So I decided to Root my Android Optimus One LG-P504 and that went over well. Soon after I wanted a faster phone, so I attempted to put the Oxygen custom ROM on it, and messed up somewhere. I Then began to try and fix it using a few different methods, none have worked. I am now sitting with my phone completely unusable and sitting in Emergency Mode.

no, I guess, if it is under warranty...but don't let them know, what u were exactly trying to do (rooting and all) else the warranty will get void...
tell them that, this was what u saw, when u woke up today n switched on the phone... u may get lucky enough...

3. Put the phone into EMERGENCY MODE!!
4. Set the Type to '36QCT' and the PhoneMode to 'CS_EMERGENCY'.
5. Download the KDZ file. (V20E_00.kdz)
6. Launch the Software Update.
7. If this fails, retry this steps on a computer running Windows XP.

Thats V20E.dkz file, where did you get that? I could not seem to find the right firmware for my phone, none for America, I ended up just grabbing the UK one.

I have not found a lot of information regarding this particular application and hoped that someone could shed some light on the Error Code 502.
It looks to me like this kdz file is having trouble with the phone type:

I have seen the correct cab file for the VM670ZV4 but this particular phone can only go into Emergency Mode at present. So I believe the only way I will resurrect this device is with a kdz update.

After that, I unplug the USB, My O1 still emergency mode. I can't Power ON or OFF, I just plug out the battery.
After that, My phone can't Power ON or Communication with my Computer.
Somebody can help me?

Never ever do this. In emergency mode it is still recoverable. If you cannot power on the phone, well... you have a nice brick. Unless you have a JTAG (if you wonder WTH it is then you don't ) just head to nearest LG service center to have the PCB changed

No. LG service is best option. JTAG costs half the phone.
Never loose the yellow emergency mode. If the phone is in warranty just tell them u were updating through PC suit and now its dead. (Don't say bricked)

Hey guys, i was upgrading from old 2.2 baseband to 2.3 baseband using lgmdp.exe method . described here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1149530
however when i did that burning eeprom froze in d middle . it wont progress any further as shown in the image. consequently i had to remove my phone which was in emergency mode at that time. i plugged it again but lgmdp.exe just wont read it.
I panicked removed the battery and then the phone wont start . (earlier i was using cm7 rc1 with old baseband using nightlyfour rom's patch) .howver i was able to get it back into recovery mode by pressing back and volume up keys together while starting the phone. i flashed stock 2.3 using kdz ,IT WORKED my phone gets netwokr and calls as normal but i think my baseband is somewat corrupted as is shown in kdz log.

note that i had taken nv2 backup before upgrading baseband which i cant restore now coz lgmdp.exe doesnt read my phone it detects but is unable to read any info no imei no bluetooth address

can u explain why lgmdp wont read it anymore. i think its coz of some temporary files mayb . also does successful flashing from kdz means baseband is ok ? baseband resides on a separate partition right ?

Yes, for example:if you flash mik's cm7 or some custom rom made for old bb you won't get signal...

Try to install latest drivers, there were other users with the same problem and some solved it that way.
i had the same problem.
Was stuck in Emergency Mode like forever. i tried all and didn't work.
Took my cell to a service and they performed something called JTAG. it was somewhere around 25 EURO's. It worked for 2 weeks after that it got back in the same state.
Waited for payday and bought a new LG P500.
The other way around my gfriend had the same problem but KDZ fixed her phone with latest drivers. (only worked on Windows XP not on Windows 7 64 bits)
P.S. Try the manual Emergency Mode not the one it enters when the phone starts.
And also disable the LGE Virtual Modem from the device manager before using KDZ.

I had Oxygen on my phone and I was using it since about a month. Today, suddenly I notice that my phone is turned off even though it had a lot of battery remaining. So, I switch it on and it got stuck at the Oxygen logo for a long time. I tried 2-3 times. So, I booted into recovery which had CWM and tried restoring a backup by selecting "factory reset/clear data" option and then selecting the backup. At the end of the backup process, it said - Error: can't read misc(no space left on device)
As I restarted the phone, it went into emergency mode. It was eternally stuck in this Yellow emergency mode whenever I turned it on.
Thus, I tried searching online and came across KDZ and used it to go back to stock rom. I disabled virtual modem and then tried KDZ with V10E. It initially gave some wparam error 4008 the first time I tried and later on, was always giving wparam error 100; lparam error of 1002.
So, I gave up on KDZ and tried using LDMDP. I tried reinstalling the baseband 20G and then I tried reinstalling recovery onto it. While installing recovery, it showed "Partition table error" at least once and finally one time it said download complete. Now when I turn my phone on, it does not directly go into emergency mode but rather only the LG logo comes up and that logo stays forever.
I even tried hard reset(home + vol down + power) but it doesn't help. It just stays in the lg logo screen.
I dunno what to do anymore. Somebody please help! Is my phone permanently bricked?

Try flashing with KDZ again (to boot into emergency mode, hold Back + Vol Up + Power) and post the error.

Edited my previous post to include those settings.
Just wondering, what operating system are you using? If I remember correctly, I've had trouble using KDZ on Windows 7/8. Luckily I had a Windows XP desktop that did the job. Having said that, maybe you want to try KDZ on another computer.
And you do have your phone's drivers installed right?

First mistake.. you should have wiped everything before restoring through CWM .
Second mistake.. after using kdz or lgmdp did you even check if your device was booting and your root wasnt broken??... to flash recovery?
Easy way to recover
If you stil got root.. use this method.. push recovery and then flash a rom.

I did try to see if it was booting after using kdz or lgmdp. The tools always gave error and when I started my device, it wasn't booting.
