ya it was, those are my links that aren't valid anymore (in the READ ME First section) since all those links were from Xboarder and all those got deleted when xboarder left..., and I am not allowed to link outside of XDA forums, the stock RUU's can be found on Xboarders own forums. I'm not sure I'm allowed to even say what the website is anymore since I don't know what the issue was, I rather play by this forum rules, I will update my sticky link soon, but please don't expect links to Xboarders website unless I can get clearance from a moderator. If someone can point him to the correct website for xboarders stuff

Well. XDA don't have a problem with linking to that site. I mean we do it with rootzwiki, Modaco etc.
This was just different situation with xboarder56.
Normally it is no problem, as long there is dev support on xda also.
This is only to prevent Devs to simply redirect traffic.
When other members are pointing to external refference its whole different case.

Giving this it's own post- not because I feel special, but because it's so easy for this to get lost in the shuffle as it pertains to 4G connectivity after root. And I seem to be one of the few whose 4G is working.
I rooted my MoPho using [ACS] Photon 4G AIO root and lost 4G connectivity like so many others did. The next day, I restarted my phone and 4G was working flawlessly.

This screenshot is just to show I am in fact rooted.
I don't have the knowledge some of you have when it comes to this Moto rooting stuff. It was easier to do on the Evo. Please don't ask me anything detailed cause the only thing I did after applying root was go to bed. I rebooted my phone sometime the next afternoon and 4G was working.
Honestly im happy yours is working but please....ask yourself this next time before posting....what am I developing?...please post matters like this in the general section.

It is responses like yours which make people feel extremely uncomfortable posting here. I actually posted this for the developers whom I couldn't post for earlier due to lack of screen capture app.

Anyway [email protected] you're right. My sincere apologies I thought I was unlocking it. In order to install apps root; roms unlock. I thought rooting was providing the unlock.
I realized this from another thread.
Since I'm essentially not unlocked, only rooted, a mod can delete this thread. Again, my apologies.

Ok, look kid. You're looking for a faster download of the ICS ODIN. ICS leak came out, what, less than 24 hours ago? So if there are other mirrors, common sense would tell you to look in the treads marked "ICS" and that have new posts from less than 24 hours ago. Any mirrors would be in there. We only have like 3 ICS threads.
The fact is, that you didnt search, or search good enough... so you decided to just open up an new thread (instead of posting in the ONE OF THE EXISTING THREADS) and ask your question, then hope that somebody comes by to hand deliver you your request.
This is why your thread was closed.

I though the VM in the file name means Virgin mobile. There is another one I saw that said NV, I think that is the actual Sprint one.

I wasn't going to post this multiple times because everyone should probably do a little more research, but since you created a new topic for this I will. Please mention in your OP that the file you are linking to is only for devs. Even if you remove the hboot, it will essentially flash the same firmware and rom that was posted yesterday before Joelz fixed it and your phone will not function properly. Please let the devs do what they do guys and if you want to use this, just use what Joelz has for now until your favorite Rom is updated. Oh and several users have confirmed you don't need to actually flash the firmware to use roms based on this so I would refrain from that as well because it's hard to say if when the actual Sprint version is released whether or not it'll include the required firmware to remove the Virgin Mobile branding.

You get an answer or any kind of HELP, press the THANKS button, DON'T post "thanks", you're already welcome, but is it really relevant to post a whoooole post just to say "thanks"? really? There's a button for that.
Press thanks on every rom thread you open and download, you don't have any idea the countless hours devs spend creating the ROMs they do JUST FOR YOU to have better experience using YOUR device, though he/she is getting nada for it. Be grateful, press THANKS!
Donate to a dev if you can, a little donation is a very welcome and very much appreciated form of showing a dev their work is loved and appreciated, their countless hours of their own personal time was totally worth it and that you end users think they deserve just a kind token of appreciation for their work. It goes a long way, even if it's a simple 5 bucks, most of them are college/high school students, like many of our devs here, so hit that thanks button and donate if you can, it's very much appreciated.
Do Not PM devs or common regs or MODS unless they say they're okay with getting PM's, have a problem with a post? Then report it, not everyone wants their inbox being blown up with irrelevant questions and things that can be found in a forum, they usually have support threads, use those to let a dev know something, ONLY PM if it is absolutely important like you're-gonna-die-if-this-person-doesn't-help-you important. Got it? The reaction of some people will be VERY NICE for PM's about none sense and YOU cannot feel insulted if you get a rude response, you simply went looking for it.
I shall continue this post as I see things to be added, that is all, now go have fun reading, since that's where we learn all the basics before practice, you read read read, watch youtube videos of someone doing it. (There's a video of everything on youtube), then read read read some more, be sure and confident before attempting something you have no clue about, if you have NO clue about it, then why on earth are you about to do it? Don't be a noob, be a newb that's willing to be the next Recognized Dev/Contributor/Themer/Mod/Admin sometime in the future.

To be fair, without the end user, your product is useless, but I get what you're saying.
Dark, I see your zeal, but it is time wasted. People do what they want regardless of what is said. Some of us fought the battle and got nowhere. I always like to see someone take up the mantle tho, keep it up
For everyone else, show some fkn courtesy and listen to what is being said. This isn't xda-babysitters! I'm out!

I came here as a regular member as well, very first phone I've ever actually contributed to, I'm glad I did, the work we all put in, you guys more than me has made the support on this device remarkable.

I agree. I made my Amaze toolkit for myself since I warrantied my phone in ever other day and wanted to make the process of rooting quick and easy. Then I shared it and made it better for myself.

I have a YouTube channel and you'll be surprised how many people message me asking them to "walk them through" the process of rooting and flashing a rom -_- I give them links and threads but that's not enough because they're "new to Android and don't feel comfortable" :/
