Hello all. Has anyone tried using a USB controller with the Acer A200 ICS tablet? I have a Logitech G-UF13A. It's a dual analog controller.

I am wanting to play N.O.V.A.2 but it does not work. The only way it responds is four seemingly random buttons (meaning not the d-pad or stick) move you in four directions and one button pauses it. No looking around, no fire control, nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Nobody knows?
Between here and the Android Central forums about 500 people have viewed this post (or the similar one posted over there) and nobody seems to know. Am I the only one who wants to play games with a controller? Haha please comment if you have any suggestions. Should I go buy a different one? Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Im not sure about that tablet or that controller but Ive been using a PS3 controller wit tha sixaxis app for rooted devices. Wireless bluetooth gaming (easier with the usb to set up tho) and u can adjust the touch profiles for any game. I've used it on NOVA2, GTAIII, Modern Combat 3, Asphalt racing, and Spider-Man.

It can be used on HTC devices such as Diamond via the HTC ExtUSB. Touch HD has the HTC ExtUSB also. But I tried it on my Touch HD,it turns to be an unsupported USB device. Anybody know how to fix and let it work on Touch HD?
I think, there was a long thread about that.
It seems, that our Touch HD doesn't support more remote control over USB than just "call", "voice dialing" and "end call". And thats solved over one button I think (like the original headphones).
Thanks dude, but I still hope that some one can fix it,I do need this conveniece while listening music on the street.
I would really appreciate, if some dev could somehow manage it.
Your headphone look really great and I would buy myself a pair too, if they would work
I tried,it didn't work anyway,although HD has a ExtUSB,but I do hope someone can make a driver for it
Folks,
I know it's annoying that the HD's usb port does not support audio. The issue has been discussed widely here. Please consider a search (e.g. for "RC E100") before starting a new thread.
One search result would have been this thread.
HTH,

Thank you very much,dude.
I've been thinking about this thing, and tried to search around on the net, but haven't found anything yet.
Do you guys think it's possible to make the mini Pro into a bluetooth keyboard for like media centers and even other phones without HW-keyboards? I know that a BT-keyboard from ebay doesn't cost that much, but when we got a phone with HW-keyboard, touch surface and BT in the first place, why not try to make it possible?
Atleast I would love that.
Just some of my thoughts.
Greets!
I have the same idea but every app i found must install host in PC
the best of this is GRemote !
why people want to use small keyboards??? when bigs are so cheap!! after few hors it gives pain in fingure..!! so plz stop thinkin!!
and we can't use one phone's keyboard for another phone that's for sure!!

Problem is.. I can't get my XboX controller to work with it. It worked once yesterday, I just inserted it and it worked. No more after that though. It just doesn't pick it up. How would I go about making this work?
If I have to root, np. I'm currently on the latest stock firmware.
thanks.

Whatever it was supposed to do, it didn't work, unfortunately
It would be best if you bought a PS3 controller, as the tablet gives more support to this controller.
I myself play xbox, although im buying a PS3 controller as it has better support.

I don't think your suppose to use a XBOX controller, It seems a PlayStation controller is suppose to support the tablet

I can understand the reasoning behind using an xbox controller;better to hold and you might already have an xbox; but as stated above, using a PS3 controller will be most beneficial to you considering it is a sony device and even says on the box that it is supported

I am not an Android developer but I am very capable of understanding and writing code.
2 days ago I went on holiday with my family and took my brand new Xbox controller together with my sparkly Huawei mate 20 pro. My son and I play Minecraft and I knew he would want to grab some playtime when we were not doing anything so I figured I would hook up my controller to the phone because I read that Minecraft pocket edition has native support for the Xbox controller.
To my disappointment, the moment I hooked up my controller, I experienced terrible drifting to the left. The camera constant panned to the left.
After A LOT of research and after downloading a game controller testing app, I could confirm that this was not a problem with the game, but the controller having an off-center analog stick as an in the below snapshot.

So just like on the steam app or in most games that use a controller, they have a dead zone setting to compensate for this anomaly.
My question is this:
Is there a way to edit a config file on the Android 10 platform that can increase the dead zone of the analog stick or is there an app that doesn't require root to do the same??
