I see that other people are posting from their NTs ... is there a trick to getting the xda app to work? I can sign in, but whenever I attempt to open a thread, it force-closes. I've cleared data and un/reinstalled, and still have this problem.

Try the Forum Runner app as well... it is definitely faster and better than XDA App..
Premium works flawlessly but if you dont want to buy it, I don't think you will be willing to buy tapatalk premium :|

Use Google search just search what you want to find and add XDA in with the search. I've found you get better results this way.

Yeah so when members say they searched and didn't find something, I believe them and don't rip them.
I don't know if its my network or the kernel. But after flashing the 4aceskernel last night i enabled the fast charged and left it all night with airplane mode on,so i don't get bother. Now this morning i disable airplane off and fast charger off,and i enable my data and roaming, after that i try to get on play store,and it stock on loading with the circle going around,after couple seconds it says connection timeout. I dint pay attention to it, i left it alone.later on i try to use the Facebook app i couldn't it stock on loanding and after couple minutes it says network error. I went to my browser and search something on Google and it was working. I search the letters b,c,d just to check if it was my network. But it turn out that it wasn't my network at lease that's what I'm thinking.so i had some twrp backups from different ROMs and in all of them it still the same problem. I can use the internet to search even i can use xda and i can download ROMs but i cant use the data on any gapps. Or even the Google voice on the stock,opera,chrome,Firefox,dolphin browser. Not even gmails or Facebook. Yes my apn settings are correct.my accespoint is selected in my network.by the way i use net10. I search on Google about this problem but it just show different problems with the network nothing related to my issue. Help in need! Remember all this happen after flashing the kernel #31. Just to get this clear im not blaming this on the kernel because i don't even know if the kernel have to do anything with this,since I'm the online with this issue .but i came here because this the only thing i flashed last night. Any help will be appreciated guys/girls.

I went back to a couple backups even stock gingerbread, stock ICS and lots of other ROMs and still with the same issue.

go settings, scroll down and select about phone and see what baseband you have
it says unknown.!

I have try different modems now and nothing seams to work not even maps or navigation. Only thing that works is search but i cant even get on Facebook or gmail or Google voice on the browser. I feel like braking this phone:banghead:

Sounds like an issue you may want to take over to their forums as the rom is not supported here
But I'm using all kinda different ROMs .i know jellybm is not allowed here but lets forget about jelly am im using all kinda ROMs even stock.

Check your imei number under your battery and see if it matches the number in the about phone section of settings

My imei is correct . i was flashing couple modems and radios and one of them make everything work but after couple minutes it stopped .sucks

Sounds to me like it is time to use odin and wipe everything back to factory stock. If the issue still persists then it is hardware. If you don't have the problem on stock then it is something you flashed and or restored
I gonna continue to flash zips of any kind that has to do with data.even from other devices. Just looking for a solution to this issue until this phone get sold.

You may want to google "jtag service provider" now.
This is going to get ugly ..... I'm in. Flash a Note 2 rom first. Ooh....and the j tag...get them on the line.

I think you should try international note ROMs. They never have data issues with them.
