Hi everyone!
So I was trying to update my X10 from a CM7 mod to M&M`S MiUI 2.3.9, but when I tried to flash the kernel necessary for it, Flashtool wouldn't install it due to an error (12/055/2012 14:55:06 - ERROR - ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CLASS="SECURITY_CLASS";ER R_DYNAMIC="SIN header verification failed").
I didn't think anything of it, and decided to try installing the ROM anyways because I'm retarded. Now my phone won't get past the Sony Ericsson logo when booted, I can't flash anything with Flashtool because it just comes up with that error again, and PC Companion and Update Service won't repair it.
ANY and ALL help will be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi i have problems with my X10 mini E10a when im install the xrecovery all work fine but when im reset stuck in SE white name, im enter in xrecovery and format all and reset all bad idea im not have any more xrecovery and SE white stuck continue.
Im install PC companion and SEUS and both tellme im have the latest firmware already.
Im try to flashtool but sendme with generic firmware X10a_1.0_2_1_A_0_435.ftf
error in debug mode.

That is very easy... 1st open Sony Ericsson PC Companion, then press Support Zone, Phone update, and select Repair Phone, I hope it solves ur problem.
Then before doing something make a nandroid

You have to try with SE Update Service.
When it tells you that you are up to date, you press INSTALL and it asks you to wether install or not? You say yes...
Then it renews your phone to factory settings.
When you use SEUS, it asks you if you want to update software OR repair phone. Select repair phone, and that will fix everything.
You should back up your rom in the recovery. If you want to use custom roms, you must do this.
Yes you can upgrade straight to 2.3 custom roms from the position you're in. Download the correct ROM, and kernel, flash the kernel, put the new rom.zip on your SD card and flash it.
There are many, many, many threads like this so if none of this works you can still find how to fix your phone.

I got a new phone that is purely for gaming, so I rooted it, got xrecovery, CWM, and installed a ROM called CM-X. I installed CM-X and it wouldn't boot. I have a recovery, which is ****ed. I don't have debugging on now for some reason. So my question is, how can I flash my phone to normal? I have everything to flash it. But no debugging = no flash. Please I need help, thank you all.

Flash back to stock ROM using SEUS. I think that's all that is left.

SEUS isn't finding it. I have xRecovery and CWM on my phone. Is there a stock ROM .zip that can be installed?

Hmmm. So your FlashTool managed to find your x8, but your SEUS cant ? Do you have PC Suite on your PC, because when you install it it install a pfone drivers too. So if you dont have install it, try to install it and try again with SEUS

I did that, and it tells me that there is no software available for my phone yet.
So you are doing everything exactly as it says in the guide,and your saying that when you connect the phone in step 8,it hits you with no new software available.
Im asking because
1.Its always worked for me(about 10 times without any problem)
2.People connect their phone too early when using pc companion
If it doesnt help,you can try an earlier version of flashtool
I did it step by step and I'm using version 0.6.7.0 right now because I can't find any links to the newest version. :/

well, I install the SEUS application to another PC, and got the same error, I didn't connect my phone to PC. its just SEUS error.
Search on google, some peoples complain about it since 2010 at Sony support forum, but nobody replied them.

you can Flash your phone using Flash tool. no need to use SUES
thanks but I tried it with no success,. i get this error : Sin header verification failed. and the flashing process stops
hi i was flashing the 6.1.a.2.50 generic italy firmware on my xperia s. it was rooted with a locked bootloader and running stock ics. i used x10 flashtool which is used for arc and arc s and flashed the new firmware. but then it gave me an error of "error: flashing aborted. now unplug device and switch usb debubgging on" the error was after it was flashing apps_log.sin. i didnt install any drivers or anything. now my phone is not booting up and tried flashing again but same error and phone not booting. im downloading the latest flashtool now and will see with that. if anyone can help, id really appreciate it.

try unmarking the checkbox "wipe app logs", and also data, it may hep u with the problem good luck
USE the latest Flashtool version (flashtool-0.9.8.0-windows). I too had the same problem.
