The answer is: "Why would anyone intentionally use a 3.1 ROM? It's 2012...".
(also, Pershoot's kernel works with just about any HC ROM).

ICS is the future, Time to evolve mang! Someone's pulling a pikachu and deciding not to evolve.

cmenard commented in his Overstock thread that he'll have an update coming soon.
Ttabbal says he'll be bringing it to Dragon, as well. If only someone could make a voodoo sound compatible kernel for Double Rainbow (Gingerbread).
Ohhh nice..soo i mean i would like to have it on 2.3.2 and up..i love the voodoo.sound

Me too, but it will not happen without vibrant 2.3 source, from what I hear.
Oohh man...thats bad

Have you tried CM7? I have not but I believe it is a GB ROM and there is a kernel with voodoo sound available.
I've not. I stalk the thread, and have seen too many bugs. The data issues and battery life makes it a no-go for me.
Wait I though we already had v5

Looks like that is the only kernel to update so far. Giving it a shot.

If your running the latest ota with 2.3.4 then you have the only working kernel until we get the source from htc.

One would think that a custom kernel would be found under development. I know virus had the ziggy kernel so just wasn't sure if the source code had been released or not. Using the xda premium app isn't quite the same as a PC.

Blaming the app?. Oh come on. Lol..
I can guarantee that when the source is released and a kernel is made its not going to be hard to miss. You'll see it everywhere.

CM7 oem kernel link?

Noticed there's no download link to the stock CM7 kernel in faux's kernel thread. Looks like it might have been there before?
Anyone have a link they could point me to?

If its a dumb question, why not help someone understand why? Is it readily available and I just don't know it? Obviously I'm new to this. And yes, I'm serious. I've flashed the enhanced 1.0ghz kernel and wanted the stock cm7 kernel backed up to my SD card.

Current stock CM7 kernel isn't linked far as I know. Maybe you could pull it from the CM7 zip file.

GTA III: Ten Year Anniversary

I have Nook Tablet CM9 and I have GTA installed but the controls to move the character aren't showing up so I am basically stuck in one spot. It has not worked before so I am just wondering if something's wrong or I need to change the settings.
I've noticed too, it's a bug. I think it has to do with graphical issues
Any Work Around
Do you think there is any work around for this bug because it works on other devices (even some lower end devices) but not the nook. Why?
Just download cm7 or a stock 1.4.0 rooted rom.. should do the trick. Basically any cm9 or 4.0 rom on the nook tablet cant handle it..

What is the best Rom/Kernel combo for my Archos 101 G9 turbo

Really looking to root my new tablet. What is the best, most stable rom and kernel for this? Any help would be great?
Sent from my ARCHOS 101G9 using xda app-developers app
Everyone has favorite. I prefer [email protected] V03, but some people prefer rooted stock, cm9 and aokp. Also few users still use honeycomb. If you want stable, bugless solution, go for [email protected]

I use CM9. Might try AOKP when I find some time to backup everything just in case...

AFAIK there is only 1 other kernel for it: the kernel for Ubuntu. Just use the "stock" kernel.

Check the android general hacking section. Supercharger is a choice that can't go wrong.

I'm doing this today at work. Either going to brick my g9, or make it smooth and fast. Hoping its the latter. Its the perfect size for a tablet, but she's a little slow and laggy. Supercharging and ics blue will hopefully cure my problems. Are the supercharger file included in the blue post?
