Has anyone else seen thier LTE signal drop in know LTE areas for a few min then come back? Mine does it 3 or 4 times a day. I have tried stock, TPC, and Saurom but they all do it. Any ideas, or do I need to take my note back for an exchange?

I have no clue what the issue is, but the past two/three days, my 4g has been going in and out. As a matter of fact, as I sit here... I'm on 1x with 4 bars behind it, full battery life, on Pennsylvania Ave in Washington DC.
Anyone else having 4g issues?
same here. even if i have two bars on 4g all of sudden my data connection drops then goes to 3g and a second later switches back to 4g. its annoying as hell when im tryin tether or download something from the market.
I am having problems again since last night. Had almost two days of good 4G signal. Now I can barely get 3G.
Called VZW they said there has been a trouble ticket for Thunderbolt data since yesterday and hope to have it resolved today.
I think they're tweaking it or something. I'm changing in between every 30 seconds. That in itself drains the battery a buttload.
Something is rotten in Denmark with this new network. I can force 3G only but if I leave the thing set to CDMA/LTE, it can't figure out which it wants. Which is pretty much killing all data. Luckily, wifi is an option. I hope they get this new network figured out soon. More LTE devices are slated to drop soon (bet there will be delays).
I was constantly in a state of 1x today. My battery was eaten up it a mere 5 hours... gulp
hell im on verizons 4g map at home here and havent been able to get 4g at all.Ive had the phone for two weeks now and have called verizon about this,,they tried pushing some data info to my phone to no avail,,so i guess im on record now according to the rep and she did admit that this is a work in progress...yes thank god for wifi.
double post?

Mine has been flakier than usual today and this week. I'm on K and 1st NE. But I also never get more than 2 bars here in the office.
If i were you i'd call verizon tech support and ask them if where you are is currently under 4g. I've had the same issue and my address on the coverage map shows that i have 4g but it kept going in and out. Called VZW and they have a different coverage map that they see and he said where i was located i was 1 mile away from the coverage area so thats why it kept switching. Just my luck huh lol
I live in Portland, Oregon. I am a noob on this site, but I seem to be having issues with signal. For some reason, my Galaxy S2 on Straight Talk will drop from H+ to 3G in the middle of downtown! I am running the mod for 4.2.1 on my phone. Does anyone know a way to either boost the signal strength or get better overall signal?
It should drop to 3g when no data is being used. Back to H+ when you're using it again. That what you're saying?

even when I'm trying to upload, it likes to cut out of the h plus signal go back to 3g. even when I try to do a speed test, it will cut out to 3G and not it is any results on the speed test.
Anyone here using the DNA on AT&T and care to comment on what kinds of speeds you're seeing in speedtest and how consistent your signal is? I have seen varying reports about the signal switching back and forth between H and 3G constantly and I know it will probably hit the slower AT&T "4G" backbone with a max 14 mbps radio.
I ordered one to use on AT&T and I wanted to get a feel for what I'm in for before it arrives.
Why do I get the feeling that the HTC ONE has the same signal issue that the IPhone 4 had when it came out. My last phone was the MyTouch 4G and between that phone and my wife's I know we get full signal strength and 4g outside and inside our house. With this phone, I can't seem to maintain 4G at all, I'm usually on 2G about 90% of the time no matter where I go. Playing around a little tonight, I noticed that I hold it facing east I get full signal with 4G, oh yeah with my right hand. If I switch hands I lose my signal. If I face the phone north, I lose the signal. This is inside and outside the house. I called tmobile and they gave me some bs line about signal fluctuations and there might be something wrong with the tower. But my wife's phone is working just fine. Anyone else experiencing anything like this?
Nvm about the directional thing, doesn't seem to be doing it now. Must have just been a coincidence.

Does anyone else notice that the LTE signal on this phone always seems on the weak end? For example, with the T-Mobile cell site about 10 yards away, my LTE reception is -90-95dbm. When sitting that close with my AT&T iPhone 5 (work phone) the signal is about -75-80dbm. What gives? I also notice that the phone does hold onto weak LTE signals, but I am seeing weak LTE signal more often than not. I have seen a -115dbm-120dbm LTE signal. Yes, data still works, my only concern though is that the battery life is getting sucked out of my phone?
Running stock, T-Mobile also likes to show 5 bars for a -109dbm LTE signal. That couldn't be more of an exaggeration could it? Also in my tests, I have noticed if you set the phone to WCDMA only, the signal is a lot stronger.
Anyone care to comment on this?
No issues for me. Even in the factory that i work at i am getting 4G LTE over people with ATT and its quite strong. LTE Tower is a good distance away.
Have you rooted or flashed anything? If its 100 percent pure stock, ask for a replacement. Or even re-flash the latest update to see if that helps.
The only issue i have and others have is where the outgoing data arrow constantly lights up but no data is coming in. I think its a T-Mobile programming bug in 4.4.2 as the issue didn't exist in 4.3 on my S4.

Yes, but on average what is your dbm? Not going by bars.
T-Mobile also does not have a dense cell grid in my area which could be why. Already past the 14 day return window. Absolutely no device modification has even done.
I'm at full 5 bars on LTE 4G signal strength @ - 97 dBm

Appreciate the response. Been doing some research lately, and I think its because t-mobile doesn't have many sites in my area. I don't think their frequencies travel far either. Maybe I am wrong, but wouldn't this cause very low LTE signal?

If the towers are far from you, I would think that would cause a weak signal.
You can try this app.
It may help to see where the issue may be regarding towers, etc

That app just shows the -dBm as a widget. Anyone else notice a -109 or less signal showing 5 bars?

It does give you a more accurate signal bar strength indicator consisting of 14 bars and not 5 bars, as the stock indicator does. I'm at 11 bars.

Ahh. I will have to check the dbm. I don't get full signal but i get like 2 bars. Sometimes four depending where i sit. Then outside, i get full bars. I'll double check the dbm outside with full bars. It should be in and around the -90s.
