I need the original bootabimation of ace as a zip file .anyone has it? Or is it possible to change qmg to zip?
Remove the bootanimation.zip on stock rom and you will have it bacl againg

Hi, I have a Vibrant with Axura 2.0.5 , I'm using Root Explorer yo find bootanimation.qmg in system/media but, the only file that can I see for bootanimation is the bootanimation.zip.
How can I change the bootanimition ? I need to extract this .zip file and replace the files or what ??

hello,just downloaded this program and iam trying to change my bootanimation,but when i go to download it says:your current boot animations list doesnt match current boot list online.would u like to update? i tabed ok but nothing.in fonts section it works fine.any help?

bootsamsung.gmg and bootsamsungloop.gmg are the Original Samsung boot animation files .
You only have bootanimation zip if you installed one or you rom is custom with a bootanimation zip

Go here : http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/ You can get lots of themes, icons, fonts etc. The boot animation doesn't work on stock roms apparently, but you can try. Everything else works fine.
Hello guys , i'm new here .. just got Galaxy S 2 and want to re-enable the CRT-Off animation effect , i went through the tutorial from free your android dot com
did the decompile and changed the value in the XML file to false .. my problem is how to put the Framework-res.apk file in the shape like it was .. tried copy and replace with Rootexplorer twice and end up with bootloop twice also i had a backup so i restored ... i'm using the stock rom jk2 v2.3.5 rooted with the speedmod-s2-k2-16 ... i found the apk manager tool here on XDA it's a handy tool but still don't know to achieve this with the the tool ... so all i need is the CRT off animation back on for a start

After recompiling framework-res.apk you have to copy META-INF and AndroidManifest.xml from the original apk.

Rebuild apk. For example.
Apktool b c:\framework-res framework-resnew.apk
Then rename framework-res.apk and frameworknew.apk to framework-res.zip and framework-resnew.zip. extract framework-res.zip and put meta-inf and androidmanifest.xml into framework-resnew.zip. delete framework-res.zip and rename framework-resnew.zip to framework-res.apk.

dude thats not 'bootsamsung.qmg' thats 'bootsamsungloop.qmg' get the difference?

if u want to change bootanimation on stock rom u need to do it manually..
follow this guide if u want bootanimation on stock

to change boot animation on samsung, u need to replace to bootanimation and samsungi files in /system/bin before u can add ur zip to /system/media
this is because samsung uses qmg files
just search up how to change boot animation in samsung, and u will find these files, they work on every samsung device

Heyho vlado i have also the s3neo and i had also have the same problem so if u wanna fix that go to the playstore download the ES file explorer. For the next step download a bootsamsung.qmg ther are a view at the site 4shared.com now go in your Es file explorer and swich on the rootexplorer so the app can change the system files go /device/system/media and there u will delete the S5bootanimation.zip then u go to there where ever u have downloadet the bootsamsung.qmg folder and copie the bootsamsung.qmg into /device/system/media!!! Thats it so for explaining why u couldn't flash the bootanumation.zip: Our device is only working with qmg files idon't no why but its so. If u want i could upload the original .qmg file fore u

I flashed the zip file on my gt-i9301i but the boot animation takes long time and the boot music finish playing and the boot animation still running for a while /how can i fix this???!
