Hello everyone,
I've been using Dolphin HD browser for a while (on both my phone and my TFP), and it's offered pretty much what i want in a browser. However, I have not been able to copy text from the address bar. Normally the clipboard menu shows up at the top of the screen when you select some text, but when you tap to select the text in the address bar, the text box seems to appear over where the clipboard menu should be. I hope this makes sense...is anyone else having this problem or has anyone figured out a solution?

I know there must be an easier way to begin composing a text message but have not figured it out.
Currently I have this set-up:
The native Motorola message widget is on the home screen
To compose a text I:
tap Message widget
tap "Go to Messaging"
tap "Text Messaging"
tap "New text message"
Then I am able to begin my text input.
Any thoughts on shortening this procedure?
I erased the message widget from my home screen and put the stock text message app short cut in place of the message one.
So I tap text messages
Then tap new message
Then type text

I use launcher pro and handcent messaging, so on my dock I have the handcent app docked and use the swipe feature to start the "quick compose" feature of handcent to start a new text message. One swipe and I'm on my way. Love the set up.

Click to collapse
Edit: Nevermind found how to do this. Thanks for the tip!
I am trying to maximize viewing in chrome, but there seems no way to go full screen (hide tabs etc.) in the Chrome browser. I am on a Samsung tab2 7 running jellybean 4.1.2. Settings for Chrom3 are very limited (missing items that are documented in Google Chrome help.)
Any ideas?
Dolphin browser also will not go fullscreen: double tab just increases the text size a bit. No tab line option, no auto hiding of tab as you browse down.
Thanks,
Barry
For about a month, my fonts in my SMS app have been truncating. These are also device wide, on any app that has text up in the upper left.
Its turning MOM into ...
Its random, sometimes it shows MOM, sometimes M.... or MO...
On some apps, I cant even select an option because all options are "..."
Any ideas what could be causing this? Running VIPER ROM.

Can someone explain to me why chrome will not let me type in the search bar it keeps showing this.
Highlight the address bar first then longpress to copy it and it won't show the message. Seems like a new feature. I can't explain why it does it.

Hi all!
I will try to keep it short, I can't find out how to disable the 'magnifying bar' while selecting text that I typed in Facebook, WhatsApp, ColorNote, Chrome (url bar) etc. Basically everywhere. Tried switching keyboards, wasn't the 'cause'. Tried looking trough settings etc. (especially the 'Accessibility' settings) but I couldn't find an option to disable it. Also, I don't think I have any apps installed that can cause this. Here's a screenshot of the 'problem': http://imgur.com/a/uGvpa
You can see that a 'magnifying bar' appeared above the text I am selecting at that moment, it's only there when I'm holding it. I can also move my finger while holding and the 'magnifying bar' follows. It only works on text I've typed, so not on static text like emails or something.
I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 running on Android 7.0 with Samsung Experience 8.1. I hope that someone can help me with this
Thanks in advance!
