Hi,
I've been having random reboots. It's nor exactly a reboot what happens is sometime when I unlock the screen the phone doesn't respond and 4 seconds later the soft keys light up and then the screen goes on with the media scanner running again. This is making me los battery really fast. Does anyone know how I can I fix this?

I'm running Checkrom Revo V6 with Speedmod K-21 kernel. Already tried reflashing both of those things and cleaning cache and stuff.
Thanks
I had a similar problem after switching to that ROM and applying a theme. I went back to a stock ROM. If you think this might be similar to your scenario then switching back to stock to rule things out or not can't hurt.
Did you perform a factory reset before flashing checkrom v6? I'm running checkrom with siyah kernel and have never had a random reboot, I wiped data, cache, and dalvik cache before flash

same problem here bro ... did u get any solution
try wiping dalvik and cache and re install the radio alone.
not sure if this the right radio http://briefmobile.com/download-android-2-3-4-gingerbread-for-motorola-atrix-4g#radio
I had same problem once before. Fixed by uninstalling SetCPU, booting to CWM, clearing Dalvik and cache, installing stock kernel, rebooting, let phone sit for 10 minutes, reboot to CWM, wipe Dalvik and cache, install OC kernel again, reboot.
Hope this helps you. Cleared up the problem for me.
(Also, if you got the problem right after flashing a new ROM, flashing the ROM again may fix).

Did you come from the stock kernel or a different kernel? I know that Faux uses a custom module and requires you to flash from a stock kernel.
Does your bluetooth turn on?
Thanks guys! I'm gonna try flashing to stock kernel, I was coming from kholk's kernel, and then really flashing faux's kernel.

I flashed CM7 on my ATT S2 a couple of months ago and everything is normal in general. This morning I suddenly found the phone is stuck in the CM7 boot screen and won't go anywhere past it. I did not do anything to the phone before that happened. I removed and re-attach the battery. And even wiped cache in CWM. But nothing worked so far. What should I do? Thanks!!
Try to reflash it. Get ready for some flames.

Try wiping data (obviously you'll lose your data).
If that doesn't work, reflash CyanogenMod, or whatever rom you want.
Re-flash CM7 on top of it without wiping first, if that doesn't work then a wipe is probably the next step.

I had the same problem on my Captivate once, and data wipe is the only thing that fixed it.
I have battery drain problem. All i did now is: full wipe/full format (system, cache, preload etc.)/back to newest 1-file 4.1.2 stock XEO ROM.
Nothing changed, all i can see is that my CPU is 100% usage, what is the problem?

Tried all stock ROMs (excepting Android 2.3) and nothing changed, my phone gets overheated. May it be hardware problem? If yes how to repair it? My phone turns off my hands several times and maybe that's the cause.
first try custom rom stock or cm with custom kernel like dorimanx. if this dnt help try with different battery if this snt help could be motherboard problem. but first try flash dorimanx kernel on ur rom and check how phone behave

I bought my phone at 2011. My battery was just too old. I have bought new battery and everything is fine now!
Every time I boot I get the error message showing in the screenshot.
I'm using CyanogenMod 11 latest snapshot.
Any ideas what it means?
Don't seem to have any functional problems apart from the gallery app FC occasionally and I've had a couple of random reboots.

If it only happens at boot, it's just a minor annoyance / glitch that I have seen on various builds of CM on other devices. You can try to clear the cache / data of the phone app in Settings / Applications / All and see if that helps. Can also try clearing cache and dalvik cache in recovery and fixing permissions. That or wait till there is a more stable version of CM for your phone and update.
Gallery issue - same thing - clear the cache and data stuff in the Application section of Settings. This could be due to not using the best set of Gapps for your setup as well.
For random reboots, that can be kernel related. I'd double check the thread for CM to see if there are suggestions for another kernel or fix for that.
Thanks. I've tried clearing the dalvik and it still happens. I'll try clearing app cache in settings.
If I clear the data in the gallery app will it wipe all my photos and vids?
Also. I can't find the CM thread ?

Nope, clearing that will not delete pics, just resets the thumbnails and such.

But like I mentioned, if it only happens on boot and the phone app works fine the rest of the time, it's just an annoyance and not a real issue.
Hi.
Everytime I reboot my z2, it gets past the Sony logo, powered by Android and then at the purple waves thing, I hear the sound and then it freezes and restarts.
I then have to boot into recovery and wipe dalvik cache. Any suggestions on why this is happening and how to fix it?
I'm running a rooted lollipop.

If you have installed xposed framework then that's probably the cause. Uninstall it to avert your problem, that is if possible because I know there's no simple way yet on removing alpha version of xposed framework in lollipop. But this link can help you HERE FOR MANUAL REMOVAL
Good luck @Skanin
Yes, I have xposed installed, I will try to uuninstall it
Thank you both!

I got the same problem, and I found that there is no regularity for the bootloops, some times it happens everytime when I reboot my device, sometimes it does not happen. Anyway, I give up to use Xposed now.
