I can search my posts on the mobile app, but not when using my computer. Quite frustrating, cause I wanted to follow up on a thread earlier today, but couldn't find it because I wasn't able to search my posts. Anyone else having issues with this while using the computer, not just the app?
Hate the app. Oh well I know their doing stuff on the servers.
Thanks BAL

I just got the ability to update to to 4.1.83.
Is this the update with the real new radio that enabled HSDPA+ and etc.
I currently have GreyBlur v2.1 w/ side-loading & tethering & the baseband 1.87 for the "fake enabled better 3G speeds" thing.
Can this new update be rooted, tethered, side-load, etc. Or is it like an entirely new firmware? Is it worth it to get this new update?
I am confused and cannot find a good source, sorry.... Thanks!

I'd do a SEARCH, to find out if all 39 posts were like this, but maybe I'll make a new thread?
I would just appreciate an answer then I will delete this, I am aware it is common but after search am still confused. Sorry for my incompetence on a issue I am completely new to.

Seriously... no kidding. This is litterally everywhere and all you gotta do is do a bit of reading ahead. Plus this is in the wrong section too.

Why doesn't everyone let admins do their thing and quit being so dramatic about rule breaking?

Because that is no fun.
To the OP:
1) yes
2) you can't delete posts, so SEARCH for a answer first, then GO TO the QUESTION and ANSWER (Q&A) board and ask if you can not find the answer.
3) Don't forget to look at the rules they are stickied on top of the forums.
It could be just my pc trying to fool me but i cant find the search button anymore
logged in at xda and searched trough sgsII threads but nowhere to be found
so is this just me or is anybody else missing the search function to.
i think i saw an error message earlier saying that they were updating the search function. i dont have it either.
SOPA took it
I think they just removed it because nobody was using it.
People just prefer to start a new thread about things that have already been answered a million times.
What's the use they said?? Let's get rid of it.

Hardy ha ha. Would have Merritt though.
Seriously, just some site maintenance. I'm having issues with the XDA app too, but expect it's related.

Just for the better already wanted to by some new specs, now i can spend the money on more important things like booze.
ps: did a search on the search button but came up with nothing........
Why cant i update via kies? It says my device does not support it.
I'm a noob, so please understand... xD
ok.....so i was being nice in your other thread.....
first of all, remove the ?signature? you have there.... calling yourself a noob does not excuse you from searching
which leads me to the second point.....
you agreed to a set of rules when you signed up to become a member of these forums...you should re-read those rules before you create another thread....
I have been searching and it keeps saying no results. I was just hoping someone had the same issue and found an answeer.

He's talking about search bar on this site. threads are not always as easy to find on here especially since you cant specifically search within a certain phone model sub forum

really?
You both need to tone down a bit, please.
Generally speaking, do search in the thread first, say you're running AOKP ROM, then search within that AOKP thread for answer first. If generic issue like OP stated, search within this forum, i777. Then expand the search to XDA site and finally Google.
To OP, my suggestion, pls do provide more info if you want more useful help.
Saying "why kies stop working on my device" getting you nowhere since we don't know which ROM you're on, what made you say so, ......

It's too late but once again, for other readers, pls stop using zedomax thingy, seriously.
When you said "it doesn't work", how so?
+ Can't connect to PC? or
+ successfully connected but not getting the update?
Each person, each case is different.
P.S. "i have another post with a-lot more information on what is happening" is totally useless, next time post related info within the OP. No one will search your "another post" for info.
Thanks for the heads up. I cand do everything normally, but it says your device does not support updating via kies. I want sure if it was csc settings or what.

This and other threads have run their course. g0nz0oo720 - Your questions are generally available quite readily on Google. Please use the search features available to avoid problems like this in the future.
I have been messing with this for hours. Just want to know if I'm wasting my time.

I installed the APK that was available and it works fine. Though I guess works fine is relative as it works as best as the application works. If you are having issues maybe try to reinstall it again:
http://widefide.com/mobile/download-and-install-s-voice-on-any-android-ics-device
thought samsung shut off the connection to the servers until the s3 was released.
could be wrong w/ some outdated info though
I'm officially done with s-voice....for now....

Nothing to lose sleep over. It is nothing exciting and even if you got installed likely would not use it. Does not really compare to Siri and apps on the android market likely work better
I manually changed my build prop and got a bootloop -___-
It's working for me now. I installed the version with the build.prop edit and it's working great.

Update: I took a breather and reevaluated. I FINALLY got it. Just going to go over steps
1. From xda news, s- voice the xda way I got the download
2. In Root exp /sdcard/download-voice.talk.apk -move it to /data/app
3.fix permissions rw-r--r--
*Do not install
4. Reboot (app installs on reboot)
Enjoy!
I haven't had a chance to really use it, just tested a few things. I will update later.

This one's working guys. Samsung blocked the access to non-GS3 devices but devs have cracked the app Its working fine on all ICS devices.
When I got up this morning Talk on my phone was not connected. When I try to sign in everything is greyed out and nothing happens.
I have tried , rebooting and factory reset but neither fixed the problem. I am still able to use and sync gmail without problems.
Any help would be appreciated since talk is heavily used by me.
Thanks,
Noob-tard
