It could charge without being plugged in! lol... I'm sure someday we'll have a technology that allows it. But I can't imagine that any sort of battery would ever be able to charge itself without an outside force acting on it. Unless they managed to find some chemical compound that changes the way it acts as the charge changes, sort of like starting a pendulum, where it swings back and forth losing just a little bit of power each time it changes from one state to another. That would be pretty spiffy.

Voltage drops faster, fuel gauge compensates, then as the voltage calms down as the drain load decreases, the fuel gauge will adjust the battery percentage upwards.

This seems the most likely thing, as it always happens after a large load on the battery. I guess it makes since, Li-Po batteries have a higher voltage when resting than they do when under load. So a Li-Ion should behave similar I suppose.

What's the wireless charging patch?
OP, that happens with clockworkmod. If you use twrp, you can charge your phone with it off.
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
I just turned my phone off (not the first time since I acquired S-off) and my phone refused to turn on. I had to do a battery pull in order to get it to boot.
My SD card also corrupted itself (16GB Class 10) inside of my phone last night. I lost some important pictures that I cannot replace.
I wonder if these occurrences aren't caused by whatever method Revolutionary uses to acquire s-off. I never had a hint of any problems before I used it.

I use autokill memory optimizers and system tuner to under clock to 1188 but it has 2 CPU's and the second one rings 345 to 1508 I can't control the second one? Or **** it down or something? Cause my battery barely last me 4 hours

You have it underclocked so the Second core is working overtime to keep the system up. What you should do is keep everything stock. Don't use any killers and uninstall System Tuner would be my suggestion.

If you ask stupid question, be prepared to get a sarcastic reply.
no
Did you uninstall the Task Killers? And did you reset the CPU Speed back to stock? After a few good battery calibrations....letting the battery drain then recharge to 100% ... You should wipe batt stats. It gives me a really nice uptime. I use my phone way too much for me to have only 4 hrs. If that was the case I'd need 4 spare batteries. Good luck on getting your issue resolved.
Also you could have a defective battery. I know it might be new but it still can be defective from the factory.

2) install a good battery monitor app from stores like Better Battery Stats and see what wakelocks r causing the battery to drain so quickly
The fuel gauge gets confused or whatever you call it often when rebooting or flashing stuff. Wait for a few minutes, don't use the phone, let the battery recalibrate, and you'll see that the battery level will rise again, though slowly.

Hello everyone! I'm surprised this thread doesn't exist yet in the Droid DNA section. So here I am to start the thread. This thread aims to compile and collect all the battery stats of various users of the Droid DNA so that those who would want to know more about the DNA first before buying can check this thread out to know whether or not the Snapdragon S4 Pro with 1080p display could hold up long enough for their own usage.
Please post in the following format:
1. Detailed Screenshots (please just post it as attachments so that the pictures would not take away the whole screen)
2. The screenshots must include the graph of your battery, and your Screen on time.
By the way, no flaming and arguing please. Just cooperate and help the community by posting your battery stats.
If you have some tips to share to the people to help them extend their battery lives, then post here too!
And if you have problems with your battery life, then ask here too!

My battery history has a habit of not resetting. Meaning, I can go one day, about 12-18 hours, shut it off, plug it in over night to charge, and the next morning, instead of the history reading that it has been off the charger for about a minute, it shows over 1 day. I don't get it. It will do that all the time. I don't know what prompts it to change, but it does every few days or so. And just recently (as in the last couple of days) I have been getting a much more rapid drain of the battery, barely making 12 hours. No more excessive use than days previous. Any thoughts? No it is not rooted, or unlocked.
My battery lasts for a while with moderate use all day.

If you uploaded them to a site like imgur it will give you a link with [img ] tags. Use that link.
Or to make it even simpler, just upload them as attachments. No need to use a 3rd party site.
