So... i've tried to change my boot animation today but it didn't work out.
I was following an wrong tutorial and turns out that i deleted the bootanimation file in the system/bin folder intead of overwrite the bootanimation file in system/media(that i have an backup).
When i turn on the device after the logo of Sony Ericsson i doesn't show the bootanimation, the screen stays black.
This problem it's becausa i've erased that file?
Can somebody upload for me the bootanimation file of system/bin so that i can try again?
Really apreciated.

Is there a problem if i change the bootanimation.zip file on this folder? Or this method only works with this bootanimation.zip?

Yes you can change...but for changing OPEN zip..not extract. Open with winrar or 7zip and replace bootanimation.zip with any other bootanimation.

You also need to install clockworkmod recovery.
Press volume - key repeatedly when you see sony ericsson boot logo after installing CWM.After installing cwm just boot in recovery mode,go to install from zip and select this and install.BUT just in case before doing this make a backup oh whole os with cwm using backup.

For recovery you must install proper recovery or kernel.
Booting....restart, and when phone booting up, then continuously press volume down...when recovery showing up.

Ok guys, it "worked"
I mean, i did install the CMW and applied teh update.zip
But, the same problem continues, after the boot logo it shows a black screen in the place where it suppose to be the boot animation.
I believe it's because i erased that bootanimation file in system/bin...
Now what?

Already tried and nothing.
Can someone please upload the file bootanimation file that is located in system/bin folder for me?
So that i could give it a try and see if that's the problem.

Place the bootanimation.zip in system>media> and then set permission to:
(/)(/)( )
(/)( )( )
(/)( )( )
Reboot and enjoy.
Hi all,
First I have posted this over in the Toolkit section and I now know it was the wrong place to post. Sorry with the double post but in my panic I just posted without thinking. If mods could delete the other post if required. Sorry.
I need help. I tried the Polish JB and it didn't have 3g so i tried putting the EFS partition back and it got stuck with the blue LED glowing and the Samsung banner glowing, no audio boot sound. I used Odin because to put the XXBLG8 as i can get into down load on the phone,It finished with the green Pass. Is there something I can do to, I have the EFS zip and img file in the backup toolkit folder.
Thanks.
Odin can see the phone and I can get into download mode, it's just that the toolkit is waiting for USB debugging and waits.I have tried using odin to load EFS zip but it crashes odin.
Thanks and sorry again.
First things first, have you tried a factory reset from the recovery?

You issue is that for some reason your recovery image is missing or is corrupted. With out loosing everything you can get recovery back by just NVflashing the recovery image only back into the partition. There are tutorials on this particular situation in the question tread where the moderator will be moving this post to when they get the time. Do you remember what boot loader you are on?

Hi, I was trying to install this ROM on my Mini Pro but when I try to boot it it stucks at the "PAC is loading" screen. Maybe I did something wrong? I unlocked my bottloader with the automatic unlocking tool, flashed the kernel with Flashtool. Once flashed the kernel, obviously I couldn't boot to Android, so I removed the SD card, moved the ROM and the Gapps on it and then flashed them through CWM. And now I'm stuck to that screen. What can I do to make it boot?
PS: I'm sorry if itìs the wrong section, but I have less than 10 posts and cannot post in the development one.
Thank you!

Did you wipe data, cache and dalvik cache?
Wipe these and flash the ROM and GAPPS again.
P.S:- You haven't posted in the wrong section this is the place where people ask questions, development section is only for ROMs.

If you are able yo boot in fastboot
Temporary flash Twrp using this command
fastboot boot recovery.IMG
And dirty flash your ROM
Or if you can boot in recovery then directly dirty flash your ROM
If you cannot boot in recovery flash it again as I told
Contact me if it doesn't help
need help
