I have a Lumia since a week before and everything is awesome!
But when I open the Nokia music, there is no "mix radio" menu. If I click "gigs" it tells that can not connect to Nokia Music at the moment, try again later.
I am in Bulgaria, if it is regional service but I"ve been watching a review in Bulgaria and it it working. Hope to be temporary Nokia Music problem and they fix it.
Is there anybody with the same issue?

Bought a new Lumia 710 last week (amazingly great price for a very decent phone!) and I've just realized today that my volume only increases in steps of 4 (on the WP 0-30 scale), ie. 0,1,2,3 settings have the same volume, then 4,5,6,7 are the same (a lot louder), then 8,9,10,11 and it's like that all the way up to 30.
It happens when playing music or podcasts, with headphones or on the loudspeaker.
Pretty annoying if you're listening to music - sometimes impossible to get the best volume level
Anyone else had similar issues?
You already installed the updates from Zune?
Yep, installed all the updates!
Funny enough this only happens when playing stuff using the built-in zune app, it works fine when playing youtube videos.
I have the same problem! Is this a software problem or only my phone have it? It happend on every rom!
Yes it is a software problem. It is described in threads here in the lumia forum. ( Listening to music with earplugs and a volume at 14 or below brings the volume to max when having an incomming call for example )
it is solved with the latest (tango) and nokia specific updates, or at least me and my friend have no sound bugs anymore
*cheers* :good:

Unfortunately, this didin't work for me. Installed official Tango update for central Europe with no changes.
I am too experiencing the same issue on my lumia 710. There is only 8 levels of volume in zune player/any zune based audio player.
Wondering if anyone has a fix for this as it is very annoying. Sometimes I cannot get the perfect volume for my situation. Sometimes either too loud or too soft.
I wonder why almost no one else notices this issue as its a huge one in my opinion. First thing I noticed when I received my lumia 710 and put some music on it. I know its happening to all if not most 710's because I have gone through 2 already and they all have the same issue.
On tango rom btw.

No, this is not the issue OP is talking about. Read more closely please.
I understand what you mean but seriously... after installing lumiatrix its improved a lot... i can actually sense the volume distributed properly
Hi,
*
Since the beginning I am in trouble with the Lumia 920, and the Bluetooth pairing to my car (Ford).
I use the bluetooth connection for phone calls and music. For the phone part, no worries.
*
But, for the music part, it's a bit disastrous. When I switch on my car's "BT Audio", so unfortunately I was not already in the app XBox Music, or my music was not already paused, the phone hangs ! Impossible to meet the screen during several minutes. If I don't forget to open the XBox Music app before, it works...
Yesterday, the phone even rebooted while playing music. This morning, bluetooth was disconnected several times.
*
I've never encountered this kind of problem on any of my smartphones, whether Android or Windows Phone (Lumia 800 and 900 included). Thinking that I had a hardware problem, I had to exchange the Lumia 920 by another...but I am in the same !
Anyone else experiencing this trouble? It seems to be a software bug ... I hope it will be fixed soon

Before I FUBAR'd my 920 it was working perfectly with my Toyota Bluetooth.
Does your car have SYNC? If so, that's VERY odd since it's powered by Microsoft. If not, maybe your Bluetooth needs an update? I just got a new car and my previous one, also a Toyota, used Blulogic for the Bluetooth. It was HORRIBLE!
I am actually also having problems even with taking or making a phonecall in my car with the 920 .. worked fine with my Titan but now it's simply not transferring sound anymore.
I don't care about the BT Audio for music but at least the Phone part should be working?!
I have a WIPCOM 3D - Peugeot.
Will test some more later today and see if I can get it to work properly.
Summary to now:
Connection: works
Addressbook transfer: works
Sound when making a phonecall: dead.
Same issue here
I am having the same issues and thought it was the new phone. I even did a factory reset of the 920, but am still having issues. The phone will play a song, and then audio just goes dead as if paused or lock up totally. Very frustrating. I had no problems with my old iPhone 4. This also happens with the Nokia GPS app with either stuttering audio or no audio at all for the turn by turn voice prompts.
bluetooth stuttering
My 920 works great on calls...audio however...every 3 or 4 minutes sometimes longer sometimes shorter...the song starts stuttering until I either unlock my phone or hit pause button on my Clarion headunit then hit play again it will be fine for another 3 or 4 min....

Just to clarify more, it won't accept mp3's, or wma, it accepts amr and wav files fine, can it be the roger's firmware? Does att have the same thing?
I'm considering flashing 7.8 with nokia care suite. Being the first time I do this, I wanna know a few things
1)Is is possible to restore if something goes wrong without losing all the data?
2) What kind of nasty things are there, waiting for me on 7.8? Crashes, bugs, etc etc?
Hi,
Firmware downgrade is supported on LUMIA phones.
And data will be lost - of course!
BR
It's all fine except for the volume reduction. If you use your phone to listen to music or podcasts, be warned that the new maximum volume is about the equivalent of the old 15 / 30.
I Don't wanna loose my SMS and savegames.
So I consider making a backup of my Lumia 800 with the help of this app and upgrade with Navifirm and Nokia Care Suite to 7.8. Is it possible to restore the backup with zune for getting the SMS and savegames back or wouldn't it work?

The volume on my lumia didn't become lower, I got once a message that listening loud music might be dangerous for my hearing and that's all!
Thing is, I updated it then went back to 7.5
The Bluetooth file share app wasn't available for download. Any cluse as to why this may happen?
Yeah, I am facing the same problems with BT Transfer and Ringtone maker. It looks like there is some region restriction. Do you know which are the working regions?

I'm still wondering how some people can't notice any difference. Well, good for you... I guess. Because for me it's just horrible. >.<

I am using Nokia Lumia 920 Mobile. After recent Amber Updates, FM Radio got enabled on my phone. But, there is volume problem with FM radio, it continuously goes up and down. It doesn't stays stable. But, at the same time if you will try to play song on music app then it works properly.
So, basically there is volume problem with FM radio on Lumia 920 Mobile.
[Just for info, I also tried to play FM with different app by downloading from Store, but again I am facing same issue]
I also asked the same question in Microsoft Community but still its of no use, instead I got to know that other peoples are also facing same some problem. If anyone else faced the same problem and got any solution then please submit here. I also tried Hard Reset but I am still facing same issue.
