I've got an HTC Wildfire updatetd to Froyo. Rooted with unrevoked3 and then i installed CM 7.1 and GAPPS.
Everytime I boot my phone following message appears:
The application Status Bar (process com.android.systemui) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

I looked for some solutions in different forums but didn't find a fitting answer.
I wiped my system via recovery and set up Cyanogenmod 7.1 again, but the status bar still doesn't start.
Has someone an idea what to do?
greetings
Onyx
Can i update this systemui seperatly?

go into your appdrawer and there should be a tab for widgets(top left).
Just flashed new helly bean but now when fone rings....no ringtone. Is this happening to anyone else?
HellyBean Showcase
Installed Hellybean (9/11/12 version) on my Showcase (Cspire) and it works fine as long as it is in airplane mode. When out of airplane mode I get the constant error of Process com.android.phone stopped unexpectedly. I've flashed it several times but this error is there every time. Have i missed something in the installation process or is it something that can be fixed within the settings. Any help and suggestions greatly appreciated,

I have similar problem on aokp using Devil kernel. Ringer does not work if phone has not been touched for about 30 min or longer. If I understand right this is an issue with deep sleep. Maybe someone can confirm this.

Hello.
Today I've tried to install my first KitKat-custom-rom om my device (Xperia Neo / Hallon). The fastboot of the boot.img etc. was sucessful. Also the installation of the ROM (in CWM) said that it was completed. Furthermroe the reboot was not conspicuous. But now (after the boot, where you normally can choose your language) I get this error "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped". What I have done wrong? I also have tried Ultrakat, but get the same error. Please help me! I need my thelephone. Thanks. Bergfex

Try different rom
If your phone starts up now and ur able to go to developer settings try
Settings - developer options - launch tools - bad behaviour - crash the main app thread
Today I build my first (working) android rom based on CM.
When booted up the process com.android.phone keeps on crashing every second or something, I tried to use adb logcat but it keeps waiting for a device.
In the windows device manager I don't see a new device and when connecting over the network I get an error: protocol fault (status read)
Any suggestions at what it could be?
The rom that is currently running has been continued from where it errored out, I am rebuilding it now.
I will keep you up-to-date
Thanks,
Tim
