the values change frequently (causing instability).

I am just curious about some new settings that are in the CPU governors. Because I could not find much information about these settings, Scary and Savagedzen.
Setcpu website latest CPU governors is only at, Smartass, http://www.setcpu.com/#7.

Use CPU Spy free in the android market to see how they work
Downloaded CPU spy from market studying how the app works.
Found a thread that is quite detail and gives recommendation too

Hi,
Recently got into over clocking and undervolting. Need an app similar to malistatus, which is able to provide Realtime (not interval-based) cpu info like:
core load in %
clock speed and,
voltage (in mv)
Anyone have recommendations? Tried many from the app store but were not quite what I was looking for.

I use "SystemPanelLite" but I think it is not real-time. There's no public Android API for this, so no market app.
However I managed to get the info with Android Terminal Emulator, entering
Code:
su
cat "/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/cpuinfo_cur_freq"

not sure what you're taking about, there are loads of apps in the play store that do this
BTW, if what you need are stats about the time spent in each state, CPU Spy will get you that.

I meant that there is no API documented on developer.android.com, so apps have to use unsupported linux specific stuff which might or might not work on all phones, and sometimes require root as for the command I posted.
So, for cpu most apps access averages e.g. in /proc/stat, and for voltage it is device-specific (some apps for voltage control are listed in this thread)

If he's UV/UC his phone, he must be rooted. So, no problem with that command.
I use daily Watchdog Task Manager. It isn't real time, but i can put in a 1 sec interval, and it's just fine. :good:

Hi everyone
I'm trying find the way debug CPU starvation
Many causes occurs CPU starvation and i know finalize() fuction one of reason.
We can see CPU usage at that time and i think i need find out how to record the owner class of finalize()?
Thank you.
Hello guys, this is my first post here in the forum and i'm looking for a very specific answer, hope you can help me.
So I had this idea for an app that could really optimize the way people work here @ my workplace, but the thing is: i know nothing about programming and development
The question is: how hard would it be/how long would it take for a complete newbie to develop this app? (description below).
It consists basically in a scheduler & task assignment app. It must be able to:
Register two kinds off app users: workers/schedulers (WS) and schedulers only (SO).
Create WS subgroups (something like tags or flags so tasks can be assigned to a specific subgroup of WS').
Allow WS to create their own daily schedule and share it with all schedulers.
Allow SO to have access to all WS' schedules and fill them remotely.
Allow SO to auto-assign tasks to the nearest availabe WS of an specific subgroup.
Allow both WS and SO to see wich tasks were assigned by each one.
This is the main idea, of course there are some minor changes and details that I need to add, but this is enough to get the main idea.
Waiting for an answer, thank you in advance.
