Please connect your phone via usb to your pc & enter fastboot mod. Flash orginal firmware with this tool: http://forum.eternityproject.eu/mot...a****-ed-motorola-razr-official-roms-t27.html.(for En.Eu you should try this fastboot files: SPDREM_U_01.6.5.1-167_SPU-15-M2_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA_USASPDRRTGB_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot).

[Q]Rooted Atrix Hard Reset Failure?

When ever I try either the Fast boot android recovery, or Factory Reset from the Atrix [rooted W locked boot loader, stock gingerbread] it will reboot only to stop at Failed to Boot 2.
Removing the battery usually recovers the phone.
How to I get around th is problem, or do I have to take it back to AT&T for a swap out? [Or is that possible on a rooted phone?
Going in circles here other wise.
Thanks in advance.
I have a botched CWM install attempt and i am at the same screen whenever i turn on the phone. I am going to flash using RSD and see if that recovers it. Ill post once i find out.
Got tired of going in circles, found the OEM ATT stuff, used RSD lite, and installed the SBF
Now I'm back to normal, bloat and all.

I read the NooB guide here on XDA and there are links to get the needed files: RSD Lite, and the AT&T OEM Gingerbread & current firmware SBF file.
I pulled the battery to recover my phone, then fully charged it up.
Made sure it was in USB debug mode.
Then did the Hardware Reset again.
When it stopped at "failed to boot 2. starting rsd mode" I started RSD lite on my PC, Pointed it at the SBF file, and installed.
It took some time, maybe 5~12 minutes?
But it rebooted a few times and I was good to go.
To test it I did several hardware resets, All A Ok.
Peace here till they get Cyanogen stable

Here is what little I know:
Put the Atrix in USB debugging mode.
Connect the phone to the USB cable, and the PC.
Change the USB mode to none.
Click OK
Start RSDlite, then it should see your phone.
And if you have a None US AT&T phone you will need that providers OEM SBF file.
Next move for me is unlocking the boot loader.
I used Pete's Motorola Tools for rooting.

[Q] fail to boot 1

Hi,
With ATT 4.5.91 rooted unlocked phone upgrading to 4.5.141, the process failed after RSD lite 99% completed, the atrix stoped there with the message as follows:
"fail to boot 1 PwrReason: PWR_KEY_PRESS
Starting fastboot protocol support", and I re-fastbooted and
found out "recovery error 0x180004" and "OEM unlock is not implemented".
Please help. Thanks a lot.
If you still have full battery life you will need to flash 1FF-olympus-user-2.3.4-4.5.91-110625-release-keys-signed-ATT-US-GAS_NA_OLPSGBATTSPE_P011-unlocked.sbf. I'm guessing you flashed 1ff-olympus-user-2.3.4-4.5.91-110625-release-keys-signed-att-us-gas_na_olpsgbattspe_p011.sbf....I had this exact issue just yesterday. But you have to have a full life battery or at least enough to fully flash otherwise you're in serious trouble after that. By the way, what method were you using to upgrade to .141? It's not recommended on an unlocked bootloader though I tried it over Moto software update and it worked fine (only tried this cus the OTA update screwed up my wifi and bluetooth). Hope the info helps, good luck!

WEISEY9 thanks, I failed the OTA to 2.3.4-4.5.141, so I used manual update using sd card to update.
Sorry I can't find out the unlocked.sbf you mentioned above. Can you inform where I can download it. Thanks again.
This happened to me before, just open rds lite, connect ur phone yo ur PC, if is not!! It might be detected like fast mode on rsd lite on ur PC!! Pull out the battery, till fastmode(status) disappears from rsd lite! ( u can try power button + volume up key I don't remember how I get it) then just use pudding (the small file, ) ..

Yes that is the reason I request for help to get pudding or UNLOCKED.sbf to flash back to ATT 2.3.4 4.5.91.. As in China I can't access to those websites that provides said file as below (don't know what is the reason).

[Q] Unable to make downgrades & USB problems

Hello guys!
I've a no-brand italian Galaxy S2 and since i've installed the first official ICS version (the LPQ from Poland) i started having some serious issues.
The problem number one: i can't install any different firmware than ICS or Gingerbread 2.3.6 (ILA2 and ILA3). If i try 2.3.4 or 2.3.3 the result is a bunch of red words like "E: failed to mount /cache (No such file or directory)" or "E: failed to mount /efs (No such file or directory)".
The second problem is about the USB specifically when i use the phone as a mass storage. Suddently it disconnects. It can be after 5 minute, 10 minute or even after 30 seconds. It's not a PC problem since i've formatted it and the phone keeps disconnecting!
I believe the two things are linked somehow, that's why i made only one thread.
Hope to get through this with you
PS: Of course i've tried a factory reset, a deep clean 1 and 2. Still nothing.
How are you trying to downgrade?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA
By Odin with only PDA avaiable.
A few things regarding the USB.
Have you tried it with different usb ports and different computers? If they both still cause the problem, have you tried using a different USB cord?
First I'd try what the person above me said.
If it doesn't work on other computers, I recommend you to try to install another firmware thorough recovery. Something like CyanogenMod or MIUI to check if the problem exists there too.

Hello there, yesterday I had the same problem, so I find a thread in the forum It will help you to resolve the problem you have, but, the error is that the CID was erased, I hope you have a backup of your phone.
Just follow the steps. I have to tell you, when I did it, an error was on screen, "Flash Fail", or "Build Error".
I Fixed it installing other JB Retail but this time a FULL one and I made a Factory Cable (because of Battery Low). So thats it.
Try to Flash it in AP FLash Mode, your PC will recognize your razr! make sure you hace the drivers installed.

Hi,
sorry to read that, actually I got this phone from a friend who lost mine (here in Czech Republic) and I did root it, but I saw that many people had problem after rooting so I un-rooted and at the moment it's working properly... I think there is also this "Purify" maybe it did mess with the rom uninstalling things or who knows what...
I hope you find the way to restore the software...

Useful information for anyone that cant get the phone to go to QDL mode
I tried the unbrck method above and could not get it to work as windows did not detect any com port.
after some mucking around i found if you cant get into QDL mode as needed you have to:
Open your phone. (have to unscrew phone)
Remove battery.
Connect usb cable.
Short the test point next to the sim card holder to ground.
Insert battery.
Windows detects phone.
Remove short from test point.
Proceed with unbrick
Hope this helps
Chris
could you explain in more detail how you shorted the phone please iv bricked my v895n

Should I put my phone in download mode when connected to sugar qct-sp when I press upgrade because I get to 2percent even after 15 mins didn't budge I hope someone can help
If you try to root with KingRoot, works. But follow the next steps:
-reboot your phone into recovery mod using POWER BUTTON + VOLUME UP BUTTON
-next select english using POWER BUTTON
-next select "WRITE PROTECT SWICH" and select "set write protect off"
-now reboot your phone and start the KingRoot and Root.
-Now your device is rooted.
I need a stock ROM so badly. I removed some system apps I don't use but now I can't update.
