I flashed CM7 on my ATT S2 a couple of months ago and everything is normal in general. This morning I suddenly found the phone is stuck in the CM7 boot screen and won't go anywhere past it. I did not do anything to the phone before that happened. I removed and re-attach the battery. And even wiped cache in CWM. But nothing worked so far. What should I do? Thanks!!
Try to reflash it. Get ready for some flames.

Try wiping data (obviously you'll lose your data).
If that doesn't work, reflash CyanogenMod, or whatever rom you want.
Re-flash CM7 on top of it without wiping first, if that doesn't work then a wipe is probably the next step.

I had the same problem on my Captivate once, and data wipe is the only thing that fixed it.

same problem here bro ... did u get any solution
try wiping dalvik and cache and re install the radio alone.
not sure if this the right radio http://briefmobile.com/download-android-2-3-4-gingerbread-for-motorola-atrix-4g#radio
I had same problem once before. Fixed by uninstalling SetCPU, booting to CWM, clearing Dalvik and cache, installing stock kernel, rebooting, let phone sit for 10 minutes, reboot to CWM, wipe Dalvik and cache, install OC kernel again, reboot.
Hope this helps you. Cleared up the problem for me.
(Also, if you got the problem right after flashing a new ROM, flashing the ROM again may fix).

Did you come from the stock kernel or a different kernel? I know that Faux uses a custom module and requires you to flash from a stock kernel.
Does your bluetooth turn on?
Thanks guys! I'm gonna try flashing to stock kernel, I was coming from kholk's kernel, and then really flashing faux's kernel.

Who wants to use a touchscreen for recovery?
http://teamw.in/project/twrp2
Pick HP Touchpad from the right download the zip and flash from recovery. Reboot.
You'll have a new TWRP menu item.

Just saw this an hour ago and it is indeed the future of flashing!
Love the touchscreen feature for saving buttons.

Is it worth the change... Any benefits? Like to know before I leap!
Ive tried acmeinstalling this dozens of times, and i just cant get it to go in, any ideas?
The downside of this is that Rom Manager will no longer work? (if you remove cwm).

Also, what if for whatever reason touch isn't working? For these two reasons I'll stick with CWM for now.
great stuff, keeping conventional cwm for now, just in case touch screen/digitizer goes out..

This is making me los battery really fast. Does anyone know how I can I fix this?

I'm running Checkrom Revo V6 with Speedmod K-21 kernel. Already tried reflashing both of those things and cleaning cache and stuff.
Thanks
I had a similar problem after switching to that ROM and applying a theme. I went back to a stock ROM. If you think this might be similar to your scenario then switching back to stock to rule things out or not can't hurt.
Did you perform a factory reset before flashing checkrom v6? I'm running checkrom with siyah kernel and have never had a random reboot, I wiped data, cache, and dalvik cache before flash

So I went and restored my phone but it seems to be stuck on the optimizing apps/starting apps screen and won't go anywhere else? Anyway I can fix this? I've tried to flash a boost mobile (my carrier) stock rom but I get the same problem.

Which ROM/Kernel are you using? You can get better help if you post in that forum. If you're using stock rom, make sure you're flashing it in the right way, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e-2015/general/stocks-firmwares-moto-e-t3113235 for instructions.

@gameSTICKER has a good point. In addition, have you updated your partitions to the respective version of the ROM you are flashing? Out of curiosity, which build and version stock ROM have you flashed to your xt1526, are you using a custom recovery and, if so, what version?
I would not recommend to flash the 13.0-20160401 nightly. The put a "MOD" in front of almost everything! :silly:
Went back to 13.0-20160331
Screenshot?
I'm on nexus 5 and this is really annoying

And there is still no way to disable it.
If you look at the date today, you'll understand what is going on. Flash yesterday's or tomorrow's nightly (if you see this in a delay), and your "problem" shall be fixed
april's fool day
They also put references to Trump campaign. "Drumpf", icon, slogan
Boot started with
MOD Drumpf Make Cyanogenmod MOD Again
Flash previous build or wait for next nightlies...
