my ace seems to freexe evert now and then ...either when i on wifi go facebook it tends to freeze for no reason ..i use lewa rom and i just updated my version ( full wiped too ) and when i was restoring my tita backup it freezes ..is there a way for me to full format my phone back to stock??

Hello.
I am using a stock rom on my phone with cmw. As you many custom roms are released so i want to flash and try them. But the problem is that every time i flash a new rom, do i need to reinstall all the apps and do the settings? I mean that takes alot of time. Any way to backup and restore everything e.g apps,settings,data,sms etc? Last time when upgrading from stock 2.2.1 to stock 2.3.4 i had tried titanium backup feature for this but that didnt work,, everything got messed up and i had to flash the rom again

Today I changed my cm7 rom to sanginger ace 3.6 as i have been testing various roms to find wich one is suitable for me... cm7 seemed unstable after long use. firstly i flashed with a stock kph rom then rooted it , installed cwm thn flashd sanginger ace... bt it was a long method n if i feel tryin any other rom then what shud i do?
Ques. 1 - Could sanginger or any other custom rom be flashed over another custom rom or we always have to flash the phone with a stock rom using odin ???
Ques 2 - All my apps were in sd card and i had made back up of all using titanium backup... but when i flashed stock rom using odin -> rooted -> installed cwm -> flashed sanginger ace -> installed titanium backup , wen i tried restoring them , it just failed.. those apps were there but with a line over them...I was really disappointed and now m busy installing all those apps yet again Where was I wrong I would like to knw...

Just so you know, when you backed up ur files using Titanium you are able to pull those out to your computer to back up your back up, (luls). Using pro-version you're able to synch it with dropbox
Ok so i am noob with Samsung and dealing with flashing and all these stuff, i just switched from iPhone to Galaxy S3 GT-I9300, i have read so many posts and watched so many videos, all what i want is some clarification
1* I have managed to download CM 9.0.0 for my phone and installed it through ROM Manager , i have noticed that my Data service is not working, am living in Kuwait "Middle East" the wifi is working fine no issues and i enabled the Data Service through the settings, how can i fix the issues with the data plan although it is working fine after i restored to my stock ROM
2*Can u tell me what the use of the Odin except rooting and installing a stock Firmware ?
3* correct me if i am wrong but the ROM will only do some sort of interface for the phone , as we say in IT "GUI" of course not to forget to mention the speed and tweaks for hardware of the device it self, i mean it is not a complete OS "Firmware" mostly GUI with Tweaks.
4*While doing the installation of the ROM and remove it and getting back to my stock ROM , nothing from my data has been changed, does that means every time i install any ROM and get back to the old one my data will not be effected on the stock ROM?
5* what would happen if i tried to install a ROM not compatible with the firmware i have ? and how would i fix that ?
6*How can i tell if the ROM is compatible with the firmware i have? , for example in my case i downloaded CM 9.0.0 for my S3 which has 4.0.4 firmware
7* I have understand that the ROM must be compatible with my phone version , what i mean with version like International version or US carriers versions, am i Right?

4 all your data will be there unles you do a full wipe in recovery which is recomended before installing any ROM.
5 A ROM isnt specific to your firmware.If you have an international version which is GT I9300 Or GT I9300T any ROM from the I9300 threads will work. Dont flash anything made for the non international versions

You do a full wipe. A full wipe is always recommended to prevent some weird bugs.

Full wipe
install again the rom
install gapps
then watch if data is working
If yes enjoy
if not install roma manager and try to install different modem.
repeat until u find a modem working for your network
If work enjoy
if not try to install CM10 Experimental
...

I have a SGS3 its keep rebooting by its self. ( i can go in the phone but after some mins its rebooting)
and i have tryed alot of roms but still dos it..
i come from denmark and use xxblh3
but if i install Stock rom its not booting past the samsung logo
any1 that know whats rong ?

Did you tried making a factory reset (data wipe) from the recovery?
yes reset ยจ+ catch and the ohter one in advance
Make sure you flash the right kernel.. if your rom is based on JB, then flash a JB kernel. Otherwise, you will be stuck on bootloop (as in what situation you are in now(

im not in bootloop.. i can boot to the phone and use apps and that but its rebooting by its self after some mins

You have to flash another kernel. Mine did the same.
Im also fron DK, and I assume you have the I9300 intl?
If your current ROM is a JB, then try flashing siyah kernel.

Oh. I thought you were on bootloop since you stated that you couldnt go past the samsung logo. Lol. Good to hear you got it sorted out

i tried to install it today on my s3
it froze on installing for 30 min now, draining my battery :crying:
I followed all the steps..
i did a full wipe since my phone is from stock 4.1.2
this is my first time rooting and installing a custom ROM on S3
but ive been rooting and installing ROMs on SL and tab and never had any problems..

try re-sonwload the rom and re-flash
if that dont solve it! just flash back with odin!

No mate omega is also stock based so i foresee no problems
